METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MAKING A MULTI COMPONENT PRODUCT
An injection molding device with a middle mold part arranged in a first direction between first and second outer mold parts that are linearly movable with respect to the middle mold part in the first direction between open and closed positions. One or more side face regions of the middle mold part is configured to receive and hold in a lateral position a cavity module from outside of the injection mold during injection molding. A first cavity arranged in the cavity module at least in the closed position of the injection mold communicates with a first cavity half of a second cavity. At least one of the outer mold parts includes a second half of the second cavity, which interacts with the first half to form the second cavity to receive a liquefied plastic material and to form a second component interconnected to the first component.
TRUCK WHEEL
The present invention relates to a hybrid wheel for vehicles that comprises a unitary lug structure, with a mount face and a dish section of the lug structure extending therefrom. The lug structure is usually a cast aluminum alloy. A wheel structure comprising a high strength polymer encapsulates a portion of the lug structure dish section. rim ring(s) are included in the wheel structure and are preferably made of a fiber reinforced high strength polymer.

PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING A DIAL
A process for manufacturing a watch dial including at least one pattern on a visible face of the dial, the process including: a step of designing a support plate including a dial blank, this step including producing several through holes in the thickness of the body of a support plate, the holes delimiting in such a plate the edge of the dial blank, and a step of producing at least one pattern on a visible face of the dial blank during which step the following is performed: an arrangement of this support plate including the external part element in a mould, and a construction of a blank of each pattern on the visible face of the dial blank, as well as a finalisation of the blank of the pattern.

A probe assembly and a method of manufacturing a probe assembly. In one aspect there is a method of manufacturing a probe assembly comprising providing an electrode carrier carrying a plurality of electrodes, the electrode carrier comprising a top wherein the plurality of electrodes are exposed relative to the top and a bottom having a plurality of electrical contacts in electrical communication with the plurality of electrodes respectively; moulding a body around the electrode carrier to retain the electrode carrier whilst leaving the plurality of electrodes exposed. The invention also extends to a biomass monitoring system comprising a flexible enclosure including a probe assembly and support arrangement for receipt of the probe assembly in an engaged configuration.
Method for making a teat unit
A method for making teat unit including providing a support body and a securing part, the support body including a plurality of recesses, forming a teat by overmolding the teat over the support body and over the recesses of the support body so that the teat covers the recesses, and overmolding the teat over an upper edge of the securing part, thereby forming a connection between the securing part and the support body which connects the securing part to the support body. In another method, the support body and the securing part are already one single piece and the teat is overmolded at least over the support body.
Method of protecting a layered coating on a discrete pipe joint for subsea use
A method of protecting a layered coating on a length of pipe for subsea use includes applying an edge finisher to the coating to encase an edge of the coating by fusing the edge finisher with the coating or by molding the edge finisher at an edge of the coating. Where the coating and the edge finisher are of thermoplastics such as PP, fusing can be achieved by injection molding the edge finisher or by welding a discrete edge finisher component to the edge of the coating. Mirror welding may be employed for this purpose, with a hot plate being interposed between the edge of the coating and the edge finisher.
Method for manufacturing insert-molded bus bar, and insert-molded bus bar
A method for manufacturing an insert-molded bus bar includes the steps of: preparing a first bus bar having a through hole and a second bus bar having a protrusion corresponding to the through hole; preparing a mold having therein a swaging member capable of swaging the protrusion; placing the first and second bus bars in the mold with the protrusion being inserted into the through hole; swaging the first and second bus bars using the swaging member of the mold to obtain connected bus bars that are the bus bars connected to each other; and injecting a molding material around the connected bus bars that are the bus bars connected to each other by swaging to perform insert molding using the mold and obtain the insert-molded bus bar.

A method for manufacturing a blade made of composite material for a turbine engine, in particular of an aircraft, the steps of injecting a resin in order to impregnate a fibrous preform woven in three dimensions and polymerizing the resin so as to form the blade that includes an airfoil, one longitudinal end of which is connected to a platform. The platform includes pressure and suction portions connected to the airfoil by a fillet, wherein a separation is formed in the fibrous preform between the pressure and suction portions. The method further includes reinforcing a leading edge of the airfoil; and reinforcing the fillets by integration of a metal reinforcement on at least one part of the pressure and suction portions of the platform and in the separation.
Speaker module and manufacturing method therefor
Provided are a speaker module and a manufacturing method therefor. The speaker module comprises a housing and a speaker unit comprising a vibrating diaphragm component and a magnetic circuit component. A front acoustic cavity and a rear acoustic cavity are formed between the speaker unit and the housing. An elastic element is provided on the housing and coupled to the end surface of an open end of the front or rear acoustic cavity. Use of the speaker module can reduce a step of manual fitting of the elastic element, ensure precision and stability, so that the elastic element is not prone to fall off, and tightness between sound outlet hole of the speaker module and sound hole of mobile phone can be ensured. The manufacturing method for the speaker module also can be extended to manufacturing of other structures requiring injection of a soft or rigid material into another material.
