There is disclosed a hair fastener. The hair fastener is in the form of a loop for securing a log of hair within the loop. The hair fastener has an inner elastic core and an outer fabric enveloping the inner elastic core, wherein the elastic core is made of a band with a width of 2 to 6 mm and a thickness of 1 to 3 mm, and made of silicone or a material of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) selected from the consisting of hydrogenated styrenic block copolymers (SEBS), thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPV). The hair fastener is adapted to assume a first, default, configuration in which an opening defined and surrounded by the loop has a first area and a second, fully expanded, configuration in which the opening defined and surrounded by the loop has a second area.

THERMOSET POLYESTER BMC FORMULA FOR DIRECT METALLIZED FORWARD LIGHTING REFLECTOR

A thermoset bulk molding compound useful for making automotive components such as headlamps, as well as other articles of manufacture are described. The composition incorporates moisture absorbing components such as molecular sieves to absorb water present in the compound before molding, thus reducing or eliminating mold defects while retaining the physical properties needed for automotive applications. This results in an as-molded composition with a gloss measured at 60° of greater than 85 GU that can be, without the necessity of a base coat, metallized directly and have reflector quality and durability. The metallized molded components can undergo additional steps such as applying protective sealant layers, as required by the automotive application. The removal of water before molding and the direct metallization reduces the production time of the molded articles.

Electrical machine for a vehicle

A method for producing a stator for an electrical machine includes providing the stator including a ring-shaped stator body, from which a plurality of stator teeth arranged spaced apart along a circumferential direction of the stator body protrude radially to the inside. A space is thereby provided between two stator teeth adjacent to one another in the circumferential direction. Second, a first injection molding of two stator teeth adjacent to one another in the circumferential direction with a plastic is performed. Third, a stator winding is arranged in the space. Fourth, a second injection molding of the stator winding arranged in the space with the plastic is performed such that an air gap and/or an air trap between the stator teeth injection molded in the second step and the stator winding after the arrangement of the stator winding in the space in the third step, is filled with the plastic.

Vehicle and method for manufacturing vehicle body

A method for manufacturing an aluminum alloy vehicle body includes the following steps: vehicle body part molding, including: profile stretch-bending and machining; vehicle body frame assembly welding, including: performing assembly welding on a lower vehicle body, left and right side panels, and front and rear roof crossbeams; outer panel manufacturing, including: manufacturing an outer panel by injection molding; and whole vehicle assembling, including: assembling interior trim parts and the outer panel to a vehicle body frame, and assembling chassis parts to the vehicle body frame. The vehicle body parts and the vehicle body frame are made of an aluminum alloy material, and the outer panel is made of a non-metallic composite material.
