The elongated channel includes a suture channel having a first end and a second end, a first sloping surface that extends downwardly between the first end of the suture channel and the first end of the receiver die, and a second sloping surface that extends downwardly between the second end of the suture channel and the second end of the receiver die. The system includes an upper die having a top surface and a bottom surface that opposes the top surface of the receiver die. The system has an open die position in which the bottom surface of the upper die is spaced away from the top surface of the receiver die and a closed die position in which the bottom surface of the upper die is in contact with the top surface of the receiver die. A cutting element is coupled with the receiver die and the upper die.
DEVICES AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A T-SHAPED SEMIFINISHED PRODUCT FROM A MULTIPLY NON-CRIMP FABRIC
Devices and methods for producing a T-shaped semifinished product from a multiply non-crimp fabric with reinforcing fibers for a composite material. The product has a web and a flange. The device includes a web forming tool, with which a web portion of the non-crimp fabric is clamped in place, a forming tool, with which plies of a flange portion of the non-crimp fabric are split into two parts, a depositing device, with which a tube body is deposited on the flange portion formed into the flange, a holding tool, with which a clearance between the holding tool and the flange is formed, and a filling device, with which the tube body is filled with a gas such that the tube body fills the clearance and firmly holds the flange portion formed into the flange, and alternatively, a magnetic force can be generated between a sheet and the web forming tool.
MOWER CORD AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR MOWER CORD
A manufacturing method for a mower cord and including pressing a resin wire rod and plastically deforming at least part of the wire rod in an axis perpendicular direction. Work-hardening of a surface of the plastically deformed portion allows dramatic enhancement of mowing efficiency.
Gap filler roller assembly
Roller assembly for forming adjacent curved surfaces in a composite gap filler member includes a first roller supported by a first support member, a second roller supported by a second support member and a support including a surface. First roller and the second roller are in contact with one another and in contact with the surface. With rotation of the first roller about a third axis and with at least one of the first roller or second roller moved relative to the other such that the first roller maintains contact with the second roller and the first roller and the second roller maintain contact with the surface, such that the first roller, second roller and the surface form an aperture having a first curved side having a first radius adjacent to a second curved side having a second radius wherein the first radius and second radius are unequal.
Mower cord and manufacturing method for mower cord
The present invention relates to a manufacturing method for a mower cord and includes pressing a resin wire rod and plastically deforming at least part of the wire rod in an axis perpendicular direction. Work-hardening of a surface of the plastically deformed portion allows dramatic enhancement of mowing efficiency.
Sheet-like member forming method and apparatus
An insulating sheet is pushed into a first mold portion, and formed in a first shape along a shape of the first mold portion. The insulating sheet of the first shape inside the first mold portion is pushed into the second mold, and is deformed by a front mold portion, a front guide portion, and a bent convex portion of the front mold, and a rear mold portion and a rear guide portion of the rear mold, and is formed in a second shape. The insulating sheet of the second shape is inclined such that the front end portion overlaps the rear end portion in a first direction, and the width in a front-rear direction becomes narrower toward the front and the rear end portions. The insulating sheet inserted in the second mold and formed in the second shape is inserted into a slot of a stator core.
Decorative Sheet, Embossing Method And Embossing Die
A decorative sheet includes a base material and a plurality of concave portions. The plurality of concave portions are provided on a front face of the base material. In the concave portion, a depth direction coincides with a thickness direction of the base material. The plurality of concave portions includes a first concave portion and a second concave portion. The first concave portion includes a first concavo-convex pattern on a first inner surface of the first concave portion. The second concave portion does not include the first concavo-convex pattern on a second inner surface of the second concave portion.
Gap filler roller assembly
A roller assembly for forming adjacent curved surfaces in a composite gap filler member includes a first roller supported by a first support member wherein the first roller rotates relative to the first support member about a first axis of rotation. A second roller is supported by a second support member wherein the second roller rotates relative to the second support member about a second axis of rotation. First support member is rotatable about a third axis of rotation and the third axis of rotation extends in a direction transverse to the first axis of rotation. Second support member is rotatable about a fourth axis of rotation. The fourth axis of rotation extends in a direction transverse to the second axis of rotation.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MAKING RADIUS COMPOSITE GAP FILLER
A die assembly for forming a composite gap filler, including a first die having a first portion which extends along a first central axis of the first die and has a first curved surface which has a radius which changes as the first curved surface extends about the first central axis. A second die a second portion which extends along a second central axis of the second die and has a second curved surface which has a radius which changes as the second curved surface extends about the second central axis. A third die defines a third wall member which extends about the third die and which changes in width dimension wherein with the first die abutting the second die and with the third wall member abutting the first and second dies, a closed gap is formed.
TOOLING TO ENABLE VARIATION IN RADIUS OF MOLDED CONTINUOUS FIBER REINFORCED POLYMER CURVED COMPONENTS
A tooling to enable variation in radius of molded continuous fiber reinforced polymer curved components which includes a first tooling surface formed on a first tooling member which may be formed of sprung material, a second tooling surface formed on a second tooling member which may be formed of sprung material. The first tooling surface and the second tooling surface are positioned to lie one over the other to form a gap therebetween for receiving a supply of continuous fiber reinforced polymer. The first tooling surface and the second tooling surface are movable towards and away from each other to modify the size of the gap therebetween and thereby modify the amount of compression applied by the first and second tooling surfaces on the continuous fiber reinforced polymer positioned therebetween. A mechanism is engaged with the first tooling member to modify a curvature of the first tooling surface.
