The composite material blade molding method includes: a lamination step for forming a back-side laminate in a back-side molding die and forming a belly-side laminate in a belly-side molding die; an inner surface cowl plate disposition step for disposing an inner surface cowl plate for maintaining an inner space formed by the back-side laminate and the belly-side laminate; a die mating step for die-mating the back-side molding die and the belly-side molding die and disposing a foaming agent in the inner space maintained by the inner surface cowl plate; and a curing step for heating and expanding the foaming agent and heat-curing the back-side laminate and the belly-side laminate.
FOAMED ARTICLES AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
Foamed articles including a foamed thermoplastic elastomeric material, methods of making the foamed articles, and methods for manufacturing articles of footwear, apparel, and athletic equipment incorporating such foamed articles are provided. In one aspect, a method for making a foamed article comprises placing an article comprising a foamable material and carbon dioxide in a vessel, maintaining the vessel at an infusing pressure and infusing temperature at which the carbon dioxide is a liquid and carbon dioxide is soluble in the foamable material, optionally exposing the infused article to a first intermediary holding temperature and first intermediary holding pressure, and subjecting the article to an expanding pressure and expanding temperature at which the infused carbon dioxide phase transitions to a gas, thereby expanding the foamable material into a foamed material and forming the foamed article.
Porous devices and processes for producing same
A method for making a polymer with a porous layer from a solid piece of polymer is disclosed. In various embodiments, the method includes heating a surface of a solid piece of polymer to a processing temperature and holding the processing temperature while displacing a porogen layer through the surface of the polymer to create a matrix layer of the solid polymer body comprising the polymer and the porogen layer. In at least one embodiment, the method also includes removing at least a portion of the layer of porogen from the matrix layer to create a porous layer of the solid piece of polymer.
Foam and method of forming foam
A method for making a foam component is provided and includes inserting a foam material into a cavity of a mold having a top plate and a bottom plate, heating the foam material to cause the foam material to expand, and moving one of the top plate and the bottom plate relative to the other of the top plate and the bottom plate as the foam material expands and contacts the one of the top plate and the bottom plate to cause the foam material to fold over on itself within the cavity.
POLYMER FOAM LAMINATE STRUCTURE
The present invention relates to a polymer foam laminate structure (1), comprising—a first solid layer (101) having a density of more than 1000 g/l, which is covered by at least one first functional layer (103), —a polymeric foam layer (105) provided on the at least one first functional layer (103), —a second solid layer (109) having a density of more than 1000 g/l, which is covered by at least one second functional layer (107), the at least one second functional layer (107) being in contact with the polymeric foam layer (103), wherein the polymeric foam layer (105) has a density of 20 g/l to less than 1000 g/l. The present invention further pertains a method for preparing a polymer foam laminate structure (1) and a composite component (1000) inter alia comprising the polymer foam laminate structure (1).
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SOUNDPROOF MATERIAL
A soundproof material includes rubber sponge having a specific gravity of 0.2 or less, which is formed by extrusion molding and a subsequent crosslinking and foaming of a rubber composition using a microwave heating device. The rubber composition includes at least raw material rubber, a crosslinking agent, a foaming agent, and carbon black. The soundproof material has a rectangular cross-sectional outer shape, has at least two hollow parts inside formed by a lateral partition wall extending in a left-right lateral direction and at least two hollow parts formed by a vertical partition wall extending in a vertical direction. The method includes adding carbon nanotubes to the rubber composition.
Method of Molding Foam Articles
A method of making molded foam articles and the articles produced. A molded foam article is produced by heating or preheating the mold to a temperature at or above the glass transition or melt temperature of the particles to be molded. Foamed particles are then introduced into the mold. The particle filled mold is then subjected to a vacuum to stabilize the molded article, without application of any additional heating or cooling. The molded article is then removed from the mold at a temperature at or below the glass transition temperature of the particles, and the cycle repeated to form multiple molded articles.
Method for manufacturing foam molded body and foam molded body
A method for producing a foam-molded product by using a plasticizing cylinder, includes: plasticizing and melting the thermoplastic resin to provide the molten resin in a plasticization zone of the plasticizing cylinder; introducing a pressurized fluid containing the physical foaming agent at a fixed pressure into a starvation zone of the plasticizing cylinder to retain the starvation zone at the fixed pressure; allowing the molten resin to be in the starved state in the starvation zone; bringing the molten resin in contact with the pressurized fluid containing the physical foaming agent at the fixed pressure, in the starvation zone in a state in which the starvation zone is retained at the fixed pressure; and molding the molten resin having been brought in contact with the pressurized fluid containing the physical foaming agent into the foam-molded product.
