Masonry Tool
An apparatus for trimming stone and brick is disclosed. The apparatus is comprised of flat sections which radiate from a central axis. Each of the flat sections has two cutting edges, for a total six cutting edges.
In use, the apparatus is placed onto a supportive platform so two of the flat sections contact the platform, while the third extends up and is an apical striking platform. The mason holds a stone or brick so it rests on one of the cutting edges of the apical striking platform and strikes the top face of the stone or brick with a hammer, approximately over where the stone or brick contacts the edge of the trimmer.
In addition to providing a cutting surface, the subject matter of this application reduces errant vibration caused by the striking which can result in irregular cutting.
SELF-CONTAINED PORTABLE TILE CUTTING SYSTEM
An angle grinder attachment which creates a portable, cordless, dustless, indoor ceramic tile cutting machine. There is no dust produced when using this attachment. The dust (and silica) are turned into a paste which is easily cleaned and disposed of. This attachment does not require electricity or running water in the field. This attachment is truly portable, it is self-contained, and it can be used indoors without creating dust or flooding an area with water
Set square for manual ceramic cutter
A set square for manual ceramic cutters, including a ruler intended to be rotatably mounted and secured to a base of a manual ceramic cutter, defining various angles; a stop that is mounted on the ruler and can be moved longitudinally; and a tightening element for securing to the ruler. The cross-section of the ruler includes two oblique planes that converge towards an intermediate surface provided with a longitudinal recess having a generally T-shaped cross section, for mounting the tightening element. The lateral stop includes two oblique planes facing the ruler and having the same slope as the oblique planes of the ruler, and which converge towards an intermediate surface that has an opening to mount the tightening element.
CUTTING DEVICE FOR MANUAL CERAMIC-CUTTING MACHINES
The invention relates to a cutting device for manual ceramic-cutting machines, which comprises a support (1) provided with: a vertical hole (11) that receives a first end of a bar (21) of a cutting tool (2), the front face (26) of said bar being provided with at least one row of recesses (27) spaced apart vertically; and a horizontal hole (12) that receives a handle (3) and a stem (4) capable of moving longitudinally between a front position for locking the cutting tool (2) and a rear position for releasing the cutting tool; the stem (4) comprising, at its front end, at least one projection (42) which, in the front position for locking the cutting tool, is accommodated in one of the recesses (27) on the front face (26) of the bar (21) of the cutting tool (2).
CUTTING DEVICE FOR MANUAL CERAMIC CUTTERS
The present invention relates to a cutting device for manual ceramic cutters. Disclosed is a cutting device for manual ceramic cutters, which comprises a support (1) provided with a vertical hole (11) for mounting a cutting tool (2), and a horizontal hole (12) in which are mounted a handle (3) and a rod (4) for attaching the cutting tool (2). The cutting tool (2) comprises a bar (21) that has at a first end (22) an inclined ramp (27) that facilitates the initial mounting thereof in the support (1), moving the rod (4) backwards and compressing a spring (5) for pushing the rod (4). The front face of the bar (21) comprises a longitudinal groove (26), and the rod (4) comprises a front appendage (42) accommodated in the longitudinal groove (26), immobilising the cutting tool in the support when pressed by the handle (3).
Glass plate bend-breaking machine
A glass plate bend-breaking machine 1 includes: a flexible endless belt 3; a supporting member 4 for supporting the endless belt 3; two glass plate receiving devices 7 and 7a respectively having glass plate receiving surfaces 6 and 6a; moving devices 8 and 8a for respectively moving the glass plate receiving devices 7 and 7a in an X direction and a Y direction perpendicular to the X direction; two press-breaking devices 9 and 9a; and moving devices 10 and 10a for respectively moving the press-breaking devices 9 and 9a in the X direction and the Y direction perpendicular to the X direction.
CUTTING WORKSTATION BLADE AND CARTRIDGE SYSTEM
Embodiments herein relate to a workstation that includes a cutting tray and one or more rails. The workstation may include a perimeter cutting element configured to travel along the rails, and the perimeter cutting element may include a perimeter blade mounted at least partially within a perimeter cartridge. The workstation may further include a profile cutting element configured to travel along the rails, wherein the profile cutting element includes a profile blade mounted at least partially within a profile cartridge. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.
Laser Assisted Tile Cutting Device
A laser assisted tile cutting device consists of a base section, cutting unit, a laser beam emitting unit, a pair of guide rails, a sliding mechanism, a first mounting pad, and a second mounting pad. The first mounting pad and the second mounting pad, which are aligned parallel to each other, are perpendicularly mounted onto the base section. The pair of guide rails extend from the first mounting pad to the second mounting pad. The cutting unit is slidably positioned along the pair of guide rails via the sliding mechanism. The laser beam emitting unit generates a guided path for the cutting unit to follow. By following the guided path, accurate linear cuts and angular cuts can be obtained.
TILE CUTTER
A tile cutting apparatus is provided that includes a main body, a lever coupled to the main body, and a pressing member coupled to the lever. The main body includes a base member, a first plate member coupled to the base member, a second plate member coupled to the base member and disposed adjacent to the first plate member, and a projecting member that includes a projecting body. The projecting member is coupled to the first and second plate members such that a force applied to the first and second plate members towards the base member causes the projecting body to move away from the base member and between the first and second plate members. The lever is configured to be rotatable about an axis such that rotating the lever about the axis moves the pressing member towards or away from the base member.
