SUBSTANCE DELIVERY ARRANGEMENT FOR GAS THERAPY DEVICE
A mount provides a structure that facilitates coupling of a nebuliser downstream of a humidifier chamber and upstream of a conduit that delivers conditioned breathing gases to a patient or user. The mount can couple together a chamber, a nebulizer and a conduit.
Nebuliser Device
A nebuliser device with a vibrating mesh, for administering medicaments, includes a casing, a nozzle, a nebuliser and a chamber that houses a medicament. The chamber housing a medicament is a disposable capsule forming an independent body that can be extracted from the casing of the device. The disposable capsule includes a connector for attaching to the nebuliser and to the casing. The connector allow the disposable capsule to be coupled to the nebuliser device or uncoupled therefrom.
METHOD FOR QUALITATIVE AND/OR QUANTITATIVE DETECTION OF SUBSTANCES CONTAINED IN A HEMP PLANT AND KIT FOR USE THEREIN
The present invention relates to a kit comprising: a) an ampoule; b) a material comprising a hemp plant or parts thereof; and c) a color indicator capable of reacting by contacting the hemp plant and/or at least a part thereof to change the color of the color indicator, wherein the material and the color indicator are disposed in the ampoule; and a method for qualitatively and/or quantitatively detecting one or more substance(s) contained in the hemp plant using the kit.
ELECTRONIC VAPORIZING DEVICE FOR VAPORIZING WATER-BASED COMPOSITIONS
The present disclosure is directed to an electronic vaporizing device for vaporizing water-based compositions and other vaporizable materials. The electronic vaporizing device may comprise a vaporizing component having an ultrasonic vibration element operable to produce ultrasonic vibrations to vaporize at least a portion of the vaporizable material received therein. In one embodiment, the vaporizing component may further comprise a heating element operable to produce heat energy to vaporize at least a portion of the vaporizable material received therein. In one embodiment, the electronic vaporizing device may comprise a processor operable to generate at least one vaporizing control signal for selectively operating at least one of the ultrasonic vibration element and the heating element. The operation of the vaporizing component may be determined by an associated user, by a third party via a remote device, and the like.
INHALATION DEVICE FOR USE IN AEROSOL THERAPY OF RESPIRATORY DISEASES
An inhalation device, assembly or system can include a kit and a pharmaceutical composition. The device can be adapted for administering therapeutic aerosols to pediatric patients, including neonates, infants or toddlers. The device can further include a vibrating mesh aerosol generator that can be insertable into a flow channel of the inhalation device through a lateral opening, and a valved face mask. The device can be connectable to a gas source through which a gas, such as oxygen, can be received into the flow channel at a low flow rate.
METHODS OF TREATING RSV INFECTIONS
Methods are provided for the treatment of RSV infections in young children. More specifically, methods are provided wherein polypeptides that bind F protein of hRSV and that neutralize RSV infection are administered to the lungs of young children at specific dose regimens.
THERAPEUTIC DEVICE FOR TREATMENT OF CONDITIONS RELATING TO THE SINUSES, NASAL CAVITIES, EAR, NOSE AND THROAT
A therapeutic device for treating one or more conditions associated with a user's nasal cavities, sinuses, and/or ear canals includes a housing having an opening, an acoustic vibrator within the housing that is operable to provide an acoustic vibration to the user, a fan within the housing that is operable to provide a pressure to the user and a power supply that provides power to the acoustic vibrator and the fan. A mask is connected to the housing at the opening and includes a nasal interface appliable around the nose of the user, a nasal chamber in which the user's nostrils are located and an aperture through which the fan delivers the pressure.
AMPOULE FOR INHALANT DEVICE
An ampoule with an integrated piezoelectric unit for use with a personal nebulizer or vaporizing unit with a mouthpiece. The substance to be vaporized is contained in the ampoule which is inserted into the unit, where the substance is vaporized through the integrated piezoelectric transducers or atomizers providing sonic or ultrasonic vibration. The substance to be vaporized may include a variety of therapeutic, homeopathic, or naturopathic formulations, remedies, or serums.
Inhalation therapy device comprising an ampoule for storing a medicament to be nebulized
An inhalation therapy device includes an atomizer for atomizing a drug which is advantageously present in the form of a fluid into an atomization chamber so that an aerosol or mist is provided in the atomization chamber. The patient or user can inhale the aerosol produced by the atomizer from the atomization chamber via a mouthpiece. The ampoule is inserted into an ampoule holder holding the fluid-containing ampoule. The inhalation therapy device also includes an opening unit for opening the fluid-containing ampoule. The ampoule holder advantageously includes a first part, disposed displaceably in relation to the opening unit, thereby allowing an ampoule present in the ampoule holder to be displaced in the direction of the opening unit.
Nebuliser Device
A nebuliser device with a vibrating mesh, for administering medicaments is provided. The nebuliser device includes a casing, a nozzle, a nebuliser and a chamber that houses a medicament. The chamber housing a medicament is a disposable capsule forming an independent body that can be extracted from the casing of the device. The disposable capsule attaches to the nebuliser and to the casing. An attachment between the nebuliser and the casing allows the disposable capsule to be coupled to the nebuliser device or to be uncoupled therefrom.
