A radial-type magnetic encoder includes: an annular fixing member; and an annular plastic magnet attached to the annular fixing member. The annular fixing member includes the cylindrical portion, an outward flange portion extending outward in a radial direction from an edge of the cylindrical portion, and a sensor opposed portion bent from an edge of the outward flange portion and opposed to a magnetic sensor which detects rotation of the magnetic encoder, and the annular fixing member has a substantially U-shaped sectional shape along a plane including the radial direction and an axial direction. The annular plastic magnet has a shape that covers a front surface, a back surface, and an end edge of the sensor opposed portion, and an outer-diameter-side part of the outward flange portion.
Method for manufacturing a toothed wheel with reinforcing strapping
A method of manufacturing a wheel has a step (a) during which, by injecting a first polymer material into a first mold, a bearing core is created that extends from a radially internal wall that forms the ball of a steering axis, as far as a radially external peripheral edge, followed by a step (b) of coating during which step a coating layer is overmolded in a second polymer material over the bearing core to form a rim around the peripheral edge, the method being such that during step (a) of creating the bearing core, a preformed reinforcing hoop made of a third material referred to as reinforcing material is placed in the first mold then the reinforcing hoop is at least partially embedded in the peripheral edge during injection of the first material.
Method for manufacturing a lightened toothed wheel by double overmoulding
The invention relates to a method for producing a gear, said method including a step (a) during which a supporting core is made from a first polymer material, said supporting core comprising a hub, with a director axis (XX), as well as a flange which extends radially from said hub to a peripheral flanged edge, said method then involves a coating step (b) which comprises producing a permanent coating layer, made of a second polymer material, by overmolding on the supporting core, including integrally both a front layer which covers the upper surface of the flange, and a side layer which extends said front layer axially by covering the outer radial surface of the flanged edge, such that said side layer forms a rim, the teeth of the gear being made in the radial body of said rim.
Insert sintered part and manufacturing method for same
By using a forming die having a fixed die and a movable die moving along a parting surface on the fixed die and by moving the movable die along the parting surface, to press and hold a sintered part between the movable die and the fixed die, to form a cavity around the sintered part except parts which abut on the fixed die and the movable die by the forming die, and to fill the cavity with melted material which becomes an exterior part, so that the sintered part and the exterior part are integrated by insert molding.
Composite plastic lens and method of manufacturing the same
A composite plastic lens including: a lens having a convex surface, a lens back surface, and a protrusion formed on at least part of an periphery; and a holder, the lens and the holder being molded integrally, wherein the cross-sectional shape of at least part of the lens including an optical axis on the convex surface side is such that a profile line on the convex surface side is curved in a direction getting closer to the lens back side as it goes from the optical axis side toward a turning point out of an optical effective area, and the cross sectional shape of the protrusion is inverted from the turning point out of the optical effective area toward the periphery in a direction away from the lens back surface, and the holder is fitted to the protrusion so as to include the turning point and is molded integrally on the peripheral side of the resin lens.
Opening device and apparatus for moulding an opening device on a sheet packaging material
An opening device for a package made of a sheet packaging materialsaid sheet packaging material comprising at least a first layer and a second layer, and having a hole formed through said first layer and sealed by a cover portion of said second layeris made of plastic material molded onto said cover portion, and in turn comprises a spout defining a pouring opening and a wall portion closing said pouring opening, said wall portion defining, together with said cover portion, a user-removable sealing portion of said spout, a weakening region being interposed between said wall portion and said spout and said cover portion covering said weakening region; a molding apparatus for molding an opening device on a sheet packaging material is also disclosed.
RADIAL-TYPE MAGNETIC ENCODER, BEARING DEVICE PROVIDED WITH RADIAL-TYPE MAGNETIC ENCODER, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING RADIAL-TYPE MAGNETIC ENCODER
Collapsible Shape-Retaining Containers
Collapsible containers and a method of their manufacture are disclosed herein. The collapsible containers have one or more collapsible wall sections and a stiff upper and lower tier. The wall sections have living hinges and three or more tiers between the hinges. A thermoplastic elastomer layer may join separately made portions of the container together. The containers may be made by molding and overmolding. The containers include inter alia bulk liquid containers, jugs, tubs, baskets, bottles, and food containers. The method of manufacturing includes placing a container component and a matching container body comprising a stiff first tier, a stiff second tier, and a collapsible wall section in a mold; assembling the container body with the container component to close one end of the container body; and overmolding a thermoplastic layer around the container body and the container component.
