INJECTION DEVICE, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR USE
An injection device for the self-administration of an injection of solution that includes a body portion/handle configured for engagement with a cartridge containing the solution and an injection needle. The injection device includes a safety mechanism whereby ejection of solution from the injection device cannot be done unless the safety mechanism is released. The injection device further involves two-stage deployment whereby a needle may be inserted upon release of the safety mechanism and solution is injected upon full insertion of the needle.
Medical vial holder apparatus and method
Embodiments of a medical vial holder apparatus and system are disclosed. A main body has a mount engagement portion and a vial engagement portion. A facing wall is attached to the vial engagement portion thereby defining a vial retention cavity therebetween. A lever element is mounted to the main body for pivotal movement between a grip position and a release position. The lever element has a grip portion with a vial engagement face. A grip distance is defined between the vial engagement face and the facing wall. Movement of the lever element from the release position toward the grip position reduces the grip distance. Movement of the lever element from the grip position toward the release position increases the grip distance. The lever element is biased toward the grip position. A plurality of the apparatuses are adjustably mountable in line with one another by way of their mount engagement portions.
MODULAR ADJUSTABLE STORAGE ORGANIZER
An improved storage organizer (10) having a plurality of vertical modular side panels (30) providing support, adjustability of size, location and storage capacity for a plurality of horizontal, adjustable shelf rails (70), adjustable, extendable, pull-out shelves (20) and encoded labels (25A) enabling identification of stored items within upright freezers and refrigerators in the first embodiment. A user of the organizer (10) can assemble the organizer without tools in the first embodiment to suit various models, dimensions and inner configuration of the storage space and anticipated weight and sizes of items stored on the shelves. A user of the organizer can track quantity and content of stored items by means of encoded labels (25A) inserted in shelf label holders (25) and in or on packages containing stored items, both visually and by means of remote inventory control systems. Thus, a considerably more versatile, durable, modular and efficient storage organizer is provided—that can be adjusted to provide more or less storage capacity in most models of upright freezers and refrigerators in the first embodiment as well as in other cold, heated or room-temperature storage compartments in other embodiments with ease of tracking quantities and locations, viewing, adding, removing, rearranging, identifying and retrieving a variety of stored items.
DEVICE CONTAINER
Device containers, such as therapeutic kit containers, are disclosed. In one embodiment, a device container comprises a first member configured to releasably hold a syringe barrel, a second member configured to releasably hold a vial, wherein the second member is coupled to the first member by a first hinge, and a third member configured to releasably hold a vial adapter, wherein the third member is coupled to the second member by a second hinge.
Structure for packaging containers for pharmaceutical use
A structure for packaging containers for pharmaceutical use including a support plane fitted with a plurality of seats for housing containers for pharmaceutical use, the seats having main extension axes (X-X), parallel to each other, the seats being delimited by perimeter walls which project from the support plane towards a top side of the structure, where on the side of a top face of the seats, intended to receive in abutment an undercut element of said containers, a raised perimeter of each seat is provided to delimit and surround at least partially an annular pocket, enlarged with respect to the seat and intended to receive in abutment the undercut element of said containers for pharmaceutical use.
STRUCTURE FOR THE PACKING OF PRIMARY CONTAINERS FOR PHARMACEUTICAL USE
A structure for the packaging of containers for pharmaceutical use including: a support plane fitted with a plurality of seats for housing containers for pharmaceutical use, the seats having main extension axes (X-X), parallel to each other, the seats (24,48) being delimited by side walls extending from a lower end to an upper end, the upper end facing and being configured to receive in abutment a collar of an associable container for pharmaceutical use. The perimeter seats, arranged externally along a perimeter edge of the support plane, have, at the lower end, at least one guide or chamfer diverging as it moves away from the lower end, opposite the upper end.
Accessory holder with syringe assembly removal tool
A medical procedure accessory components holding unit and methods of using thereof. The accessory holder is designed to hold and store one or more components or medical devices that could be used in a medical procedure, particularly medical devices, for applying an anesthetic. The accessory holder may include four (4) medical device storage or use modules: a syringe disposal device module, a dispensing tool module, a canister module, and a syringe attachment module.
SYRINGE BARREL, PREFILLED SYRINGE, AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A method for manufacturing a syringe barrel includes: providing a syringe barrel comprising a hollow body portion having an inner surface, the syringe barrel being configured such that a gasket is insertable into the syringe barrel and slidable on the inner surface of the body portion; applying a non-reactive silicone oil having a viscosity in a range of 3000 cps to 30000 cps to the inner surface of the body portion by spraying the silicone oil with a coating amount rate of 0.02 mg/cm.sup.2 to 0.2 mg/cm.sup.2; and heating the silicone oil applied to the inner surface of the body portion in a state in which a liquid is not filled in the syringe barrel, without using a tool to spread or smooth the silicone oil.
Holding Device Configured to Support a Plurality of Medical Containers Such as Syringes
This holding device comprising a supporting plate, the supporting plate having an upper face, a lower face opposite the upper face, a plurality of openings arranged according to a predetermined pattern and each configured to receive a barrel of one of the medical containers, plurality of reinforcing ribs protruding from at least one of the upper and lower faces and extending between adjacent openings of the plurality of openings, and the plurality of reinforcing ribs comprises at least one oblique rib extending obliquely relative to a longitudinal direction of the supporting plate from one side to another side of the supporting plate and between two different pairs of adjacent peripheral openings.
