MOLDED ARTICLE WITH SELECTIVELY VARIED CORE LAYER GEOMETRY AND HOT RUNNER NOZZLES FOR PRODUCING SAME
A molded article suitable for subsequent blow-molding into a final-shaped container. The article includes a neck portion; a gate portion; and a body portion extending between the neck portion and the gate portion, at least a majority of the body portion having an overall shape which is symmetric about a body axis extending longitudinally through a center of the body portion. The body portion includes an inner exterior layer and an outer exterior layer of a first polymeric material; and a core layer of a second polymeric material disposed between the inner exterior layer and the outer exterior layer. A radial thickness or a material of the core layer is selectively varied to govern non-uniform blow molding of the molded article into the final-shaped container.
Integrally blow-moulded bag-in-container comprising an inner layer ad an outer layer comprising energy absorbing additives, preform for making it and process for producing it
The present invention relates to an integrally blow-moulded bag-in-container (2) and preform (1, 1) for blow-moulding the bag-in-container. An inner layer (11) and an outer layer (12) are used, wherein the preform forms a two-layer container upon blow-moulding, and wherein the obtained inner layer of the container releases from the thus obtained outer layer upon introduction of a gas at a point of interface (14) between the two layers. At least one of the inner and outer layers includes at least one additive allowing both inner and outer layers to reach their respective blow-moulding temperatures substantially simultaneously.
Container with synthetic resin window, preform, and preform injection molding apparatus
To solve a problem associated with formation of a transparent window portion in a biaxially stretch blow molded container by a nozzle structure of an injection molding apparatus, provided is a biaxially stretch blow molded container formed with a clearly transparent window portion in longitudinal strip shape by effectively preventing mixture of colored resin to window portion. Injection molding apparatus includes in nozzle portion a longitudinal groove flow path, wherein a transparent B resin flows. By, for example, reducing and increasing, respectively, the width and depth of the longitudinal groove flow path on the downstream side, and engraving slits in an inner mandrel and even in a front end portion of a stopper pin, flowability of the B resin in a horizontal direction is enhanced.
INTEGRALLY BLOW-MOULDED BAG-IN-CONTAINER HAVING AN INNER LAYER AND THE OUTER LAYER MADE OF THE SAME MATERIAL AND PREFORM FOR MAKING IT
The present invention relates to an integrally blow-moulded bag-in-container (2) having an integrally blow-moulded bag-in-container wherein the same polymer is in contact on either side of the interface between the inner (11) and outer layers (12). It also concerns a preform (1, 1) for blow-moulding a bag-in-container, having an inner layer and an outer layer, wherein the preform forms a two-layer container upon blow-moulding, and wherein the thus obtained inner layer of the container releases from the thus obtained outer layer upon introduction of a gas at a point of interface between the two layers. The inner and outer layers are of the same material.

Dispenser container
The invention relates to a dispenser container consisting of an outer container and an inner container for receiving a fluid, wherein the outer container and the inner container are formed from blow-moulded plastics, which do not form an integral connection with one another, and wherein a first plastic from which the inner container is formed has a higher elasticity than a second plastic from which the outer container is formed, such that the inner container is deformable, and wherein the outer container has at least one pressure compensation opening for pressure compensation in the region between the outer container and the inner container, wherein the inner container has a first outlet region and the outer container has a second outlet region, wherein the first outlet region can be shifted relative to the second outlet region in an outlet direction.
Integrally blow-moulded bag-in-container having an inner layer and the outer layer made of the same material and preform for making it
An integrally blow-moulded bag-in-container has as integrally blow-moulded bag-in-container wherein the same polymer is in contact on either side of the interface between the inner and outer layers. A preform for blow-moulding a bag-in-container has an inner layer and an outer layer, wherein the preform forms a two-layer container upon blow-moulding, and wherein the thus obtained inner layer of the container releases from the thus obtained outer layer upon introduction of a gas at a point of interface between the two layers. The inner and outer layers are of the same material.
MOLDED ARTICLE, CONTAINER AND A METHOD FOR THE MOLDING AND RECYCLING THEREOF
Disclosed herein, amongst other things, is a molded article, such as a preform that is blow moldable to form a container, and a related method of forming and recycling a container. The structure and steps includes injection molding a molded article having tubular body.
Extruded multi-layer molded running board
A vehicle running board includes opposing vertical walls extending along a length of a tubular structure and including a carbon-fiber component. Opposing horizontal walls extend between the opposing vertical walls and include a glass component. The opposing vertical and opposing horizontal walls form the tubular structure having a generally rectilinear cross section. A polymer outer covering extends over the opposing vertical and opposing horizontal walls.
