Saw blade

A saw blade includes an elongated blade body having a first end portion, a second end portion, and a cutting edge portion. An exposed first tool holder portion is coupled to the first end portion and is configured to removably mount the blade body in a blade holder of a powered saw. An unexposed second tool holder portion is defined by a first score in the blade body between the first end portion and the second end portion. The first score is configured so that the second tool holder portion can be exposed by breaking off a first removable portion of the blade body at the first score. The second tool holder portion is configured to removably mount the blade body in a blade holder of a powered saw when the second tool holder portion is exposed.

Asphalt saw blade

A unique design is provided that may increase the strength and performance and extend the life of a saw blade, particularly when used to cut asphalt. The saw blade may include a main body forming teeth, opposing outer plates secured to each tooth and a cutter secured to each tooth between the respective outer plates. Each tooth can form a recessed section in which a base of cutter main body may be positioned. The outer plates may extend over the recessed section. The outer plates may also extend over a notch formed in a rear face of a rear portion of each tooth. Legs of the outer plates may extend radially inward overtop the main body of the saw blade. A front portion of each tooth and the respective outer plates may extend frontward beyond the respective cutter.

Power tool for forming a channel in a work surface and accessories therefor

A power tool for forming a channel in a work surface includes a first section carrying a rotatable shaft having a shaft axis and a second section that engages the work surface; a cutting disc having a substantially circular blade provided on the rotatable shaft; a first support portion on one side of the cutting disc and a second support portion on the opposite side of the cutting disc which cooperate to hold the cutting disc at an oblique angle relative to the shaft axis. A first locking feature of the first support portion and a second locking feature of the second support portion extend through a circular opening of the cutting disc and cooperate to resist relative rotation of the first and second support portions. The first section is movable relative to the second section to move the cutting disc into and out of engagement with the work surface.

Cutting tool for gang saw

A cutting tool includes a blade formed so as to extend in the width direction or length direction of a workpiece; at least one cutting tip formed so as to protrude from the lower portion of the blade so as to cut the workpiece by reciprocating by means of a swinging motion; and a brazing part formed between the blade and the at least one cutting tip so as to silver-braze the blade and the at least one cutting tip. The brazing part includes a first silver solder layer; a metal sheet layer formed on the first silver solder layer and having a melting point that is higher than a silver brazing process temperature; and a second silver solder layer formed on the metal sheet layer.
