An instrument panel forming method is provided with: a first supply step for supplying a base material 103 that will form the base material part and the different material 303 that will form the different material part into the cavity; and a second supply step for opening, with the pressure applied on the different material 303 maintained to be greater than the pressure applied on the base material 103, the frame-shaped core 215 to bring the base material 103 into contact with the different material 303 and cause the different material 303 to protrude into the base material 103 in the central section of the boundary between the base material 103 and the different material 303 in the thickness direction of the base material 103 and the different material 303 where solidification of the base material 103 and the different material 303 is delayed.
Method of injection molding an article
The present invention relates to articles, systems, and methods for injection molding an article. The method includes directing a first shot of molten polymeric material into a mold cavity to form a first part while simultaneously occluding a portion of the gate orifice area with a mold core. Once the first shot is solidified, then the mold core is withdrawn and a second shot is directed into the space previously occupied by the mold core while a portion of the gate orifice area is occluded by the solidified first shot.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING IN-MOLD DECORATIVE MOLDED PRODUCT
A method of manufacturing an in-mold decorative molded product including a transfer layer formed on a surface of an injection-molded product, the method including: inserting in a first mold for injection molding an in-mold transfer film including the transfer layer disposed on a base film; forming a molding injection space by mold clamping of the first mold and a second mold including a structure for injecting a resin into the molding injection space and a structure for holding a molded product; and forming a molded product by filling the molding injection space with a molding resin and then opening the second mold and the first mold, wherein when the base film is separated from the in-mold decorative molded product integrated with and the transfer layer by opening the molds, a peeling weight varies depending on a portion in an end part of the in-mold decorative molded product so that a peeling starting point is generated from a position with a light peeling weight in the in-mold transfer film to peel the in-mold decorative molded product from the in-mold transfer film.
Articulated molding insert
A method and apparatus for forming a part having a cavity with a complex contour is presented. The molding apparatus comprises a mold cavity and a molding insert. The mold cavity is formed by a first mold portion and a second mold portion. The molding insert is within the mold cavity, wherein the molding insert has a forming surface, and wherein the molding insert is configured to move in more than one direction relative to the first mold portion.
Molding system with movable mold tool
An apparatus for molding a physical body comprising at least two mold materials, wherein the apparatus comprises a first mold tool and a second mold tool configured for defining a mold volume in between in which the physical body is moldable by supplying the at least two mold materials, and a supply unit configured for separately supplying the at least two mold materials to the mold volume, wherein at least part of at least one of the first mold tool and the second mold tool is movable to thereby increase the dimension of the mold volume after having supplied the first mold material to the mold volume and before and/or during supplying the second mold material to the mold volume.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR OVERMOLDING GUTTA-PERCHA ONTO CARRIERS
An apparatus and method for concentrically overmolding Gutta-Percha onto a carrier. A shape, structure and dimensions of gutta-percha may be configured into cavities of a mold having more retractable pins for concentrically overmolding the gutta-percha onto one or more carriers. The apparatus may preferably be automated/self-driven to concentrically overmold gutta-percha onto the carriers in multiple stages and cycles.
INJECTION MOLDING SYSTEM AND APPARATUS
This disclosure provides an injection molding system for use with a material, the system comprising: a heated barrel; a member mounted in the barrel for melting the material and for ejecting molten material; a pair of mold plates, one of the pair being operatively coupled to the barrel in use, the other of the pair being movable relative to other plate for movement between a closed position and an open position, characterized in that the barrel is defined by a nested part and a protruding part, the nested part having an external end which is disposed exteriorly of the one of the pair of mold plates and an internal end which, in use, is disposed interiorly of the one of the pair of mold plates and engaged therewith, the protruding part, in use, extending to the nested part and being releasably coupled thereto in end-to-end communicating relation.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING A HOLLOW INJECTION-MOULDED PART
The invention relates to a method for producing a hollow injection-moulded part, in particular a primary packaging means for medical applications by an injection moulding method, comprising the following method steps: a) Providing a first female die tool having a first mould cavity and a mould core formed as a male die tool; b) Introducing a mould core into the first mould cavity so that a first cavity is formed and the mould core extends beyond the mould cavity in the axial direction (X), thereby bringing the mould core into operative contact with the first female die tool and/or with a receiving member; c) Injecting a first plastic material into the first cavity so that a first portion of the injection-moulded part is formed; d) Transferring the first portion of the injection-moulded part to a second cavity; e) Injecting a second plastic material into the second cavity so that a second portion is formed directly on the first portion of the injection-moulded part.
Manufacturing method and manufacturing device for resin fan
A resin fan includes a semi-molded article in which a first circular plate and blades are integrated. While the semi-molded article is retained, a composite mold is moved to a secondary molding side, a second mold is put in a first position and a third mold is moved to the first position and inserted into the first mold. An intermediate part extends over the inner surface-side of a large-bend part, and causes the end of the third mold to engage with the first mold. Next, resin is poured into a secondary forming mold, and a second circular plate is integrally molded continuous with the blades of the semi-molded article, and a fan is molded. Together with the opening of the second mold and the composite mold, the third mold and the composite mold are opened, each of the molds is moved to a second position.
