Vial adaptor assembly for a closed fluid transfer system
A vial adaptor assembly, suitable for use with a vial containing a medicament and a syringe adaptor, which is in turn connectable to a syringe having a piston adapted for selectable displacement in a first direction for drawing fluid into the syringe and in a second direction for expelling fluid from the syringe, the vial adaptor assembly including: a vial connector for non-removable connection with the vial containing a medicament; a syringe adaptor connector for connection with the syringe adaptor; a pressure equalization chamber having a variable volume, which is sealed from the outside environment during use; a liquid pathway communicating between an interior of the vial containing the medicament and an interior of the syringe when the syringe adaptor is connected to the syringe adaptor connector and the syringe is connected to the syringe adaptor and the vial connector is connected to the vial containing the medicament; and a venting pathway communicating between the interior of the vial containing the medicament and an interior of the pressure equalization chamber, when the vial connector is connected to the vial containing the medicament, wherein the pressure equalization chamber and the venting pathway are mutually configured such that, when the syringe adaptor is connected to the syringe adaptor connector and the syringe is connected to the syringe adaptor and the vial connector is connected to the vial containing the medicament, substantially all of any of the medicament that becomes located within the pressure equalization chamber is removed therefrom via the venting pathway and returned to the interior of the vial by displacement of the piston of the syringe in the first direction.

A medicament delivery device comprising: a main body arranged to receive a medicament cartridge sealed with a penetrable barrier; a needle carrier carrying a needle; a cap removably coupled to the needle carrier, a pre-stressed spring connected to the needle carrier and to the main body, wherein the pre-stressed spring is held by an activation element coupled to the cap, wherein the activation element is arranged to release the spring when the cap is pulled in a distal direction from the device, thereby causing the needle carrier to move axially in a proximal direction.

A vacuum controlled liquid delivery system, including a primary chamber; a manifold assembly affixed to the primary chamber, the manifold assembly comprising a feed line and an external pressure line; and a cap configured to reversibly engage the manifold assembly at one end and reversibly cap a syringe at another end, the cap comprising a septum and a porous plug, wherein when the cap is attached to the manifold assembly the feed line passes through the septum, and further wherein the porous plug seals upon contact with a liquid.
Injection device with a remote control
In one aspect, the disclosure relates to an injection device configured for expelling of a dose of a medicament. The injection device comprises a housing configured to accommodate a medicament reservoir, and a drive mechanism comprising an electric propulsion configured to mechanically interact with the medicament reservoir and configured to withdraw or to expel an amount of the medicament from the medicament reservoir. The injection device has at least a first interface directly or indirectly connected to the electric propulsion and configured to connect to a second interface of an auxiliary electronic device. The electric propulsion is controllable by the auxiliary electronic device when the first interface and the second interface are interconnected.

The present disclosure relates to a therapeutic agent delivery device with anti-roll features. In one embodiment, a therapeutic agent delivery device may include a tubular body including a first end portion, a second end portion, and a lumen extending between the first end portion and the second portion. An outer surface of the tubular body includes a first opening in communication with the lumen. The outer surface of the tubular body further may include a ledge extending around a periphery of the first opening, and a portion of the ledge closest to the second end portion of the tubular body may be shaped as an arrowhead. The therapeutic agent delivery device also may include a cap configured to engage the second end portion of the tubular body, which may include a curved sidewall extending radially outward. The curved sidewall may include a protrusion.

When the bottle body is inverted, the bottle body has an unfilled space that is not filled with the medicine powder. The bottle cap includes a cap body, a medicine delivery tube, and a gas delivery tube. The cap body covers the bottle body. The medicine delivery tube and the gas delivery tube extends into the cap body. The medicine delivery tube communicating with the bottle body the gas delivery tube inserted into the unfilled space of the bottle body. The gas supply member is connected to the gas delivery tube.
