MOLDED BODY AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF
A molded body according to one aspect of the present disclosure is a molded body obtained by molding resin and used by allowing light to pass through the resin. In this molded body, a gate mark as a mark of a gate through which resin was injected during molding is disposed to a bonding surface to be bonded to an other member having no light transmittance, that is, to a bonding surface in the molded body.
Resin molded product and method for producing resin molded product
A resin molded product (10) includes a resin molded product main body (11), and a protrusion (12) integrally formed with the resin molded product main body (11) and protruding from the resin molded product main body (11). At injection molding of the resin molded product (10), molten resin flows through a portion (C-1) corresponding to the protrusion (12) in a cavity (C) defined by a pair of molds (20, 30). A concave portion (14) is formed on a rear side of the protrusion (12), and a bulging portion (12a) having a hollow bag shape is formed on a front side of the protrusion (12).
FORMING MOLD FOR PRESSURE CONTAINER LINER AND MOLDING METHOD FOR PRESSURE CONTAINER LINER
Provided is a forming mold for a pressure container liner including a female serration on an upper face of a top portion. The forming mold includes an insert including a recessed-projecting portion by which the female serration is to be formed. The insert includes a lower layer and an upper layer divided from each other in the up-down direction. Bolt holes are formed in respective radial central parts of the upper layer and the lower layer. Gaps on contacting faces between the upper layer and the lower layer are set to a size that allows gas to pass through the gaps but does not allow nylon resin to pass through the gaps. An air-discharge passage via which a vicinal area of the recessed-projecting portion is connected to the bolt holes is formed on the contacting faces.
Polygonal mirror, deflector, optical scanning apparatus and image forming apparatus
A polygonal mirror includes reflecting surfaces, a molded member including a first surface and a second surface, a contact portion, and gate marks. Each of said first surface and said second surface has a polygonal shape. The contact portion and the gate marks are formed at non-overlapping positions with a line segment connecting a vertex of the polygonal shape with a rotation center. The gate marks and the reflecting surfaces are the same in number. A perpendicular bisector of a line segment connecting centers of the gate marks adjacent to each other with respect to a rotational direction of the polygonal mirror is formed at a position passing through an associated vertex of the polygonal shape and the rotation center.
Valve
A bi-injection moulded self-closing valve assembly is described. The assembly comprises a valve overmoulded on an insert. The overmoulded valve is injected using side gating of the mould.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A COMPONENT
The invention relates to a method for producing a component, said method comprising the steps of: providing a dimensionally stable carrier which comprises a first through-opening and a second through-opening; attaching the dimensionally stable carrier to a first mould half, wherein a sprue cavity is formed in the region of the first through-opening on the side of the dimensionally stable carrier facing the first mould half and an overflow chamber is formed in the region of the second through-opening; positioning a second mould half such that a cavity connecting the first through-opening and the second through-opening is formed at least in sections between the second mould half and the dimensionally stable carrier, and introducing a material into the sprue cavity.
Rotating reflector, optical unit, support component, vehicle headlamp system, method of manufacturing rotating reflector
A rotating reflector is a resin rotating reflector including: a rotating part; and a blade provided around the rotating part and functioning as a reflecting surface, wherein the rotating part has a hole in which a rotary shaft is inserted.
Unitary Biochip Providing Sample-in to Results-Out Processing and Methods of Manufacture
A biochip for the integration of all steps in a complex process from the insertion of a sample to the generation of a result, performed without operator intervention includes microfluidic and macrofluidic features that are acted on by instrument subsystems in a series of scripted processing steps. Methods for fabricating these complex biochips of high feature density by injection molding are also provided.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A DIAPHRAGM FOR A DIAPHRAGM VALVE AND DIAPHRAGM
The invention relates to a method for producing a diaphragm for a diaphragm valve. The method includes the steps of conveying a plastics melt through at least one feed channel into a mold cavity which is delimited by a first mold and a second mold; moving the first and second molds toward one another; removing the at least one diaphragm from the mold cavity; and cutting off a sprue from the at least one diaphragm removed from the mold cavity.
INJECTION MOLDING METHOD AND APPARATUS
A method of injection molding thick plastic parts, comprising molding a transitional part using by a first shot through the first or A-side of the mold, moving the transitional part and mold core away from the mold cavity to create a second shot space, and injecting a second shot which merges with the transitional part to create a final part.
