PROCESS FOR MAKING PRODUCTS OF MULTI-GRADIENT FOAMED POLYMERIC MATERIAL
A process for manufacturing products made of foamed polymeric material, comprising the following steps: generating, via software, a virtual model (M) of a product to be manufactured in a solid foamable polymeric material; performing a topological optimization via software of the virtual model (M) in order to obtain an optimized virtual model (MO) with areas of differentiated relative density; preparing the foamable polymeric material and inserting it in a mold (1); solubilizing, under pressure, at least one foaming agent in the foamable polymeric material placed in the mold (1) with a pressure profile of the foaming agent variable over time and/or space as a function of the topological optimization; releasing the pressure in order to obtain a product (S) made of foamed polymeric material provided with the above-mentioned areas of differentiated relative density; removing the product (S) made of foamed polymeric material from the mold (1).
METHOD FOR PRODUCING RECORDED MATTER HAVING THREE-DIMENSIONAL IMAGE, DEVICE FOR PRODUCING RECORDED MATTER HAVING THREE-DIMENSIONAL IMAGE, AND FOAM-PROMOTING LIQUID
A recorded matter having a three-dimensional image is produced by a method comprising the steps of: applying, to a recording medium including a substrate and a foaming layer provided thereon, a foam-promoting liquid containing water and a foam-promoting component; and heating the foaming layer. The foaming layer contains a binder resin and a foaming particle which foams as heated, while the foam-promoting component lowers a foaming start temperature of the foaming particle. The foaming particle includes a shell layer containing a thermoplastic resin and a volatile material encapsulated in the shell layer. The binder resin contains a water-insoluble resin, while the foam-promoting component contains a compound having no hydroxyl group.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FOAM MOLDED BODY AND FOAM MOLDED BODY
A method for producing a foam-molded product by using a plasticizing cylinder, includes: plasticizing and melting the thermoplastic resin to provide the molten resin in a plasticization zone of the plasticizing cylinder; introducing a pressurized fluid containing the physical foaming agent at a fixed pressure into a starvation zone of the plasticizing cylinder to retain the starvation zone at the fixed pressure; allowing the molten resin to be in the starved state in the starvation zone; bringing the molten resin in contact with the pressurized fluid containing the physical foaming agent at the fixed pressure, in the starvation zone in a state in which the starvation zone is retained at the fixed pressure; and molding the molten resin having been brought in contact with the pressurized fluid containing the physical foaming agent into the foam-molded product.
MOLD FOR PROCESSING EXPANDABLE OR EXPANDED PLASTIC PARTICLES
Mold for processing expandable or expanded plastic particles for producing a multi-component particle foam component, that includes a mold cavity delimited by mold walls, having at least one mold element, which in particular is slide-like or slide-shaped, wherein the at least one mold element is mounted so as to be movable between a first orientation and/or position and at least one further orientation and/or position in which it projects at least in portions into the mold cavity, and wherein the at least one mold element is designed with, or has, a flow channel structure having at least one flow channel which extends inside the mold element and through which a process fluid can flow.
