DEVICES FOR REMOVAL OF VISCERAL FAT, AND RELATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Methods of treating a medical condition in a patient include performing a lipectomy of visceral fat to remove a quantity of the visceral fat from the subject. The removal of visceral fat treats the medical condition such that the subject experiences at least a reduction of symptoms of the medical condition.
Canister stand
A canister stand suitable for holding at least one dispensing canister in a system for removal, delivery and/or transplantation of body tissues and other substances in medical procedures may include a canister stand frame. A frame panel may be carried by the canister stand frame. At least one overhang may be formed by the canister stand frame. At least one canister opening may be provided in the frame panel at the at least one overhang. The at least one canister opening may be suitably sized and configured to accommodate the at least one dispensing canister.
Vibrational injection apparatus
A vibrational injection apparatus suitable for use in a system for removal, delivery and/or transplantation of body tissues and other substances in medical procedures may include an apparatus housing. A vibration mechanism may be provided in the apparatus housing. A material injector may be provided in the apparatus housing and mechanically coupled to the vibration mechanism. An injection cannula may be disposed in fluid communication with the material injector.
High definition liposculpture
A surgical procedure for performing liposculpture on the human body comprising defining a surgical site where the liposculpture is to be performed including substantially 360 about at least the torso portion of the body and/or the limbs. The surgical site is infiltrated with a predetermined quantity of solution and subsequently performing multi-layer emulsification of fat deposits about the surgical site utilizing an ultrasound technology, wherein the multi-layer emulsification includes at least a superficial layer emulsification of fat deposits and a deep layer emulsification of fat deposits. Subsequently, a multi-layer liposuction extraction of the emulsified fat deposits is performed, wherein the multi-layer liposuction extraction comprises a deep layer liposuction; a superficial layer liposuction and an intermediate layer liposuction.
COAXIAL-DRIVEN TISSUE ASPIRATION INSTRUMENT SYSTEM
A coaxially-driven tissue aspiration instrument having a hand-supportable housing with a stationary tubing connector provided at the rear of the housing and receiving a length of flexible tubing connected to a vacuum source. A twin cannula assembly is coupled to a an electromagnetic cannula drive mechanism disposed within a guide tube structure mounted in the hand-supportable housing and powered by electrical power signals so as to periodically exert forces on the a front-loaded cannula base device slidably supported within the guide tube structure, and to which the inner cannula is releasably connected. The coaxially exerted forces cause the front-loaded cannula base device, and thus inner cannula, to reciprocate within the guide tube structure, while tissue is being aspirated along the inner cannula lumen, through the reciprocating front-loaded cannula base device, and through the stationary tubing connector, and along the flexible tubing towards the vacuum source.
FAT SUCTION AND GRAFT SYRINGE HAVING NEGATIVE PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT MEANS
The present invention relates to a fat suction and graft syringe, and more specifically, to a fat suction and graft syringe having a negative pressure adjustment means, wherein a negative pressure state in a barrel can be maintained during a procedure only by pulling and releasing a plunger, and only by slightly rotating the plunger, the plunger can be pushed inside the barrel without being constrained by a multi-level holding plate and a single-surface rotation clip, whereby the syringe has enhanced convenience in the use and production thereof so that many practitioners accustomed to using a normal syringe can easily use the syringe without separately learning how to manipulate the syringe.
Decompression Device and Method
A decompression device and method for removing marrow and other fluid from an intramedullary canal. The decompression device includes a cannula having a channel that allows fatty marrow to pass therethrough. A first port extends from the device and is in operable connection to a vacuum source that creates suction for removing fluid from the intramedullary canal. In some embodiments, one or more fenestrations are disposed along the second end of the cannula to expedite the removal of the fluid. In operation, the cannula is inserted into the intramedullary canal of a femur. Once fatty marrow is removed from the intramedullary canal, the cannula is removed and a reaming device is inserted into the femur. In this way, the fatty marrow is removed prior to the reaming procedure in order to prevent these fluids from traveling to the lungs causing blockage that leads to severe cardiorespiratory and vascular dysfunction.
Pneumatic vibrational injection apparatus
A pneumatic vibrational injection apparatus suitable for use in a system for removal, delivery and/or transplantation of body tissues and other substances in medical procedures may include an apparatus housing having an air inlet chamber, an air outlet chamber, a connecting chamber connecting the air outlet chamber and the air inlet chamber and an injection chamber disposed between the air inlet chamber and the air outlet chamber. An injection nozzle may be disposed in fluid communication with the injection chamber. An injection cannula may be disposed in fluid communication with the injection nozzle. An inlet transducer wheel and an outlet transducer wheel may be mounted for rotation in the air inlet chamber and the air outlet chamber, respectively, of the apparatus housing. A vibration transducer may be disposed in physical contact with the inlet transducer wheel and the outlet transducer wheel. The injection nozzle may be disposed in physical contact with the vibration transducer.
VIBRATING SURGICAL INSTRUMENT FOR LIPOSUCTION AND OTHER BODY CONTOURING APPLICATIONS
A vibrating hand held surgical instrument for loosening tissue of a patient for liposuction or body contouring procedures. The instrument includes a motor connected to a vibration actuator having an eccentric rotating mass and an end effector for engaging tissue operatively connected to the vibration actuator, wherein the motor rotates the eccentric mass to cause the end effector to vibrate to loosen tissue. A flexible shaft having first end and second ends dampen the vibration to the motor and to the operator handle.

A syringe plunger may slidably engage the injection chamber in the apparatus housing.
