An aerosol generation device includes an internal clock, a communication interface, and a controller. The controller is configured to record one or more events and apply one or more internal timestamps respectively to the one or more events, the one or more initial timestamps relative to an initial internal time point; receive, by the communication interface, a present external time point; update the internal clock from a present internal time point, relative to the initial internal time point, to the present external time point; and adjust the one or more internal timestamps respectively to one or more external timestamps based upon the difference between the present internal time point and the present external time point.

The present invention relates to an aerosol-generating device (1) for generating an aerosol by dispersing an aerosol-forming powder (31) into an airflow. The device comprises a device housing (2) which comprises an airflow passage therethrough and which is configured to receive a capsule (30) that contains the aerosol-forming powder to be discharged into the airflow passage. The device further comprises a magnetic actuator (40) which is configured to generate a movement of the capsule when being received in the device housing for de-agglomerating the aerosol-forming powder within the capsule. The invention further relates to an aerosol-generating system comprising an aerosol-generating device according to the invention and an aerosol-forming powder containing capsule for use with the aerosol-generating device.

A contained liquid system for use with a refillable aerosol delivery device is provided. The contained liquid system includes an aerosol delivery device having an adapter therein for receiving aerosol precursor composition within a reservoir of the aerosol delivery device, and a container of aerosol precursor composition having a corresponding adapter therein for transferring aerosol precursor composition from the container. The adapter and the corresponding adapter are removably, sealably connectable for refilling the aerosol delivery device with aerosol precursor composition. The adapter engages a valve of the corresponding adapter and includes a body defining separate and distinct filling airflow ports. The filling port transfers aerosol precursor composition from the container into the aerosol delivery device. The airflow port enables a flow of air through at least the portion of the aerosol delivery device when the adapter and valve are disengaged.

An electrolytic gas suction tool includes: a battery; a control substrate which controls power supply from the battery; a pair of positive and negative electrodes which are electrically conducted to or cut off from a positive electrode and a negative electrode of the battery by the control substrate; an electrolysis tank which is capable of storing water and into a lower part of which the pair of positive and negative electrodes are inserted in the mounted state; and a heater device which is heated to generate nicotine containing steam upon receiving the power supply from the battery by the control substrate.

A pulmonary delivery device (300) with a first chamber (206) adapted to thermally vaporise a quantity of a first fluid to form a relatively warm first vapour and a second chamber (208) adapted to atomize a quantity of a second fluid without heating of the second fluid to form a mist of a relatively cold, second vapour, the device further comprising an outlet via which, in use, a user can inhale a mixture of the first and second vapours. A system includes a converter configured to electrically couple to a power source and to a heating element of a vaporizer atomizer. The converter can be further configured to receive a first voltage from the power source and provide a second voltage to the heating element. The converter can be a direct-current to direct-current converter. A power monitor configured to electrically couple to the heating element, measure a current through the heating element, measure a voltage over the heating element, calculate a power and/or resistance, and output a control signal to the converter. The converter can be configured to be controlled by the control signal to vary the second voltage to maintain a target power or a target temperature over the heating element. The adaptor has a nozzle and a sealing mechanism to maintain pressure therein regardless of whether the nozzle is inserted into the adaptor. In some embodiments, the heat-not-burn article may comprise: an inner core comprising at least one compressed rod of cannabis-based material; and an outer sheath comprising a sheet of plant-based material, the outer sheath receiving the inner core therein. The heat-not-burn articles may be heated without combustion to generate an inhalable aerosol and/or vapor, thereby reducing or eliminating undesirable byproducts typically associated with smoke.
