CHARGE DEVICES HAVING POSITIONING DEVICES AND PROCESSES FOR CLOSING RECEPTACLES WITH VENTING
A charge device is provided that includes a charge barrel having a charge. The charge barrel has an exit aperture and a flexible positioning device at the exit aperture. The charge is located inside the charge barrel. The charge barrel is adapted and arranged so that the charge is able to exit the charge barrel via the exit aperture.
Needle Packaging
Packages of sterile needles are described herein. Such packages may include a container, a tray having a plurality of receiving apertures that are sized and shaped to receive a needle hub or a needle shield, a plurality of needles disposed within the plurality of receiving apertures; and a lid being supported by the container. The lid and container form an enclosure for the plurality of needles.
Holding member and packaging structure of chemical container parts
A holding member with a sheet-shaped substrate portion having first and second surface; and plural storage portions in a cylinder shape, each penetrating the first and second surfaces of the substrate portion, and each protruding on a first surface side, is provided. The storage portions each comprise a first opening end portion for loading and unloading a container part at a protruded tip of each storage portion; a bulging portion where an inner wall face on a first opening end portion side bulges continuously from the first opening end portion toward inside the cylinder-shaped portion, thereby forming an opening widened toward the first opening end portion; a second opening end portion at a base end formed by the second surface of the substrate portion; and a tapered-off portion where the inner wall face narrows on a second opening end portion side, an opening thereof toward its end.
SYRINGE CONTROL ASSEMBLY
Syringe control assemblies are described herein. A syringe control assembly includes an assembly body, a first syringe, a second syringe, and a pump assembly. The first and second syringes are releasably coupled to a syringe mounting rack of the assembly body. The pump assembly includes a first pump unit and a second pump unit. Each pump unit is in fluid communication with each respective syringe. In a priming configuration, the first pump unit is configured to draw fluid flow from the first syringe cavity and the second pump unit is configured to pump fluid flow into the second syringe cavity.
FRAME FOR HOLDING SECONDARY PHARMACEUTICAL PACKAGING
A frame for holding a secondary pharmaceutical packaging includes: a base plate including at least two openings formed to hold the secondary pharmaceutical packaging; at least two sidewalls connected to the base plate; and at least one stacking element located on the base plate.
Packaging Assembly
A packaging assembly includes a case configured to at least partially contain injection devices for delivering a medicament; a light sensor configured to detect light incident on the packaging assembly; and a status indicator configured to generate an output which indicates a status of the packaging assembly conditional on an intensity of light detected by the light sensor exceeding a threshold light intensity.
Insulin pen smart administration and teaching device
Methods, computer systems, and computer-storage medium are provided for insulin pen association. A stand-alone insulin pen administration device integrates with BCMA and EHR systems and also operates independently as an insulin administration patient educational tool. The insulin pen administration device contains a library of insulin products, unique identifiers that allow the pen administration device to identify the correct product (e.g., insulin pen), size, and concentration when the insulin pen is scanned and loaded into the pen administration device or administered to the patient. Additionally, approved insulin protocols (i.e. sliding scales) can be entered into the pen administration device to allow for administration of insulin when these protocols are ordered.
TRANSPORT DEVICE FOR MEDICAL CONTAINERS
A transport device for medical containers includes a carrier plate which has openings for receiving medical containers, and optionally a trough-shaped container which is formed such that the carrier plate can be inserted in the trough-shaped container. The carrier plate contains a polymer and 7.5 to 50 wt.-% inorganic particles. The optional trough-shaped container contains a polymer and optionally 7.5 to 50 wt.-% inorganic particles.
Device and method for closing syringe bodies
The invention relates to a device (IO) for manually inserting a plunger-type stopper into a syringe cylinder, comprising a receptacle (18) designed to hold the syringe cylinder; a tubular barrel (30) designed to accommodate the plunger-type stopper in its interior, a holding device (28) designed to hold the barrel, and a moving device (40, 42, 44, 46, 48) designed to move the plunger-type stopper; the holding device (28) having an actuation portion (34) for moving the barrel (30) relative to the plunger-type stopper. The present invention further relates to a corresponding method.
Container holder assembly
According to aspects of the present disclosure, a retaining apparatus for use with a medicament delivery device is provided. The medicament delivery device includes a container holder assembly and an actuator assembly. The container holder assembly is configured to receive a container containing a medicament. The container holder assembly is configured to couple to the actuator assembly. The actuator assembly includes a plunger rod for engaging a stopper in the container. The retaining apparatus includes a plunger lock, a retaining member, and a biasing member. The plunger lock is seated within a proximal end of the actuator assembly, and secures the plunger rod. The retaining member is seated within the plunger lock. The biasing member is secured between the proximal end of the actuator assembly and the retaining member. The retaining member is biased in a proximal direction by the biasing member.
