Composite-material molding method and molding device
A composite material molding method is provided for forming a composite material. The molding includes disposing a reinforcing base material in a cavity inside an openable and closable mold, injecting resin into the cavity in a state in which a clamping pressure is exerted on the mold and curing the resin. When injecting the resin into the cavity, the injection pressure of the resin is adjusted between a first pressure that is higher than the clamping pressure and a second pressure that is lower than the clamping pressure, and the injection pressure of the resin is lowered from the pressure that is higher than the clamping pressure to the pressure that is lower than the clamping pressure at least once. The resin is thereby injected such that the pressure inside the cavity does not exceed the clamping pressure from the start of injection to the end of injection of the resin.
Automated crayon melting and molding device, method, and system
Embodiments of the invention are directed to an automated crayon-molding device comprising a crayon-receiving member, an automated heating element, a crayon-melting chamber that is heated to a melting temperature by the automated heating element, and at least one mold. The crayon-receiving member receives the crayon at one end and has a closure mechanism at another held, preventing the crayon from entering in the crayon-melting chamber until it reaches a melting temperature. Once the inside of the crayon-melting chamber, the crayon melts and drips into a mold configured to receive melted wax. Embodiments of the invention also include a method for assembling an automated crayon-molding device and a system for molding crayons that includes a crayon-receiving member, an automated heating element, a crayon-melting chamber, a drawer positioned underneath the crayon-melting chamber, and at least one mold.

METHOD FOR MOLDING COMPOSITE MATERIAL AND DEVICE FOR MOLDING COMPOSITE MATERIAL
A method for molding a composite material and a device for molding a composite material are provided which are able to suppress the occurrence of voids in a composite material and improve the mechanical characteristics and appearance quality of the composite material. In the method for molding a composite material (10), a seal region (270) including a cavity (250) in which a reinforcing base material (11) is disposed and an outer peripheral region (260) that communicates with an outer periphery of the cavity is air-tightly sealed by means of a first sealing member (310). Then, an operation of suctioning a gas from the outer peripheral region to evacuate the gas in the seal region is started, and a resin (12) is injected into a part of the cavity. Next, a mold (200) is clamped to provide a liquid-tight seal between the cavity and the outer peripheral region by means of a second sealing member (320) while pressing the resin to fill the cavity with the resin. After that, the operation of suctioning the gas from the outer peripheral region is stopped.

Method of filling a microcavity with layers of polymeric material
A method of filling a microcavity with layers of a polymer material includes the following steps: (A) estimating a current vertical position of a bottom of the microcavity (current bottom position); (B) lowering the capillary tube into the microcavity towards the current bottom position; (C) dispensing a polymer composition from a tube outlet of the capillary tube under a dispensing applied pressure until the polymer composition substantially fills the microcavity; (D) curing a work piece including the microcavity and the polymer composition in the microcavity to obtain a current layer of the polymer material; and (E) repeatedly executing steps (A), (B), (C), and (D), until the layers of the polymer material have substantially filled the microcavity.
