DEPOSITION MASK AND MANUFACTURING METHOD
It comprises: a film made of a resin in which an aperture pattern is formed, the aperture pattern passing through the film, the aperture being with a shape and dimension corresponding to the thin-film pattern in a pre-established region for formation of the thin-film pattern on the substrate; and a metal member that has an aperture part opposite the aperture pattern with a shape and dimension larger than the aperture pattern, the metal member being provided as a thin sheet in intimate contact with one surface of the film on an outside part of the aperture pattern of the film. The film is mutually distanced and distributed, at a position where the film does not overlap the aperture pattern, into a plurality of divided parts on one surface of the metal member.
Methods for producing three-dimensional objects with apparatus having feed channels
A method of forming a three-dimensional object, wherein said three-dimensional object is an insert for use between a helmet and a human body, is described. The method may use a polymerizable liquid, or resin, useful for the production by additive manufacturing of a three-dimensional object, comprising a mixture of (i) a light polymerizable liquid first component, and (ii) a second solidifiable component that is different from said first component.
CUSHIONING ELEMENT AND SHOE
Described are methods for manufacturing a plastic component, in particular a cushioning element for sports apparel, a plastic component manufactured with such methods, for example a sole or a part of a sole for a shoe, and a shoe with such a sole. The method for the manufacture of a plastic component includes loading a mold with a first material includes particles of an expanded material and fusing the surfaces of the particles by supplying energy. The energy is supplied in the form of at least one electromagnetic field.
METHOD OF LAYERWISE FABRICATION OF A THREE-DIMENSIONAL OBJECT
A method of layerwise fabrication of a three-dimensional object is disclosed. The method comprises, for each of at least a few of the layers: dispensing at least a first modeling formulation and a second modeling formulation to form a core region using both the first and the second modeling formulations, and at least one envelope region at least partially surrounding the core region using one of the first and the second modeling formulations but not the other one of the first and the second modeling formulations. The method can also comprise exposing the layer to curing energy. The first modeling formulation is characterized, when hardened, by heat deflection temperature (HDT) of at least 90° C., and the second modeling formulation is characterized, when hardened, by Izod impact resistance (IR) value of at least 45 J/m.
Method For Producing a Moldable, Thermoplastic, Continuous Fiber Reinforced Composite Structure, Moldable Composite Structure, and Device For Producing Same
The invention is characterized by a semifinished composite structure product with the at least two layers, of which the at least one layer, in which the continuous fibers are contained, is heated such that the matrix of thermoplastic material is heated within at least one first surface region to or above a melting temperature that can be assigned to the thermoplastic material, and the matrix of thermoplastic material is kept to a temperature below the melting temperature within a second surface region directly adjoining the first surface region. The semifinished composite structure product is heated in this way so that the moldable thermoplastic, continuous fiber-reinforced composite structure in which the continuous fibers within the first surface region are movable relative to each other and those within the second surface region are spatially fixed relative to each other.
ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING DEVICES AND METHODS
In the embodiments of the present disclosure, additive manufacturing devices and methods are provided. The additive manufacturing device includes a light source, a building device, and a light scattering member. The light source is configured to provide light to cure photocurable resins. The building device includes a resin tank configured to store the photocurable resins. The building device has a building surface on which the photocurable resins are cured. The light scattering member is arranged between the light source and the building surface. The light scattering member is configured to alter a light propagation direction of the light from the light source to cause an inner-pixel light intensity change on the building surface.
Articulating crack curing lamp and method
A curing lamp apparatus mounts to a work surface with a suction cup. A base is mounted to the suction cup and defines a hinge point for a first bar. At a distal end of the first bar, a second bar is hingedly mounted to the first bar. A first lamp element is hingedly mounted to one end of the second bar. A second lamp element is hingedly mounted to a second end of the second bar. The first and second lamp elements are positionable in a variety of positions to follow the path of a crack in a surface to be repaired. The lamp elements are also foldable into a storage position.
Device and method for the repair of laminated autoglass
A device and method for expediting the repair of laminated automobile glass, comprising a supporting bridge removably mountable to a windshield surface over a damaged area, with a receptacle for receiving an injector or dispenser for UV curable repair resin, and guide means between said bridge and dispenser comprised of a guide pin and a guide groove with linear and helical portions. The resin dispenser can be quickly aligned, inserted into place and sealed against the windshield with only a partial twist. The dispenser includes a manually operable plunger which partially defines an expandable chamber to hold UV curable repair resin and provide a means of controllably applying vacuum or pressure to the resin and damaged cavity, valve means to allow selectable control of air to be released from or allowed into said chamber to facilitate creation and application of vacuum or pressure, further including means to lock the plunger in multiple selectable positions to maintain applied vacuum or pressure.
