METHOD FOR PROTECTING A PROFILE STRUCTURAL PART OF AN AIRCRAFT AGAINST MECHANICAL WEAR AND/OR MECHANICAL IMPACT
To manufacture a protected profile structural part of a fuselage of an aircraft, a sealant mold having a mold cavity having a cross-section that matches a portion of the profile structural part on which the surface to be protected is disposed is prepared. The mold cavity is filled with uncured wet sealant which is subsequently cured into a cured sealant member. The cured sealant member is then attached to the finished structural profile part in a non-movable manner to form a protective liner on the surface to be protected and to generate the protected profile structural part.

Also, a corresponding component, apparatus and system are disclosed.
Method of forming aligned pattern in pattern formation region by using imprint process
A method of forming a pattern by using an imprint process includes: forming an adhesion promoting layer only in a pattern formation region on a substrate; coating a resin to cover the substrate and the adhesion promoting layer; transferring a pattern of a stamp mold to the resin covering the substrate and the adhesion promoting layer, by pressing the stamp mold onto the resin; irradiating ultraviolet light onto the resin covering the substrate and the adhesion promoting layer, to cure the resin and form a pattern of the cured resin to correspond to the pattern of the stamp mold, on the substrate; and detaching the stamp mold from the substrate, to leave a portion of the cured resin pattern only on the adhesion promoting layer on the substrate and to remove a remaining portion of the cured resin pattern from the substrate.
Method for making and decorating a transparent timepiece component
A method for making and decorating top and bottom surfaces of a transparent timepiece component, the method including: depositing a first decoration on a male pattern; moving the male pattern, covered or not covered by a preform, into an injection chamber and injecting a transparent material therein to coat the male pattern to obtain a compound including the top face with the first decoration, on the bottom face; polymerizing the first compound in the injection chamber and then removing therefrom; depositing another material and/or second decoration in a cavity and held by gravity, and deposited on the top surface via a relative motion in the direction of gravity, to obtain a second compound.
MOLDING METHOD OF VEHICLE SPEAKER GRILL
Disclosed is a molding method of a vehicle speaker grill. The disclosed molding method of a vehicle speaker grill includes a molding process of transferring a printed film to an injection molded product; and a post-process of processing the injection molded product to which the printed film is transferred, in which the molding process includes charging a printed film between a first mold and a second mold, mold closing the first mold and the second mold, injecting a resin between the printed film and a concave portion of the irregularity, and transferring a portion of the printed film, and mold opening the first mold and the second mold and extracting the injection molded product, and the post-process includes removing the transferred portion other than the upper surface of the injection molded product from the transferred printed film by injecting air into the upper surface of the extracted printed film.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING INTERIOR PARTS FOR VEHICLE USING REAL MATERIAL
An embodiment method of manufacturing an interior component for a vehicle using a real material includes bonding a plurality of laminated printed layers on a rear surface of the real material, injection-molding an injection-molded product that processes a shape by putting the real material into a molding mold and laminating the real material on the injection-molded product injection-molded in a shape corresponding to the processed shape of the real material, forming a light-transmitting part that processes a symbol part on a front surface of the real material and forming a light-transmitting part protruding in a shape of the symbol part, and mounting a light source unit on the injection-molded product, the light source unit configured to be selectively lighted through the light-transmitting part in response to detecting a change in a capacitance from the front surface of the real material.
UV curing method and an assembly therefor
It is presented a method for producing a cured polymer structure from a polymer compound which is UV curable and partly UV transparent. The method comprises injecting the polymer compound into a mold (2), which mold (2) has at least one wall (7) defining a mold space (6) for receiving the polymer compound in the mold space (6). The at least one wall (7) of the mold (2) is UV transparent and comprises a thermoplastic polymer. The polymer compound is then irradiated through the at least one wall (7), by means of at least one UV semiconductor light source, thereby curing the polymer compound to form the cured polymer structure. An assembly for producing a polymer structure and a mold (2) is also presented herein.
Method for connecting two silicone tube sections as well as pharmaceutical media transfer method with such a connection method and apparatus for performing the method
In a method for connecting two silicone tube sections (1, 2), end face portions (1a, 2a) of the silicone tube sections (1, 2) to be connected that face each other are positioned in an overmolding mold (13) in such a way that the end face portions (1a, 2a) facing each other abut each other. The end face regions (1a, 2a) abutting each other are overmolded in the overmolding mold (13) by filling an overmolding cavity (14) of the overmolding mold (13) with flowable silicone (15). The flowable silicone (15) is cured. This connection method can be used in a pharmaceutical media transfer method for supplying a pharmaceutical medium (5) from a source reservoir (3) to a target reservoir (4). This media transfer method involves displacing (9) the pharmaceutical medium (5) in a silicone supply tube section of a silicone supply tube (6) as well as cutting (10) the silicone supply tube section for creating a sterile end face portion (1a) as well as cutting a silicone discharge tube section for creating a sterile end face portion (2a). After performing the connection method, the pharmaceutical medium (5) is transferred from the source reservoir (3) to the target reservoir (4) via the connected tube sections (1, 2). For carrying out the method, a device (22) with an exchangeable blade (11), an overmolding mold (13) and a positioning device (11a) are used. The connection method can be carried out in a reliable, reproducible and automated manner with reasonable effort.
