TOP-LOADED SEAT CUSHION SYSTEM
A method of mounting a seat assembly to a vehicle, includes the steps of 1) providing a wire frame assembly having a side rail and engagement features; 2) overmolding a cushion support assembly to the wire frame assembly to form a seat portion assembly, wherein portions of the side rail and the engagement features are exposed; 3) mounting a trim panel to a seat frame within a vehicle interior; 4) mounting one or more support plates having receiving apertures to the seat frame; 5) vertically mounting the seat portion assembly to the trim panel by receiving the exposed portion of the side rail of the wire frame assembly within a clip member of the trim panel; and 6) vertically mounting the seat portion assembly to the support plates by receiving the exposed portions of the engagement features within the receiving apertures of the one or more support plates.
Flexible golf grip with full thickness rib section and method of making same
A flexible elastomeric grip for a golf club has an elastomeric insert extending fully through the wall of the tubular grip and exposed on its exterior surface. The insert is comprised of a material having greater stiffness than the body material for enhancing gripability.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN ELONGATE COMPONENT USING A CENTERING ELEMENT
The invention aims to increase concentricity compared to conventional centering methods in a 3D extrusion cycle, using a pressure-controlled or floating centering lance. The invention proposes a device (10) for moulding an elongate component (44), comprising: a moulding arrangement (12) with at least one gate point; and a mould insert (22) that can be received in said moulding arrangement (12) and displaced along a displacement axis (V) relative to the gate point (18), said mould insert (22) at least partly delimiting a cavity (28) in which a solidifying moulding compound (21) added via the gate point (18) can be received, and said device (10) additionally comprising a centering element (34) which is configured to receive an elongate component (44) and guide it along a centering axis (Z) into said cavity (28). The device (10) is also accompanied by a method for moulding an elongate component (44).
Optical fiber re-coating device
An optical fiber re-coating device of the invention includes an optical fiber coater that includes: a pair of glass members having grooves formed thereon; and two bases on which the respective glass members are provided, wherein at least one of the paired glass members has a cross section in a direction vertical to a mounting surface of the bases, the cross section is formed in a trapezoidal shape, the groove is provided on a short side of the trapezoidal shape, and an inclined surface of the glass member including an inclined side of the trapezoidal shape is pressed, and the glass member is thereby fixed to the base.
Systems and techniques for splicing together optical fiber ribbon cables having different core-to-core spacings
A system forms, at an end of a multifiber ribbon cable, a multifiber ribbon cable segment having an enlarged core-to-core spacing. A UV-transparent mold is mounted on top of a chassis. The mold defines a plurality of individual fiber channels corresponding to individual fibers of the existing multifiber ribbon cable and having a spacing equal to that of the enlarged core-to-core spacing. Each individual fiber channel passes through the internal cavity. The assembled mold further includes an injection system for receiving light curable, flowable material from the reservoir and pumping system and feeding it into the internal cavity, and at least one vent for allowing air to escape from the internal cavity as the light-curable, flowable material is fed into the internal cavity. The injected material is cured by exposure to a curing light.
INJECTION MOULDING METHOD FOR PRODUCT WITH ELASTIC CONNECTION SHEET, AND LOUDSPEAKER AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS
An injection molding method for a product with a connection elastic sheet, a loudspeaker and an electronic device are provided. The method comprises: providing a blank material comprising at least one connection piece and a material connection strip, and each connection piece comprising an elastic arm portion and a wire portion; positioning the blank material as an insert in a first injection mold by means of the material connection strip; injecting a first injection plastic part into the first injection cavity to obtain a first injection product; processing the first injection product for bending up the elastic arm portion toward an outer surface of the first injection plastic part; placing the processed first injection product into a second injection cavity of a second injection mold, and sealing the elastic arm portion; and injecting a second injection plastic part into the second injection cavity.
Needle-equipped syringe and injection molding die for the same
A needle-equipped syringe reduces an inclination of a needle by reducing an inclination of a core pin when insert molding is performed. The needle-equipped syringe includes a barrel formed using a resin and having a cylindrical body, a nozzle part provided at a distal end of the body, and an opening part provided at a proximal end of the body; and an injection needle held by the nozzle part. The injection needle and the barrel are integrally molded so that an axis of the injection needle is substantially parallel to an axis of the body. The body has a thick part and a thin part located at a proximal end of the body at opposing positions across the axis of the body. At the proximal end of the body, an axis of an inner surface of the body is offset from an axis of an outer surface of the body.
Connecting structure of end piece and outer cable in Bowden cable and method for connecting the same
In a Bowden cable, a shield thereof is formed from a hollow strand that is formed by twisting a plurality of metal individual wires. An end part of this hollow strand is exposed by removing an outer skin and is increased in diameter, thereby forming a first flare part. An end part of a liner is also increased in diameter to form a second flare part. An end piece is injection molded so as to envelop these flare parts. A synthetic resin as a material of this end piece is made to enter between the metal individual wires. The end piece includes a mounting part and a bent pipe part for covering and surrounding an outer periphery of an outer cable in a state in which the outer cable is curved. The mounting part and the bent pipe part are formed as a unit by injection molding.
Method of manufacturing a two component sealing gasket for plastic pipe
A pipe sealing gasket is shown which is designed to be received within a raceway provided within the female, belled end of a section of plastic pipe which is assembled with a mating male pipe end to form a plastic pipe joint. The gasket is a two-component gasket having a softer, elastomeric portion and a harder, plastic ring portion. A splicing technique is used to form the softer, elastomeric portion with the harder, plastic portion being injection molded over the previously formed elastomeric portion.
