Supply device for supplying pasty masses
The invention relates to a feeding apparatus for feeding pasty masses, in particular silicone, to an injection molding machine, having a pressing cylinder which receives the pasty mass, and a pressing plunger which is arranged axially in said pressing cylinder and presses the pasty mass out of a squeezing nozzle of the pressing cylinder. It is an object of the invention to avoid operational interruptions for cleaning work in the case of a feeding apparatus of this type and to avoid material losses within the feeding apparatus in the case of the successive use of different pasty masses. In order to achieve said object, the invention proposes that the pressing cylinder is configured as a cartridge (3) which contains the pasty mass, consists of a polymer, and can be inserted exchangeably into a supporting housing (2) which supports the cartridge on all sides and is connected to an axial actuating drive (5) for the pressing plunger (3d) which is situated in the cartridge.
MATERIAL SUPPLY DEVICE AND PLASTICIZING DEVICE
In a material supply device for supplying a material to a plasticizing unit that plasticizes the material to generate a plasticized material, the material supply device includes: a housing having an inlet through which the material is fed into the plasticizing unit, and configured to accommodate the material; and a supply mechanism provided in the housing, positioned above the inlet, and configured to intermittently supply the material to the inlet. The housing has an inclined wall that defines an accommodation space for the material above the supply mechanism and is inclined such that a volume of the accommodation space is reduced downward, and the supply mechanism at least partially overlaps the inclined wall when viewed from a vertical direction.
System for molding plastic materials
A material handling and mold filling system is provided which directs the flow of molten plastic material from an extruder and allocates the molten material to a plurality of nozzles through the use of independently operated, variable valves. The system therefore provides independent streams of molten plastic material having variable temperatures and flow rates or volumes to particular sections or regions of the mold. This independent temperature or flow of molten plastic material facilitates the complete, rapid and accurate filling of the molds, reducing turbulence and other temperature or flow-related imperfections in the finished components. A multiphase material handling system is also disclosed for expeditious sequential and simultaneous filling and pressing of the mold and extracting the completed component from the system.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DOSING OF A POWDER FOR THE ADDITIVE MANUFACTURE OF A PRODUCT
A device is provided for layered manufacture of at least a three-dimensional product by an additive manufacturing technique based on a powder. The invention therefore relates to a device for the layered manufacturer of a product based on a powder, in particular a metal powder.
This device is fitted with a build chamber with a vertically movable build platform on which said product is manufactured and contains a powder dispenser for application of the successive powder layers on the build platform in a horizontal build surface. The powder dispenser can be moved back and forth over the build surface along a horizontal dispensing direction in order to apply said powder layers.
Moreover, the device contains a hopper that must contain said powder in order to supply powder to the powder dispenser. This hopper has a bottom with a dosing opening that lets out into the build chamber and that works in combination with a dosing valve. More specifically, the dosing valve enables a measured quantity of powder to flow out of the hopper.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING DOSES
An apparatus includes:
a co-extrusion device for extruding a multi-layer structure having at least one primary layer and at least one secondary layer, so that the multi-layer structure leaves the co-extrusion device along an exit direction,
a mould provided with a pair of elements, at least one of the elements being movable towards the other in a moulding direction, so as to compression mould an object from a multi-layer dose which was severed from the multi-layer structure;
a transport device for carrying the dose towards the mould;
an arrangement for modifying orientation of the dose while the dose is being transported by the transport device, so that the dose is introduced into the mould with an orientation in which the secondary layer extends transversely to the moulding direction.
System for continuously processing pulverulent products
A system for continuously processing pulverulent products includes at least two system inlets for pulverulent products. A mixer is provided that continuously mixes the pulverulent products received at a mixer inlet into a product mixture that is dispensed at a mixer outlet. A production machine having a filling apparatus continuously processes the product mixture from the mixer outlet into end products dispensed at the machine outlet. A conveyor apparatus conveys the product mixture from the mixer outlet to the machine inlet. The conveyor apparatus includes a first fill level sensor that measures a product mixture fill level in the filling apparatus of the production machine and a second fill level measures a product mixture fill level in a conveyor reservoir. A control apparatus receives measurement data from the first fill level sensor and the second fill level sensor and controls at least one production parameter based on the measurement data.
System for continuously processing pulverulent products
A system for continuously processing pulverulent products includes at least two system inlets for pulverulent products. A mixer is provided that continuously mixes the pulverulent products received at a mixer inlet into a product mixture that is dispensed at a mixer outlet. A production machine having a filling apparatus continuously processes the product mixture from the mixer outlet into end products dispensed at the machine outlet. A conveyor apparatus conveys the product mixture from the mixer outlet to the machine inlet. The conveyor apparatus includes a first fill level sensor that measures a product mixture fill level in the filling apparatus of the production machine and a second fill level measures a product mixture fill level in a conveyor reservoir. A control apparatus receives measurement data from the first fill level sensor and the second fill level sensor and controls at least one production parameter based on the measurement data.

Method and apparatus for drying granular resin material by drawing vacuum over heating resin material in a vessel, while periodically purging the vessel with the material therein with dry air and bathing the vacuum dried material with dry air until furnished to a processing machine.
Composite Material Press Molding System and Kneader/Extruder Using Same
The present invention provides a kneader/extruder that is provided with a heating cylinder (16), a screw (17) housed in the heating cylinder (16) so as to be capable of rotation and forward/backward movement, and a die (18) attached to the tip of the heating cylinder (16), and generates a plastic compound (6) having a reinforcement fiber kneaded therein, said kneader/extruder being provided with a shutter member (19) that opens and closes a compound extrusion port (18a) provided in the die (18), and performing kneading and extrusion of the compound (6) intermittently. The shutter member (19) may be provided with a scraper (20) that scrapes the compound (6) off from the surface of the die (18). Due to this, this kneader/extruder can generate a one-press portion of the compound and can be easily maintained.
