SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR INTERNAL THREAD FORMING IN COMPOSITE MATERIALS
Systems for defining an internally threaded bore in a composite material component include one or more thread forming tools each defining a thread forming portion and a locating fixture configured to hold the one or more thread forming tools in a predetermined configuration defining a pattern of internally threaded bores to be provided in the composite material component. The thread forming portions include a plurality of thread forming surfaces each defining a pitch, a crest fillet radius, and a root fillet radius, and define internally threaded bores having an interior helical thread defining a plurality of full crest radii and a plurality of full root radii. A component forming fixture is provided for abutting the locating fixture whereby the one or more thread forming tools are held in an interior of the forming fixture. Methods for forming composite material components having internally threaded bores using the described systems are described.

Systems for defining an internally threaded bore in a composite material component include one or more thread forming tools each defining a thread forming portion and a locating fixture configured to hold the one or more thread forming tools in a predetermined configuration defining a pattern of internally threaded bores to be provided in the composite material component. The thread forming portions include a plurality of thread forming surfaces each defining a pitch, a crest fillet radius, and a root fillet radius, and define internally threaded bores having an interior helical thread defining a plurality of full crest radii and a plurality of full root radii. A component forming fixture is provided for abutting the locating fixture whereby the one or more thread forming tools are held in an interior of the forming fixture. Methods for forming composite material components having internally threaded bores using the described systems are described.

APPARATUS AND PROCESS FOR FORMING A MEMENTO FROM CREMATION REMAINS
An apparatus and a process for forming a 3D object from the remains of a cremated deceased person or a pet. One method is to mix the cremated remains with a bonding agent such as a resin into a mold having the shape of the desired 3D image. Another method is to use a 3D printing process to print the 3D object using the cremated remains as the powder in the printing process. Once the 3D object is formed, it can be painted to resemble the person or pet in which the cremated remains is used to form the object.

Provided are a mold case that prevents deformation of a microneedle array, and a manufacturing method of a microneedle array. The problems are solved by the manufacturing method of a microneedle array including: a filling step of filling needle-like recessed portions of a mold having flexibility and having a plurality of the needle-like recessed portions on a front surface, with a liquid material; and a drying step of drying the liquid material in a state where the mold filled with the liquid material is stored in the mold case which causes an edge portion of the mold to be sandwiched between the lid and the pedestal.

Methods and apparatuses for casting polymer products
In an example method of forming a waveguide part having a predetermined shape, a photocurable material is dispensed into a space between a first mold portion and a second mold portion opposite the first mold portion. A relative separation between a surface of the first mold portion with respect to a surface of the second mold portion opposing the surface of the first mold portion is adjusted to fill the space between the first and second mold portions. The photocurable material in the space is irradiated with radiation suitable for photocuring the photocurable material to form a cured waveguide film so that different portions of the cured waveguide film have different rigidity. The cured waveguide film is separated from the first and second mold portions. The waveguide part is singulated from the cured waveguide film. The waveguide part corresponds to portions of the cured waveguide film having a higher rigidity than other portions of the cured waveguide film.
Methods and apparatuses for casting polymer products
In an example method of forming a waveguide part having a predetermined shape, a photocurable material is dispensed into a space between a first mold portion and a second mold portion opposite the first mold portion. A relative separation between a surface of the first mold portion with respect to a surface of the second mold portion opposing the surface of the first mold portion is adjusted to fill the space between the first and second mold portions. The photocurable material in the space is irradiated with radiation suitable for photocuring the photocurable material to form a cured waveguide film so that different portions of the cured waveguide film have different rigidity. The cured waveguide film is separated from the first and second mold portions. The waveguide part is singulated from the cured waveguide film. The waveguide part corresponds to portions of the cured waveguide film having a higher rigidity than other portions of the cured waveguide film.

The present invention relates to a mould (1) for kids for making jewelry from a granular water-sensitive product, comprising: —a hollow body (2) having an opening (3) defining a respective forming zone; —a first element (4) combined with the hollow body (2) for closing-opening the opening (3) at a first side of the forming zone; —a second element (5) combined with the hollow body (2) for closing, and possibly opening, the opening (3) at a second side of the forming zone; wherein at least one among the hollow body (2), the first element (4) and the second element (5) comprises a plurality of holes (6) which are open in the forming zone, such that the forming zone is fluidically communicating with the environment outside of the mould (1).
