CLOSING A CHAMBER OF A CONTAINER FOR A PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCT
A device for closing a chamber of a container having an opening for accessing the chamber comprises a plunger, a plunger seat, a container carrier and a spacer. The plunger seat releasably holds the plunger in a predefined alignment. The container carrier is arranged to be connected to the container in a predefined position and alignment in relation to the opening of the container. The spacer is arranged to position and align the plunger seat adjacent to and distant from the container carrier such that the opening of the container is open when the container is connected to the container carrier.
Device container
Device containers, such as therapeutic kit containers, are disclosed. In one embodiment, a device container includes a first member configured to releasably hold a syringe barrel, a second member configured to releasably hold a vial, wherein the second member is coupled to the first member by a first hinge, and a third member configured to releasably hold a vial adapter, wherein the third member is coupled to the second member by a second hinge.
Syringe positioning apparatus and method
Syringe positioning apparatus and methods are disclosed that provide for automated positioning of a syringe at an axially aligned position on a predetermined axis. The apparatus and methods employ first and second members having opposing surfaces that include first and second ramps, respectively, wherein the first ramp angles upward and away from the second member, and the second ramp angles upward and away from the first member. At least one of the first and second members may be advanceable toward the other by an actuator, wherein the first and second ramps may slidably engage a syringe and thereby elevate the syringe to the axially aligned position on the predetermined axis.
LIQUID INJECTION DEVICE AND ASSEMBLY INCLUDING SAME
A liquid injection device includes: a syringe that comprises a barrel part configured to be filled with a liquid, and a needle attached to a distal portion of the barrel part and configured to discharge the liquid, a cap that covers the needle; a housing that covers at least a base end part of the syringe; and a step part that is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the cap or between the housing and the cap, the step part protruding farther outward than a side surface of the barrel part. The step part is configured to engage with a lower surface of a notch part that extends laterally inward from an outer edge of a flange part of a container such that the cap is removable from the housing by the notch part.
Medical device packaging container, medical device packaging, and outer cylinder packaging for pre-filled syringes
A medical device packaging container housing a medical device and being configured for high pressure steam sterilization includes: a main body part that includes an open upper face part and a bottom part, wherein the upper face part includes a lid member fixing part for attachment of a peelable sheet-shaped lid member; and a water dispersion part disposed in a peripheral part of the bottom part along a side wall of the main body part, and being configured to disperse water stored in the peripheral part.
Injector device with flow path and drive
A device for drug injection has a cartridge, which in turn has a reservoir and a fluid path. The fluid path carries a fluid for injection from the reservoir to the place where the patient is to be injected. The fluid path comprises a needle, and the fluid path is kept sterile. A drive chain extends the needle to the injection point, but is only mechanically connected to the fluid path to operate the needle, the mechanical connection being such as to operate the needle while maintaining the fluid path sterility.
AUTO-INJECTOR
An auto-injector operable in a single activation step. The auto-injector is automatically armed when removed from its carrying receptacle. The auto-injector may be prefilled with more than one constituent of a beneficial agent, stored in separated compartments, in such an arrangement that the compartments will automatically merge when the auto-injector is removed from its carrying receptacle.
Encased syringe
An embodiment of the present invention is an encased syringe in which a prefilled syringe is accommodated in a case. The prefilled syringe includes a cylindrical syringe body filled with a foamable material and a plunger pressed into the syringe body on one end side. The case includes a body accommodating part faulted to be depressed along the shape of the syringe body to accommodate the syringe body and a plunger accommodating part formed to be depressed along the shape of the plunger to accommodate the plunger. The length of the plunger accommodating part is smaller than the length of the plunger in an axial direction of the prefilled syringe.
GUIDING DEVICE FOR INSERTING AND GUIDING A HARVESTING FAT TISSUE CANNULA AND RELATED STERILE KIT FOR HARVESTING ADIPOSE DERIVED STEM CELLS (ADSCS)
This disclosure provides a guiding device shaped so as to hold a syringe equipped with a harvesting cannula and to allow to insert the harvesting cannula at the exact depth below the skin of the patient to attain the subcutaneous adipose tissue. The cannula may be moved move back and forth in a driven manner immersed in the subcutaneous adipose tissue without any risk of wounding inner organs of the patient and in the proper layer. This disclosure provides also a syringe holder in the form of a hollow box with circular openings on a top surface. The circular openings are shaped so as to let a barrel of a syringe enter therein and a barrel flange not pass therethrough, in order to keep harvesting syringes hung with their barrel flanges abutted against the top surface of the syringe holder and their barrels protected into the hollow box.
PEN NEEDLE ASSEMBLY APPARATUS
A pen needle assembly apparatus (60) includes a housing (30), a movable support (40) for supporting a pen needle (18), an ejector (80) for ejecting a used pen needle from the support, and an actuator (56). The support (40) is rotated relative to the housing (30) to index the pen needles to a position where the pen needle can be accessed and coupled to a delivery device (10). The used pen needle (18) is returned to the well (42) in the support and the support rotated toward the ejector (80) where the used pen needle is ejected to a compartment (50) in the housing for disposal. A cover (60) on the housing includes at least one opening (65) for accessing the pen needle when the support is rotated to position a pen needle relative to the opening in the cover.
