Method and apparatus for forming a non-pneumatic tire carcass

This disclosure includes methods and apparatus for forming a non-pneumatic tire carcass comprising an inner hub, an outer band, and a plurality of spokes. The method includes arranging the inner hub, the plurality of spokes, and the outer band to form a curing assembly arranged in a first arrangement within a forming apparatus, where the inner hub is arranged concentrically within a radially inner annular side of the outer band and the plurality of spokes are arranged between the outer band and the inner hub. The plurality of spokes are forced in opposite radial directions from the first arrangement and to a second arrangement, where each spoke of the plurality of spokes is forced in a curing position against the inner hub and towards the outer band in a curing arrangement. The plurality of spokes are then cured to each of the inner hub and outer band.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING A GUIDING ROD FOR A PUMP
20190366376 · 2019-12-05 ·

The invention relates to a method for producing a guiding rod for a pump for dispensing a fluid product. The rod includes a cylindrical body surmounted by a head. The method a plastic injection molding step to form the cylindrical rod. The method also includes a step of correcting the shape of an upper end of the rod so as to form the head by creating a shoulder at the level of the junction between the head of rod and body.

PUNCH FOR COMPRESSION MOLDS
20190291311 · 2019-09-26 ·

A punch for the compression molding of plastic material for forming capsules for containers closure, wherein the punch includes a stem portion made of steel and a head portion made of copper alloy screwed to the stem portion, wherein a separation interface between the stem portion and head portion includes a passage for gas that reaches a bottom surface of the punch delimitating one forming cavity where the compression molding of the plastic material occurs, and wherein one channel internal to the head portion communicates with the passage for gas to enable extraction of gas out of the forming cavity.

Cocopeat Based Substrate and Its Manufacturing Method
20240180089 · 2024-06-06 ·

A cocopeat substrate and its manufacturing method, includes the steps of: (a) mixing raw materials, part by mass, of 70-75 parts of cocopeat, 0-0.5 parts of pH regulator, 0-0.5 parts of rooting agent, 25-30 parts of modified diisocyanate and 20-35 parts of water uniformly by a mixer to form a premixed material; (b) immediately filling the premixed material into a mold and carrying out hot press curing to obtain a cured cocopeat substrate; and (c) drying with hot air to remove excess moisture, and then air cooling under room condition. The cocopeat substrate has an EC value less than or equal to 1.0, a pH value of 5.0-6.5, a porosity of 80-85%, and a density of 0.18-0.25g/cm.sup.3. The cocopeat substrate has a truncated pyramid structure and a planting hole functioning as a natural planting pot with slow natural decomposition rate, readily for use directly for growing seedlings.

Golf ball with RFID inlay between a split core

A compressible core with an RFID tag is described. The compressible core comprises an RFID integrated circuit, and an inlay material sandwiched between a top hemisphere and a bottom hemisphere. The RFID integrated circuit includes a memory that stores a unique identifier. The inlay material includes an RFID antenna electrically coupled to the RFID integrated circuit. The top hemisphere of the compressible core is separated from the bottom hemisphere of the compressible core. The inlay with the RFID antenna and the RFID integrated circuit placed between the top and bottom hemispheres. The top hemisphere, the inlay and the bottom hemisphere are joined together forming a compressible core. Additionally, the molded shell encapsulates the compressible core.

THERMOPLASTIC MATERIAL AND USE THEREOF IN THE PRODUCTION OF A CORK COMPOSITE MATERIAL

A thermoplastic material includes one or more thermoplastic polymers in the form of particles having a specified average particle size distribution (e.g., less than 1000 microns or another range) measured by mechanical sieving. Such thermoplastic material may be incorporated in a cork composite material that includes cork, such as in the form of cork particles. The thermoplastic material and cork may be used to produce an article of manufacture, such as a closure for a product retaining container, the closure being constructed for being inserted and securely retained in a portal-forming neck of said container.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING CORK STOPPER AND CORK STOPPER

An objective of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a cork stopper by compression molding cork grains, which can provide a cork stopper excellent in sealability and safety. There is provided a method for producing a cork stopper, comprising: mixing cork grains and an adhesive; compression molding the mixture to give an intermediate; and then heating the intermediate to expand the cork grains.

Device and method for producing microstructures

A device for producing microstructures, particularly microneedles and more particularly microneedle arrays, including a female mold that has, on a top side, at least one in particular conical depressed portion for producing a microstructure. The female mold is, for example, in the form of a silicone cap and is connected to a hollow cylinder, in particular via a holding element. A plunger is disposed movably inside the hollow cylinder.
