One-piece cutting head for a drill bit

A one-piece cutting head for a drill bit includes a main cutting edge that extends between radial extremities of the cutting head. The main cutting edge is disposed between main rake surfaces and main relief surfaces. Each main rake surface includes one or more rake facets, and each main relief surface includes one or more relief facets. Adjacent rake facets and relief facets define a primary transverse edge therebetween that extends away from the main cutting edge. The cutting head further includes a plurality of side cutters that are transverse to the main cutting edge and that propagate from the primary transverse edge to a radial extremity of the cutting head. Each side cutter includes a side cutting edge between a side cutting rake facet and a side cutting relief facet.

DRILL BIT, DRILL CHUCK ATTACHMENT FOR THE DRILL BIT AND ALSO DRILL CHUCK FOR THE DRILL BIT

A drill bit having a chip channel which opens out into an annular gap volume formed by an adapter element is disclosed, along with a drill chuck attachment and a drilling machine.

TOOL FOR ROUGHENING A BOREHOLE SURFACE

A tool for roughening a borehole surface. The tool includes a coupling portion for clamping the tool; a tool head for machining the borehole surface; and an extraction duct. The coupling portion is disposed at a first end of a tool shank and the tool head at an opposite, second end of the tool shank. The tool head has a cutter disposed circumferentially on the tool head. The tool head has a slit, which passes through from one side to the other and which, starting from an end face of the tool head, extends axially along a longitudinal axis of the tool. The extraction duct extends at least partly axially along the longitudinal axis of the tool for extraction of drilling dust. The extraction duct, starting from the end face of the tool head, extends inside the tool shank and discharges circumferentially into a connecting opening in the tool shank.

Drilling Tool

A drilling tool, in particular a rock drilling tool, for a portable machine tool, includes an axis of rotation, at least one spiral path, and at least one wear surface transition. The at least one spiral path is coiled about the axis of rotation along the axis of rotation and includes at least one wear surface having at least one bandwidth. There is a change in the at least one bandwidth of the at least one wear surface at a position of the at least one wear surface transition.

CUTTING TOOL

A cutting tool comprises a tool body having a first end and a second end, and a longitudinal axis extending between the first end and the second end. The first end comprises two or more cutting portions, with each of the cutting portions comprising a cutting edge and a flank surface.

Each cutting edge extends radially outwardly from a centre region of the first end to a perimetral edge of the first end, with the cutting edge being angled relative to the longitudinal axis. Each flank surface extends circumferentially from the cutting edge.

Each of at least two of the two or more flank surfaces comprises an abrasive portion extending over at least a part of the respective flank surface and each abrasive portion comprises a plurality of abrasive features.

TOOL FOR ROUGHENING A BOREHOLE SURFACE

A tool for roughening a borehole surface. The tool includes a coupling portion for clamping the tool in a drilling machine; and a tool head for machining the borehole surface, where the tool head comprises a cutter that is circumferentially disposed on the tool head, and where the tool head has at least one slit, which passes through from one side to the other and which, starting from an end face of the tool head, and extends axially along a longitudinal axis of the tool.

A wedge anchor setting tool has a drill bit component having a drill tool receiving member and a drill bit member. A polygonal shaped element is located between the two members. A sheath component has an open passage and an opening at the terminus of each end. The first end has a polygonal shape which conforms to the polygonal element and the second end having a polygonal shape which conforms to the shape of the wedge anchor. The method of installation using the tool includes drilling a channel into a wall using the drill bit component. The sheath component is then inserted over the drill bit component and a wedge anchor is inserted into the smaller opening at the second end of the sheath component. The wedge anchor is then drilled into the wall and tightened by the drilling tool to secure an attachment member to the wall.

Method for Setting a Screw

The invention relates to a method for setting a screw, which has an external thread in a front region and a drive in a rear region for introducing a torque into the screw, in a drilled hole in a substrate of a mineral material, in which method an internal thread is produced in the drilled hole by means of a threaded drill provided with a cutting thread, and then the screw is introduced into the drilled hole and in so doing the external thread of the screw is screwed into the internal thread, produced by the threaded drill, in the drilled hole. According to the invention, there is provision that the outside diameter of the cutting thread of the threaded drill is smaller than the outside diameter of the external thread of the screw. The invention further relates to packages comprising object for carrying out such method.
