Method for forming a fiber-reinforced cable tie
A method for forming a fiber-reinforced cable tie includes placing at least one reinforcing fiber in a mold cavity, injecting a molten material in the mold cavity, wherein the molten material defines a melt front during injection, and maintaining a position of the reinforcing fiber within the mold cavity at the melt front during the injecting of the melt, whereby the fiber is substantially encapsulated by the molten material. A mold for forming a fiber-reinforced cable tie includes a mold cavity and a fiber guide movably supported within the mold cavity for maintaining a position of a reinforcing fiber placed within the mold cavity during injection of a molten material into the mold cavity.
METHODS FOR FORMING HEAT-RESISTANT POLYURETHANE COVERS FOR GOLF BALLS
The present invention provides methods for producing golf balls having polyurethane covers and the resultant balls. Multi-piece golf balls having an inner core and outer cover with one or more intermediate layers disposed between the core and cover can be formed. The methods involve producing hydroxyl-terminated adducts and isocyanate-terminated prepolymers. Thermoset and thermoplastic polyurethane compositions can be prepared. The resulting polyurethane compositions and golf ball covers have high thermal stability and good wear-resistance and durability.
VAPORIZER HEATING ELEMENT ASSEMBLIES AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING SAME
A vaporizer heating element assembly has a case structure with a plurality of walls collectively defining a case interior. An upper wall has an access opening, a left wall has a reservoir window, and a lower wall has a vaporization window. A thin plate heating element formed from an electrically conductive material is positioned within the case structure parallel to the lower wall and adjacent the vaporization window. A liquid transport structure is configured for transporting liquid by capillary action from a liquid intake surface to a liquid outflow surface and is disposed within the case interior so that the liquid intake surface is adjacent the reservoir window and the liquid outflow surface is adjacent or in contact with the thin plate heating element. The heating element assembly also has an access closure sized and configured to seal the access opening.
Camera module, molded circuit board assembly, molded photosensitive assembly and manufacturing method thereof
A camera module, a molded circuit board assembly, a molded photosensitive assembly and manufacturing method thereof are disclosed. The camera module includes a molded base which is integrally formed with a circuit board through a molding process, wherein a photosensitive element may be electrically connected on the circuit board and at least a portion of a non-photosensitive area portion of the photosensitive element is also connected by the molded base through the molding process. A light window is formed in a central portion of the molded base to provide a light path for the photosensitive element, wherein a cross section of the light window is configured to have a trapezoidal or multi-step trapezoidal shape which has a size increasing from bottom to top to facilitate demoulding and avoiding stray lights.
VEHICLE-WINDOW GLASS ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A vehicle-window glass assembly includes a vehicle-window glass and its injection-molded encapsulation; and an over-molded bolt including a base, a thread rod and an injection-molded part. One end of the thread rod is fixedly connected to the base, and the injection-molded part covers at least a part of the base. The injection-molded encapsulation covers at least a part of the injection-molded part such that the over-molded bolt and the vehicle-window glass are fixed to each other, and a material of the injection-molded part has a tensile strength greater than that of a material of the injection-molded encapsulation. This vehicle-window glass assembly can b e adapted to various vehicle models with a large gap between a surface of a vehicle-window glass and a vehicle-door sheet metal on which the vehicle-window glass requires to be mounted.
THERMOPLASTIC POLYURETHANE COMPOSITION, GOLF BALL, AND METHOD FOR MAKING GOLF BALL
A thermoplastic polyurethane composition includes a first elastomer, a second elastomer, and a third elastomer. The first elastomer includes a first material and a plurality of fiber elements. The second elastomer includes a second material. The third elastomer includes a third material and an additive. Each of the first, second, and third materials is one of polyester-based thermoplastic polyurethane, polyether-based thermoplastic polyurethane, polycarbonate-based thermoplastic polyurethane, or combinations thereof. A golf ball and a method for making the golf ball are also provided herein.
