MECHANICAL INTERLOCK PIN ASSEMBLY
A mechanical interlock pin assembly includes a shaft having a first end and a second end. The mechanical interlock pin assembly includes a set of helical spline elements disposed at the first end of the shaft, the set of helical spline elements extending along a longitudinal axis of the shaft. The mechanical interlock pin assembly includes a bearing rotatably coupled to the second end of the shaft, the bearing configured to allow rotation of the shaft between a first rotational position and a second rotational position relative to a mold cavity.
Optical lens assembly and electronic device
An optical lens assembly has a central axis and includes at least one dual molded lens element. The dual molded lens element includes a light transmitting portion and a light absorbing portion, wherein the light transmitting portion includes an optical effective region and a lens peripheral region, and the lens peripheral region surrounds the optical effective region. The light absorbing portion surrounds the optical effective region. The light transmitting portion and the light absorbing portion are made of different plastic materials with different colors, and are integrally formed by an injection molding. The light transmitting portion or the light absorbing portion includes a plurality of annular convex structures, and the annular convex structures surround the central axis.
MOLDING PROCESS FOR FORMING THERMOPLASTIC ARTICLES
Provided is a molding system for molding a thermoplastic article. The molding system comprises a first mold half and a second mold half. The first and second mold halves together define a plurality of molding cavities in a first closed position. The plurality of cavities serve to mold a corresponding plurality of article components in a first molding stage. Subsequent the first molding stage, the first mold half is displaceable relative to the second mold half to align the plurality of article components formed during the first molding stage. During a second molding stage, the first and second mold halves are closed to a second closed position, to engage and bond together the plurality of article components into a finished thermoplastic article.
Method of manufacturing resin pipe
Two molded articles having a cylindrical two-piece split shape is formed by forming two primary cavities in a desired shape with molds assembled together and injecting a molten primary resin into the two primary cavities. An assist material is injected into a secondary cavity into which a molten secondary resin is injected in a state where the two molded articles are located opposed to each other via a space therebetween and internally fitted into one secondary cavity formed by the molds that are assembled together by shifting the positions. A flange portion having any desired shape is disposed on an outer circumferential surface of a resin pipe in a two-layer structure in which an inner surface layer formed of the cured secondary resin is integrated with an outer surface layer formed of the two molded articles. Thus, a portion having any desired shape is easily manufactured on the resin pipe.
Method of manufacturing in-mold decorative molded product
A method relates to manufacturing an in-mold decorative molded product including a transfer layer formed on a surface of an injection-molded product. The method includes inserting, in a first mold for injection molding, an in-mold transfer film including the transfer layer disposed on a base film; forming a molding injection space by mold clamping of the first mold and a second mold including a structure for injecting a molding resin into the molding injection space and a structure for holding the in-mold decorative molded product; and forming the in-mold decorative molded product by filling the molding injection space with the molding resin and then opening the first and second molds. When the base film is separated from the in-mold decorative molded product by opening the first and second molds, a peeling weight varies depending on a portion in an end part of the in-mold decorative molded product.
Method for the production of a plastic tank comprising an anti-slosh device
A process is disclosed for manufacturing at least one wall of a tank and comprises at least a first layer of thermoplastic and a second foam-based layer. The second foam-based layer forms at least part of an anti-slosh device, and the process is characterized in that the first layer and the second layer are molded in the same mold.
Method of injection molding a discrete part
A method and assembly for injection molding a part. The injection molding assembly has a frame and a core back assembly on the frame with a material controlling region. The core back assembly has first and second states with the material controlling region: i) in a first position with the core back assembly in the first state; and ii) in a second position with the core back assembly in the second state. First and second mold units are configured to be placed in operative relationship on the frame wherein the first and second mold units cooperate to form a mold cavity on the frame. The frame, core back assembly, and first and second mold units are configured so that the state of the core back assembly is changed as an incident of the first and second mold units being placed in the operative relationship.
Method of manufacturing a liquid ejection head
A method of manufacturing a liquid ejection head including a first step of having a molten resin becoming a first portion flow in between a first position in a first mold and a first position in a second mold and the molten resin becoming a second portion flow in between a second position in the first mold and a second position in the second mold; a second step of relatively moving the first and second molds, after opening the molds; a third step of closing the molds; a fourth step of joining the first and second portions, a fifth step of taking out the first and second portions and the sealing portion from the molds and mounting a recording element substrate; and a step of forming a space portion between a liquid supply path surface and a mounting surface.
