COMPRESSION MOLDING DEVICE
20240116224 · 2024-04-11 · ·

A compression molding device compression-molds resin to a workpiece in which components are mounted on a carrier via connection members, and produces packages each having at least one component resin-sealed therein. The compression molding device comprises: a measuring part measuring the weight of the workpiece; a calculation part calculating the supply amount of the resin based on the weight of the workpiece measured by the measuring part; a supply part supplying the resin in the supply amount calculated by the calculation part; and a molding die for compression-molding, to the workpiece, the resin supplied by the supply part. The calculation part calculates the total volume of mounted objects, including the components and the connection members, based on the weight of the workpiece and calculates the supply amount of the resin based on the total volume of the mounted objects.

Method for molding plastic materials
10442119 · 2019-10-15 · ·

A method for material handling and mold filling is provided which directs the flow of molten plastic material from an extruder and allocates the molten material to a plurality of nozzles through the use of independently operated, variable valves. The method therefore provides independent streams of molten plastic material having variable temperatures and flow rates or volumes to particular sections or regions of the mold. This independent temperature or flow of molten plastic material facilitates the complete, rapid and accurate filling of the molds, reducing turbulence and other temperature or flow-related imperfections in the finished components. A method of using a multiphase material handling system is also disclosed for expeditious sequential and simultaneous filling and pressing of the mold and extracting the completed component from the system.

In a method for reprocessing film waste material, the film waste material is comminuted into recycling material by means of a comminuting device. The recycling material is fed by means of a feeding device in a multi-shaft screw machine. In the multi-shaft screw machine, the recycling material is plasticized into a material melt and processed into raw material. The raw material may again be fed to a production installation for the production of films.

IMPROVEMENTS IN OR RELATING TO INFUSION MOULDING

The invention relates to a resin infusion process wherein a curable flowing fluid resin composition is supplied to form a curable matrix around a fibrous reinforcement material, wherein the curable flowing fluid resin composition comprises a resin component (1) and an activator component (2), and at least one property of the curable flowing fluid resin composition is monitored prior to supply.

CONVEYING DEVICE FOR CONVEYING A VISCOUS MATERIAL FROM A CONTAINER, AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE CONVEYING DEVICE
20190184615 · 2019-06-20 ·

A conveying device for conveying a viscous material from a container includes a follower plate that can be inserted into the container, and a pump by means of which the viscous material can be conveyed through the follower plate. Moreover, a measuring chamber for accommodation of a measuring sample of the viscous material is provided. The measuring chamber includes a closable material inlet opening for this purpose. A closable disposal line leads away from the measuring chamber. Moreover, a closable material return line extends from the measuring chamber via the follower plate into the container. The conveying device also includes a controller that is designed and can be operated appropriately such that it determines the compressibility of each of multiple measuring samples. The controller opens the disposal line or the material return line to the measuring sample present in the measuring chamber as a function of the compressibility thus determined.

Feeding carriage for compressor machine and use of same

The invention relates to a feeding carriage for a compressor machine of the type having an upper filling end through which a particulate material which is to be compressed in a mold of the compressor machine is introduced, and a lower discharging end for discharging said particulate material towards said mold. At least some of the elements forming said feeding carriage can move with respect to one another, which thereby allows modifying the geometry of at least one of said lower discharging end, said upper filling end and an intermediate portion of the supply carriage located between both ends. The invention also relates to the use of such a feeding carriage comprising the initial steps of determining optimum carriage geometry for a particulate material which is to be compressed and applying said optimum carriage geometry to the feeding carriage.
