Anti-Microbial Fiber Reinforced Plastic
In-aircraft seats include plastic components having anti-microbial, metallic reinforcing fibers such as copper or silver. Copper or silver wires are embedded into the plastic at the time or molding to provide both structural reinforcement and anti-microbial properties. At the time of molding, copper or silver wires are disposed in a plastic mold prior to plastic application to ensure the metallic wires are generally disposed toward the surface of the molded part.
METHOD FOR RETROFITTING A REGISTER BOX WITH AN EXPANDABLE POLYMERIC FOAM MATERIAL
A method of insulating a register box in which the register box has a body and a duct. The method includes accessing the register box such that the interior of the register box can be reached, removing existing insulation from the interior of the body of the register box, injecting an expandable polymeric material into the interior of the body of the register box, and allowing the expandable polymeric material to cure for a period of time. The opening of the duct of the register box is blocked during the step of curing. The step of injecting includes inserting a foam gun into an interior of the body of the register box and directing the expandable polymeric material from the foam gun toward a wall of the body of the register box.

Catheter and method of manufacture
The instant invention relates generally to introducer catheters used to help deliver catheters or other medical devices to locations within the human body. In particular, the instant invention relates to large diameter introducer catheters (introducer catheters with lumens greater than about 6 French) having increased strength, flexibility, and kink resistance. Introducer catheters according to the teachings herein may also include curved distal ends and flared (that is, funnel-like) transition sections within their lumens.

Method for forming a mud motor stator
A method of forming a mud motor stator having a passage including a first end defining a first opening, a second end defining a second opening and an intermediate portion extending therebetween includes introducing a liner material into the passage at one of the first end and the second end of the stator, inserting a mandrel having a contoured surface into the passage through one of the first end and the second end of the stator, shifting one of the mandrel and the stator relative to the other of the mandrel and the stator, and flowing the liner material over the contoured surface of the mandrel from the one of the first and second ends toward the other of the first and second ends to form a liner on the inner surface of the passage.

Substrate including nano/micro structure, method for manufacturing the same, method for refining nano/micro structure, method for manufacturing nano/micro structure network, and manufacturing apparatus therefor
Provided is a manufacturing method for a substrate having a microstructure. The manufacturing method for a substrate having a microstructure comprises the steps of: forming a microstructure on the upper surface of an auxiliary substrate; coating a base solution on the microstructure; forming a base substrate covering the microstructure by heattreating the base solution; and removing the auxiliary substrate from the base substrate.
