OPHTHALMIC INJECTION DEVICE AND METHOD
An injection tool and associated methods are shown. Example tools and methods described provide cooling to numb a local area prior to an injection. The local numbing can be used to reduce or eliminate pain associated with the subsequent injection. In selected examples, circuitry and one or more sensors are used to calculate an appropriate contact time of a heat sink with the local region to best provide a desired amount of numbing.
Device and method for drug delivery
A therapeutic treatment device, system and method for improving administration of a temperature sensitive drug into a tissue on the body of a patient at a drug injection site are disclosed. The device includes a treatment element with a controllable heating element in temperature communicative contact with the tissue adjacent to the drug injection site. The controllable heating element is configured to heat the tissue adjacent to the drug injection site to a controllable temperature but does not heat the injected drug above a predetermined limiting temperature, above which degradation of the injected drug may occur.

Intravenous fluid warmer using uniform thermal field
A heating cabinet for IV bags provides a uniform thermal field promoted by circulated heated air passing through air permeable shelves. Temperatures of the IV bags are modeled through a knowledge of a temperature of the uniform thermal field and arrival time of the IV bags eliminating a need for separate temperature sensors and control loops. Bag status may be signaled through modulated light distinguishable by individuals with limited color sensitivity. Signals are associated with particular IV bags by projecting the light of the signals into the IV bags themselves.

INJECTION DEVICES
The invention relates to an injection device which includes a handle and a guard which together enclose a movable cartridge which can contain liquid material to be injected, and further enclose a movable injector that includes a needle, the needle being attached to a housing where the housing is attached to the cartridge, the device also including a delivery mechanism whereby the needle is moved from a retracted to an extended position, and independently the volume of the chamber may be adjusted to expel the contents thereof through the needle and into a subject in need thereof. The injection device may be communicatively connected to a control unit so as to provide a dermal injection system.

Heater module for heater of fluid infusion apparatus and manufacturing method thereof
The present invention includes: a laminated structure of an insulation substrate; a resistance pattern laminated on one side of the insulation substrate with a pure metal or an alloy which is a mixture of two or more metals at a predetermined ratio and having a resistance value which is set by a pattern having a length and a cross-sectional area; a first insulator layer coated on an upper surface of the resistance pattern by a predetermined method to protect and insulate the resistance pattern; a conductor layer in which a metal material is deposited on the upper surface of the first insulator layer by a predetermined method; and a thin film protective layer deposited on the upper surface of the conductor layer to provide insulation from the conductor layer, waterproofing, corrosion resistance, and chemical resistance.
