Skin treatment apparatus
An electrical skin treating appliance has an elongate hollow polymeric housing with front and rear portions. The front portion contains a reservoir for receiving and containing water. The rear portion has one or more controls. The housing contains an ultrasonic mist generator for converting the water into a fine mist and dispersing the mist from the housing. A sonically-vibratory spatula extends from the housing at a junction of the front and rear portions and is adapted to scrape the outermost surface of a user's skin. The housing contains an oscillation generator for selectively causing ultrasonic vibration of the spatula, and the one or more controls are adapted for selectively energizing, only one at a time, the mist generator and the oscillation generator.
COMBINING ELECTRONIC MONITORING WITH INHALED PHARMACOLOGICAL THERAPY TO MANAGE CARDIAC ARRHYTHMIAS INCLUDING ATRIAL FIBRILLATION
Disclosed herein are methods of treating cardiac arrhythmia with electronic monitoring in a timely manner. Also disclosed herein are systems for electronic monitoring of cardiac arrhythmia.
Liquid drug cartridges and associated dispenser
Liquid drug cartridges and an associated inhaler are used to deliver one more separate doses of an aerosolized liquid drug. A cartridge includes a container for storing the liquid drug, an end cap having an ejection opening, a filter element, and a piston that is repositionable relative to the container to selectively eject a volume of liquid drug from the ejection opening. The filter element filters the liquid drug prior to ejection from the ejection opening. The liquid drug cartridge can be coupled with an inhaler that includes an aerosol generator. The aerosol generator includes a vibratable membrane onto which the liquid drug is ejected. The liquid drug is aerosolized by the vibration of the membrane for inhalation by a user.
Nebuliser device
A nebuliser device with a vibrating mesh, for administering medicaments, includes a casing, a nozzle, a nebuliser and a chamber that houses a medicament. The chamber housing a medicament is a disposable capsule forming an independent body that can be extracted from the casing of the device. The disposable capsule includes a connector for attaching to the nebuliser and to the casing. The connector allow the disposable capsule to be coupled to the nebuliser device or uncoupled therefrom.
Olfactory Delivery Device, System and Method for the Delivery of a Variety of Pharmaceutical Agents
A nasal delivery system having a device that delivers a mist containing a pharmaceutical agent for delivery to a nasal cavity. The pharmaceutical agent in a liquid is in a micronized form with a particle size less than 5-microns that permeates a plurality of nasal membranes in a nasal cavity, crossing the blood brain barrier and entering the brain through cranial nerves. A route of administration of micronized liquid containing cannabinoids and terpenes using the device temporarily permeate the olfactory membranes to the olfactory and trigeminal nerves as well as permeate vascular rich olfactory pathway, thereby increasing diffusion of the therapeutic compounds into the cells that pass through the blood brain barrier for immediate effect, allowing inhalation while avoiding lung involvement. The device is manually controlled or preferably by an app on a mobile device.
FLUID RESERVOIR FOR AN AEROSOL GENERATOR AND AEROSOL GENERATOR COMPRISING THE FLUID RESERVOIR
The invention relates to a fluid reservoir (2) for an aerosol generator (50), the fluid reservoir (2) comprising a fluid chamber (4) for receiving a fluid (6), an opening (8) for guiding the fluid (6) received in the fluid chamber (4) outside the fluid chamber (4), and a collar portion (10) surrounding the opening (8) and extending into the fluid chamber (4). A first portion (12) of the fluid chamber (4) extends along the length of the collar portion (10) in a height direction (H) of the fluid chamber (4), A second portion (14) of the fluid chamber (4) is arranged adjacent to the first portion (12) in the height direction (H) of the fluid chamber (4). A lateral extension of the first portion (12) in the directions perpendicular to the height direction (H) of the fluid chamber (4) is smaller than a lateral extension of the second portion (14) in the directions perpendicular to the height direction (H) of the fluid chamber (4). Further, the invention relates to a fluid reservoir (2′) for an aerosol generator (50), the fluid reservoir (2′) comprising a fluid chamber (4′) for receiving a fluid (6′), an opening (8′) for guiding the fluid (6′) received in the fluid chamber (4′) outside the fluid chamber (4′), a recess (9) arranged at least partly below the opening (8!) in a height direction (H) of the fluid chamber (4′), and a cover member (30′) which releasably or permanently seals the recess (9). Moreover, the invention relates to an aerosol generator (50) comprising the fluid reservoir (2, 2′).
CARTRIDGE FOR AN AEROSOL DELIVERY SYSTEM
A cartridge for an aerosol delivery system. The cartridge includes a fluid reservoir including a first reservoir portion, a second reservoir portion, and at least one liquid barrier configured to separate the first and second reservoir portions. The first and second reservoir portions have respective first and second openings at a first end of the cartridge. The cartridge further includes a perforate membrane located at the first end of the cartridge and over the first and second openings. The first and second openings are configured to supply first and second liquids to a first side of the perforate membrane during use and the perforate membrane comprises a plurality of apertures configured to eject one or both of the first and second liquids from a second side of the perforate membrane in the form of liquid droplets when the perforate membrane is vibrated. An aerosol delivery system includes the cartridge.
Multi-Functional Integrated Skin Beauty Device
A multi-functional integrated skin beauty device according to the present invention is formed by comprising a mist treatment part generating sterilization water by electrolyzing water in a water tank and spraying the generated sterilization water in a mist shape, a temperature stimulation treatment part applying a temperature stimulation to skin, an EP treatment part applying an electric signal to an EP electrode; and a light treatment part outputting a light for skin care. A housing forming an exterior appearance of the multi-functional integrated skin beauty device includes a pillar-type handle part graspable by a user with one hand, and a first head part and a second head part protruded from an upper end of the handle part toward both lateral surfaces.
