METHOD AND TOOL FOR MANUFACTURING A COMPOSITE AIRCRAFT WINDOW FRAME
The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a composite aircraft window frame; the method comprises the steps of: a) positioning in a mold a preform made of pre-impregnated material including dispersed fibers, with a predefined orientation, in a thermosetting resin matrix; b) closing the mold so as to define a gap between at least one surface of said preform and a portion of said mold; c) injecting thermosetting resin into the closed mold through an inlet opening of the mold itself, so as to fill the gap and completely lap said surface of the preform; and d) applying a uniform hydrostatic pressure on the surface by the injection of the resin.

A fitting for connecting first and second components arranged at right angles to each other that includes a flange part, which extends in a first direction and has a first connection surface in contact with the first component, and which has at least one first connection hole formed by a bore of a first insert; and a base part, which extends in a second direction, perpendicular to the first direction, and has a second connection surface in contact with the second component, and which has at least one second connection hole formed by a bore of a second insert. The first insert is joined to the second insert by at least one loop of continuous fiber tow wound around radially outer surfaces of the first insert second inserts.

In the primary molding step, the insert core having axially-projecting convex portions aligned apart from one another in the circumferential direction is located in a primary molding die, and the injection molding is performed. In the secondary molding step, the annular internal resin member and the insert core which have undergone the primary molding step are located in a secondary molding die, and the injection molding is performed. Gates for injecting molten resin in a cavity of the secondary molding die are located in the secondary molding die so that welds that are joining points of the molten resin in the secondary molding step are positioned in the radially outside of rib portions.

A method for manufacturing a wheel integrated to a support shaft, including: making by overmolding, in a first material, of a wheelrim on the support shaft, the wheelrim having an upper face having a ribbed annular portion in which cells are formed, delimited by reinforcing ribs and having respective bottoms, making by overmolding, in a second material, of a crown on the upper face of the wheelrim, by implementing an injection in at least one injection point positioned opposite the ribbed annular portion, prior to the step of making the crown by overmolding, formation of a material deposit in at least one target cell, selected amongst the cells, so as to form a raised area with respect to bottom thereof, the injection of the second material at the injection point being performed opposite the raised area.
Air duct assembly with a secured seal
An air duct assembly attachable to a receiving port includes an air duct with an inner surface and an exterior surface connected to one another at a coupling fixture. A seal is connected and bonded to the coupling fixture. The seal extends axially from the coupling fixture and has a tip with an inner diameter smaller than the coupling fixture's inner diameter. A shell is connected to the coupling fixture and the seal. The shell extends axially from the seal and is connectable to the receiving port.

Light-transmissive plastic plate structure with curved surface and method for fabricating the same
The invention refers to a light-transmissive plastic plate structure suitable for vehicle sunroof with curved surface and a method for fabricating the same. By using polymer material formulation, UV resistant coating formulation and precision coating technology, the wear resistance of polymer surface of plastic substrate can be improved to the same level as glass, and the original optical and physical properties after various environmental tests can also be maintained. The plastic substrate is first formed into a curved plastic plate through a hot pressing process, and then a connecting structure is formed and fixed on the plastic plate by an insert-molding injection process, in order to replace the traditional car sunroof mechanism which is assembled by glass plate bonded with metal connecting parts. The light-transmissive plastic plate structure with curved surface comprises a lightweight polymer sunroof and a lightweight plastic connecting structure fixed to the sunroof by insert-molding injection, which can reduce the weight of traditional glass sunroof, front and rear windshield, and side window glass assembly, and is particularly suitable for use in oil-electric hybrid vehicles and pure-electric vehicles that require lightweight specifications.
DUST PROOF SLEEVE
The dust proof sleeve comprises a rubber tubular bellows part (1) with an opening at both ends for sliding onto an element fitted with the dust proof sleeve. The bellows part (1) comprises an accordion-shaped undulated wall with circumferential peaks (2) and circumferential valleys (3). The dust proof sleeve further comprises at least one reinforcement (4), which is arranged at least along a part of the circumference of the bellows part (1) and adjoins the circumferential shape of the bellows part (1). The at least one reinforcement (4) is at least partly integrated in the bellows part (1) by vulcanization. The invention further comprises a dust proof sleeve production mould and a dust proof sleeve production method.
FILTER FOR A VENT OPENING OF A CONTAINER
A filter for a vent opening of a container comprises a filter element and a flange which surrounds the filter element. The filter element and the flange are integrated by means of an injection molding process, in which material is injected against a solid filter element in a mold, from which material the flange arises after curing. The filter element has an edge portion which extends in its circumferential direction. The edge portion has a front side, a back side and a side edge extending between the front side and the back side. The back side is covered the flange and the side edge in circumferential direction of the edge portion is alternatingly entirely and partly covered from the back side by the material of the flange. At the locations where the side edge is entirely covered the front side is also covered by the material of the flange.
