BLOOD FILTRATION SYSTEMS
A blood filtration system can reduce the amount of plasma constituents (e.g., water and/or electrolytes) in the blood of the patient, and accordingly increase the hematocrit value of the patient. The blood filtration system (e.g., a controller, or the like) can determine a hematocrit value of a patient. The blood filtration system can determine a venous pressure of vasculature of a patient. The blood filtration system can compensate for pressure head in a component of a blood circuit (e.g., a withdrawal line of a catheter), for example to improve the accuracy of the venous pressure determination. The blood filtration system can determine one or more resistance characteristics of a blood circuit for the blood filtration system. The resistance characteristics can correspond to a resistance to a flow of blood through a component of the blood circuit.
Systems and methods for autonomous intravenous needle insertion
Systems and methods for autonomous intravenous needle insertion are disclosed herein. In an embodiment, a system for autonomous intravenous insertion include a robot arm, one or more sensors pivotally attached to the robot arm for gathering information about potential insertion sites in a subject arm, a medical device pivotally attached to the robot arm, and a controller in communication with the sensors and the robot arm, wherein the controller receives the information from the sensors about potential insertion sites, and the controller selects a target insertion site and directs the robot arm to insert the medical device into the target insertion site.

In being fastened to the bottle, the restraints enable convenient drying and storage of the syringe and the separated plunger. Other embodiments are described and shown.
ARM SUPPORT FOR INTRAVENOUS MEDICAL TREATMENTS
An arm support for intravenous medical treatments includes an arm support portion having a first surface and a second surface that defines a rigid support receiving zone. The first surface includes a cushioned section. At least one strap member is secured to the arm support portion. A rigid support member is positioned at the second surface at the rigid support receiving zone.

Arm restraint for IV site stabtility
The invention relates to an upper extremity restraint which uses moveable non-adhesive restraint strappings and a reversible rigid platform, which enables a caregiver to ensure the patient's secure upper limb positioning for intravenous site maintenance. The present invention also includes an upper extremity restraint which uses parallel openings in the backbone restraint, which enable the immobilization of the upper limb through use of tie down restraining to prevent formation of hematomas or other types of patient injury caused by IV catheter site interruption or displacement.
