Oral care implement or head plate therefor and method of forming the same
A method of forming an oral care implement, a method of forming a head plate for an oral care implement, and an oral care implement or head plate formed therefrom. The head plate may have micro-sized or fine features. The method may include providing an amount of a first solid material upstream of a first mold cavity; prior to the first solid material entering the first mold cavity, applying ultrasonic energy to the first solid material to melt the first solid material into a first molten material; flowing the first molten material into the first mold cavity; allowing the first molten material to harden within the first mold cavity to form a head plate comprising micro-sized features; forming a body from a second material, the body including a handle portion and a head portion; and coupling the head plate to the head portion of the body.
MOLD, METHOD OF PRODUCING PRODUCT, METHOD OF PRODUCING IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM
A mold includes a rotatable portion, a frame portion, a first and second portion, and a production unit. The rotatable portion has a plurality of surfaces and a plurality of forming portions. The plurality of surfaces is each provided with one of the plurality of forming portions, each having the same shape. The frame portion rotatably supports the rotatable portion. The first portion defines a cavity by coming into contact with one surface of the plurality of surfaces by clamping the mold. The second portion comes into contact with another surface of the plurality of surfaces different from the one surface by clamping the mold. The production unit attached to the frame portion.
Method of Making a Thick Article
Method of making a shaped article (5) comprising at least two parts (10, 15) wherein the first part comprises at least one projection (20) and the second part comprises at least one recess (22) by preparing said first part and said second part in a moulding process and joining the prepared first and second part together by engaging the at least one projection with the at least one recess to form said shaped article.
MANUFACTURED ARTICLES CONSISTING OF THE COUPLING OF TWO POLYAMIDE-BASED PARTS, ONE OF WHICH FIBER-REINFORCED, AND A PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION THEROF
The present invention relates to manufactured articles consisting of the coupling of at least two polyamide-based parts, one of which consists of a polyamide matrix, preferably loaded with a dispersed filler, and the other consists of a polyamide matrix reinforced with fibres in their turn made of polyamide. The invention also relates to a process for the production of these manufactured articles. The manufactured articles of the invention have high mechanical strength but, unlike similar manufactured articles, they are made of a single polymer.
MOLDING PROCESS FOR FORMING THERMOPLASTIC ARTICLES
Provided is a molding system for molding a thermoplastic article. The molding system comprises a first mold half and a second mold half. The first and second mold halves together define a plurality of molding cavities in a first closed position. The plurality of cavities serve to mold a corresponding plurality of article components in a first molding stage. Subsequent the first molding stage, the first mold half is displaceable relative to the second mold half to align the plurality of article components formed during the first molding stage. During a second molding stage, the first and second mold halves are closed to a second closed position, to engage and bond together the plurality of article components into a finished thermoplastic article.
Sealing profile receiving device having a first and a second holding unit
A sealing profile receiving device having first and second holding units for receiving and holding first and second sealing profile elements, and a casting unit for casting a connecting portion for connecting the first and second sealing profile elements and/or for casting first and second end terminations of the first and second sealing profile elements. A first and/or second and/or third drive unit for driving at least one holding and/or clamping and/or ejector element is/are provided and includes a chain comprising a plurality of chain links arranged at least between two guide faces of a guide unit for guiding the chain and/or chain links, such that an adjusting force can be exerted in the pulling and pushing directions of the chain by the first and/or second and/or third drive unit.
Method for manufacturing an oral care implement
A method for manufacturing an oral care implement comprising a handle, a connector, and a head repeatedly attachable to and detachable from the handle via the connector. The method includes the steps of injection molding of at least a part of the handle having a distal end and a proximal end opposite thereto and comprising a hollow portion; injection molding of at least a part of the connector having an outer lateral surface and a recess therein, the recess forming a cavity within the connector; injection molding of at least a part of the head; inserting the connector into the hollow portion of the handle and fixing the connector therein by gluing, welding, and/or press-fitting.
MELTING HEATER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MOLDED PRODUCT
A melting heater configured to melt joining end surfaces of a pair of semi-molded products in a case where the joining end surfaces are melted and joined to manufacture a molded product, the melting heater including: two glass plates arranged in parallel to each other; and a plurality of element heaters arranged in a unit having a flat plate shape as a whole between the two glass plates, in which the glass plate is subjected to surface processing for controlling infrared rays emitted from the plurality of element heaters.
In-mold assembly system for an injection molding machine
A method for injection molding comprises forming a set of first articles in a mold of an injection molding machine and forming a set of second articles in the mold of the injection molding machine. The method includes transferring the set of first articles from the mold to a first set of first receivers of a tooling plate, and then moving the first set of first receivers to align with the set of second articles. Thereafter the set of second articles is transferred from the mold toward the first set of first receivers and into assembled condition with the set of first articles held in the first set of first receivers.
MODULAR DOOR LITE COMPONENTS
Modular components of modular door lite frame systems are disclosed. In some cases, a modular door lite frame system includes matching first and second modular frames, one or more modular male alignment members, and one or more modular female alignment members. In some cases, the modular alignment members can be coupled to modular frames of various sizes. In some cases, the modular components can be formed by casting ABS between no more than two opposed mold portions.
