METHOD FOR PRODUCING DIP-MOLDED ARTICLE
A method for producing a dip-molded article, the method including steps of immersing a mold for dip molding in a coagulant solution to deposit the coagulant on the mold for dip molding; providing a latex composition containing a carboxy-modified conjugated diene polymer latex which is a dispersion of carboxy-modified conjugated diene polymer particles having a volume average particle size of 500 to 2,000 nm in water; and immersing the mold for dip molding having the coagulant deposited thereon in the latex composition to obtain a dip-molded article having a thickness of 0.02 to 0.19 mm.
Method for micromolding a polymeric membrane having a pore array
A method for micro-molding a polymeric membrane and including pouring a predetermined volume of curable polymer unto a micro-fabricated mold having a post array with pillars, and overlaying the polymer with a support substrate. A spacer, such as a rubber spacer, is placed in contact with the support substrate and a force is applied to an exposed side of the spacer to compress the support substrate and the polymer together. While applying the force, the polymer is cured on the mold for a predetermined time period and at a predetermined temperature to form a polymeric membrane having a pore array with a plurality of pores corresponding to the plurality of pillars of the post array. The polymeric membrane is removed from the support substrate.

METHOD OF FABRICATING A CASTING
A method of fabricating a casting, the method including applying a substrate to a sacrificial mold, the sacrificial mold including a shaped non-planar receiving surface to receive the substrate and provide a casting of the substrate having a shaped structure corresponding to the receiving surface; and subjecting the sacrificial mold and casting to freeze drying conditions and sublimating the sacrificial mold from the casting to form a cast article including the shaped non-planar structure.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING A NANOSTRUCTURED OR MICROSTRUCTURED FOIL BY EXTRUSION COATING OR EXTRUSION CASTING
A method for extrusion coating or extrusion casting, a polymer sheet (4, 5) produced thereby, a roller (2) for use in extrusion coating or extrusion casting, and an apparatus comprising said roller (2), in which micro- and/or nanostructures provided on the surface of the roller (2) are transferred to the polymer sheet (4, 5), and which is applicable to the extrusion coating or extrusion casting of all types of thermoplastic polymer.
APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING THIN-WALLED BODIES OF REVOLUTION
The technical solution relates to the field of processing polymers and can be used in various branches of the national economy for manufacturing hollow articles of the bodies-of-revolution type (tubes), and in particular for manufacturing semifinished biodegradable polymeric stents which are usable in medicine for replacing hollow organs, for example blood vessels. The apparatus for manufacturing thin-walled bodies of revolution comprises a heatable expander which is mounted rotatably about a longitudinal axis, and a feeder for supplying mouldable material, said feeder being mounted above the expander so as to be movable therealong, wherein the lower part of the feeder is heatable, the expander is hollow with a reflective internal surface, and the heater of the expander is in the form of a laser, the radiation of which is transported into the expander. The use of the apparatus will make it possible to reduce the thermal action on a polymer when producing semi-finished articles with defined geometrical dimensions from polymeric materials.

Apparatus and method for producing a biocompatible three-dimensional object
An apparatus for making a biocompatible three-dimensional object including at least one delivery unit arranged to deliver at least one biocompatible fluid substance towards a support body having a matrix surface to obtain a coating layer of a predetermined thickness configured for coating the matrix surface. Furthermore, a handling unit is provided arranged to provide a relative movement according to at least 3 degrees of freedom between the support body and each delivery unit. The support body is arranged to be coated by the delivered biocompatible fluid substance, in order to obtain a three-dimensional object having an object surface copying the matrix surface of the support body.
