A method for producing an arrangement for a vehicle roof can have the steps of providing a first element with a first end and a second end, the element being couplable by the first end to the vehicle roof. The method can also have the steps of providing a pumpable substance with predetermined material properties, and applying the provided substance by injection molding at a predetermined position at the second end of the first element and thereby forming a second element such that the second element is coupled to the first element and is pivotable relative to the first element about an axis of rotation (A). An arrangement and system for a vehicle roof is also provided.

Multi-camera vision system for a vehicle

A multi-camera vision system for a vehicle includes a plurality of cameras viewing exterior the equipped vehicle and at least one non-visual sensor sensing exterior of the equipped vehicle. Captured image data and sensor data are provided to a central data processor. At the central data processor, image data is fused with sensor data and processed in order to detect vehicles that are present external the equipped vehicle. The central data processor includes a digital signal processor operable to process data at a data processioning speed of at least 30 MIPS. Via processing at the central data processor of image data and sensor data, a potential hazard present exterior the equipped vehicle is determined to exist. The potential hazard arises from presence of rear-approaching traffic in at least one of (i) a side lane to the equipped vehicle and (ii) a rear lane to the equipped vehicle.

METHOD FOR FAST MOLDING FLEXIBLE PLASTIC ON FABRIC AND PRODUCT THEREOF
20180264757 · 2018-09-20 ·

Disclosed a method for fast molding a flexible plastic on a fabric and a product thereof. A fabric on which molding is to be applied is provided with a bottom paper that is temporarily and adhesively attached to a bottom surface of the fabric. The fabric and the bottom paper are collectively punched to form material feeding holes corresponding to mold cavities and are then collectively clamped in a mold that includes at least two mold blocks for injection molding. The first mold block includes multiple dot-like mold cavities formed thereon and arranged in a predetermined pattern. The second mold block includes channel-like cavities thereon for a plastic material to flow therethrough. Injection is conducted to mold the flexible plastic such that the plastic is forced, under impact by high temperature and high pressure, into a surface of the fabric and thus molded thereon.

Integral Plastic Ball Valve For Fluid Transmission And Manufacturing Process
20180209549 · 2018-07-26 ·

The inventive concept discloses a completely integral ball valve manufactured by an injection molding process. The device comprises a valve core, a valve housing, a valve control handle, and inlet/outlet flow pipes, all forming an integral structure. The valve core is the primary component of the ball valve, and is comprised of a spherical enclosure, a valve ball, left and right leakage seal rings, a spherical enclosure cap, a valve stem affixed to the valve ball, and a valve handle. The valve core, valve housing, and left and right intake/outflow pipes are integrally assembled by injection molding. The injection molding process gives the ball valve higher flexion strength and greater durability as compared to the typical sweat soldering process. Precisely dimensioned mold sections ensure the accuracy of dimensions, fittings, and tolerances of the ball valve components during the injection molding. Primary materials used are polypropylene and high-density polyethylene
