APPARATUS FOR TAKING OUT MOLDED PRODUCT
There is provided an apparatus for taking out a molded product, the apparatus being capable of suppressing displacement vibration of an attachment mounted at a leading end of an approach frame by means of active control using an electromagnetic actuator that has necessary power. One or more electromagnetic actuators are disposed at a portion of the approach frame, positioned opposite to the attachment with respect to a movable base. An active vibration suppressing system suppresses the displacement vibration of the attachment by causing the one or more electromagnetic actuators to generate a vibration in the same phase as the displacement vibration of the attachment.
AUTOMATED RUBBER MOLDING AND DE-MOLDING
Molded rubber objects may be molded and de-molded by defining both a desired final form for the molded rubber object and a tab extending from the final form of the molded rubber object using a cavity in a mold. Rubber pellets may be dispensed in predetermined amounts at desired location(s) within the cavity to provide the rubber needed to form the molded rubber object. Heat and pressure may be applied to the mold to cause the rubber pellets to fill the cavity defining both the desired final form of the molded rubber object and the tab. After the heat and pressure has been applied, a gripping device may grasp the tab and move the tab in a direction and with sufficient force to peel the rubber object from the mold cavity. If desired, the tab may be removed from the molded rubber object.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING CONTACT LENSES
The invention provides a method producing contact lenses, comprising the step of: separating the mold into the male and female mold halves, with the silicone hydrogel contact lens adhered on one of the male and female mold halves; bring a shaped ultrasonic horn in direct contact with at least one area of a non-optical surface of the female mold half or the male mold half having the molded silicone hydrogel contact lens attached thereon; and applying a ultrasonic vibrational energy to the at least one area of the non-optical surface of the female mold half or the male mold half having the molded silicone hydrogel contact lens attached thereon so as to separate the molded silicone hydrogel contact lens from the mold half attached thereon.
MOLDING SYSTEM PROVIDED WITH MOLDING MACHINE AND MOLDED ARTICLE REMOVAL DEVICE
A molding system capable of performing highly accurate work on a molded article with a molded article removal device. The molding system includes a molding machine, a molded article removal device capable of removing a master work installed in a mold of the molding machine, a measurement section configured to measure a position of the master work when the master work is removed by the molded article removal device, a displacement calculation section configured to calculate a difference between a reference position and a detected position of the master work measured by the measurement section as a displacement, and a correction section configured to, on the basis of the displacement calculated by the displacement calculation section, correct a work position for when the molded article removal device performs work on a molded article.
Automated rubber molding and de-molding

Post-mold system
Disclosed herein, amongst other things, is a post-mold system (100, 200, 300, 400, 500) for conditioning a molded article (130). The post-mold system comprises a retrieval device (110, 210, 310, 410, 510) having a receptacle (112, 212, 312, 412, 512) that is configured to retrieve the molded article (130) from a mold (132) and a conditioning device (120, 320, 420, 520). The receptacle (112, 212, 312, 412, 512) is configured to be selectively transferable between the retrieval device (110, 210, 310, 410, 510) and the conditioning device (120, 320, 420, 520). The conditioning device (120, 320, 420, 520) includes a first thermal regulator (140, 240, 440) that is configured to thermally regulate the receptacle (112, 212, 312, 412, 512) when connected thereto.

SYSTEM, METHOD, AND TOOL ASSEMBLY FOR REMOVING A COMPONENT FROM A MANDREL ASSEMBLY
A component-removal tool assembly is configured to remove a component from a mandrel assembly, and may include a main frame, and a plurality of rotational input devices extending from the main frame. Each rotational input device may be operatively coupled to a respective plunger that is configured to be actuated against a portion of the mandrel assembly. A synchronizing link synchronously couples the rotational input devices together. The synchronizing link operates to synchronize movement of the plurality of rotational input devices. Movement of one or more of the rotational input devices causes the plungers coupled thereto to exert a uniform and consistent disconnecting force against the mandrel assembly.
