A nebulizer system is disclosed, and comprises a first portion and a second portion configured for selectably receiving and electrically connecting to the first portion. The first portion includes a first housing for containing fluid, a vibratable mesh which seals a first outer opening of the first housing and configured to release fluid from the first housing through the first outer opening, first electrical conductors electrically connected to the vibratable mesh, a wick arranged such that vibration of the vibratable mesh causes release of fluid from the wick, and a biasing member compressing the wick against the vibratable mesh. The second portion includes a second housing having a second outer opening, second electrical conductors for contact with the first electrical conductors, and control electronics electrically connected to the second electrical conductors and configured to control the vibratable mesh to cause fluid release from the first housing through the outer openings.

VAPORIZER CARTRIDGE

A cartridge includes an atomizer assembly, a reservoir, and a mouthpiece. The atomizer assembly may heat a vaporizable material to generate an inhalable vapor. The reservoir may store the vaporizable material and include a wick housing and a reservoir body. The wick housing may surround at least a portion of the atomizer assembly and form a proximal wall of the reservoir. The reservoir body may be coupled to the wick housing and form a distal wall of the reservoir. The mouthpiece may deliver the inhalable vapor.

DRY POWDER INHALER DOSE COUNTERS

Dry powder inhaler dose counters capable of making a display move swiftly between digits, in contrast to the progressive movement that occurs in simple gearing mechanisms.

Device for distribution of fluid product triggered by inhalation

A fluid dispenser device having a reservoir; a valve; a cocking member movable between rest and primed positions and between primed and dispensing positions, the cocking member includes a set of teeth; a blocking device blocking the cocking member in the primed position; a trigger system controlled by inhaling to release the blocking device; a reservoir support element including a cam opening; and a meshing wheel having a toothed projection co-operating with the set of teeth and a cam projection co-operating with the cam opening. The toothed projection is centered relative to the wheel rotation axis, and the cam projection is offset relative to the axis. The meshing wheel completes a turn when the cocking member moves from its primed towards its dispensing position, such that the cam projection causes the reservoir support element to perform reciprocating axial movement for actuating and returning the valve into its rest position.

DEVICE FOR THE DISPENSING OF A FLUID PRODUCT SYNCHRONISED WITH INHALATION

An inhalation-synchronized fluid dispenser device having a body (10; 10′) provided with a mouthpiece (400), a fluid reservoir (100) containing a fluid and a propellant gas being mounted to slide axially in the body (10; 10′), a metering valve (200) including a valve member (210) assembled on the reservoir (100) for selectively dispensing the fluid. The device includes an actuator element (500, 500′, 500″; 550) movable and/or deformable between a non-actuation position and an actuation position; an inhalation-controlled trigger system including an inhalation-sensitive member (60, 61; 65, 66) deformable and/or movable under the effect of inhaling and when deformed and/or moved, moving and/or deforming the actuator element (500, 500′, 500″; 550) from its non-actuation position towards its actuation position; an electronic dose counter (1000); and a signal-transmitter (1100) for communicating, in particular communicating remotely, information relating to the actuations of the device.

An inhalation-synchronized fluid dispenser device having a body; a mouthpiece; a reservoir; a valve; a blocking element; a trigger element; and an inhalation-controlled trigger system including an inhalation-sensitive member deformable or movable so that when the inhalation-sensitive member is deformed and/or moved, it moves and/or deforms the trigger element towards its release position, thereby making it possible to move and/or deform the blocking element towards its actuation position. The device has a ring that co-operates with the blocking element, such that in the blocking position, an axial projection of the ring co-operates with an axial blocking extension so as to block the reservoir, and in the actuation position, the axial projection co-operates with an axial recess, thereby enabling the reservoir to move axially.

Metered dose inhaler

The invention relates to a metered dose inhaler (1) for dispensing aerosol doses with an actuation housing (2) and a canister (5) with an aerosol. A triggering unit (8) comprises one single trigger member (21) on a flexible member (22) for activating a switch (19) of a circuit assembly. The flexible member (22) is configured to interact with the canister (5) in such a way that the trigger member (21) is moved in a lateral direction by the canister (5) so that the trigger member (21) engages the switch (19).

Medicinal inhaler drive mechanism

A drive mechanism for a medicinal inhaler, the inhaler comprising: a patient port; a canister actuable by the drive mechanism to deliver a dose of medicament to the patient port, the drive mechanism comprising: a follower which moves between a first position in which the mechanism is primed for use and a second position in which the follower engages the canister to deliver a dose of medicament to the patient port, the follower being carried on a rocker plate which pivots as the follower moves between its first and second position, wherein the rocker plate engages a switch when the follower is in its second position to indicate that a dose of medicament has been delivered to the patient port.
