The invention is an integrally blow-moulded bag-in-container and preform for making it. The bag-in-container has an inner layer forming the bag and an outer layer forming the container, and a mouth fluidly connecting the volume defined by the bag to the atmosphere. The container further has at least one interface vent fluidly connecting the interface between inner and outer layers to the atmosphere, wherein the at least one vent runs parallel to the interface between inner and outer layers and opens to the atmosphere at a location adjacent to, and oriented coaxially with the bag-in-container's mouth. Processes for manufacturing a preform and a bag-in-container as defined above are defined too.
OVER-MOLDED PREFORM SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system for forming injection molded articles includes a turret, a first mold unit, and a second mold unit. In an embodiment, the turret includes a plurality of core plates and each core plate includes a plurality of core pins. The first mold unit may be configured to form an inner injection molded layer, and the second mold unit may be configured to form an outer injection molded layer over the inner injection molded layer. In an embodiment, the first mold unit and the second mold unit are configured to mold at the same time, and to provide opposing clamping forces. Processes involving over-molded articles are also disclosed.
Container with synthetic resin window, preform, and preform injection molding apparatus
An injection molded test-tube-shaped preform, which is subjected to biaxial stretch blow molding, includes a circumferential wall including a longitudinal strip-shaped portion that is made of a transparent or a semi-transparent B resin and that is formed in a longitudinal strip shape penetrating the circumferential wall in a circumferentially predetermined position in the circumferential wall over a predetermined height range. A remaining portion of the circumferential wall excluding the longitudinal strip-shaped portion is made of an A resin that is obtained by coloring a synthetic resin. A portion of the B resin constituting the longitudinal strip-shaped portion flows around an opposite side to the circumferentially predetermined position in which the longitudinal strip-shaped portion is formed, to be laminated in the vicinity of a portion of the circumferential wall made of the A resin that is close to an inner circumferential surface of the circumferential wall.

CONTAINER WITH SYNTHETIC RESIN WINDOW, PREFORM, AND PREFORM INJECTION MOLDING APPARATUS
To solve a problem associated with formation of a transparent window portion in a biaxially stretch blow molded container by a nozzle structure of an injection molding apparatus, provided is a biaxially stretch blow molded container formed with a clearly transparent window portion in longitudinal strip shape by effectively preventing mixture of colored resin to window portion. Injection molding apparatus includes in nozzle portion a longitudinal groove flow path, wherein a transparent B resin flows. By, for example, reducing and increasing, respectively, the width and depth of the longitudinal groove flow path on the downstream side, and engraving slits in an inner mandrel and even in a front end portion of a stopper pin, flowability of the B resin in a horizontal direction is enhanced.
Extruded multi-layer molded running board
A vehicle running board includes opposing vertical walls extending along a length of a tubular structure and including a carbon-fiber component. Opposing horizontal walls extend between the opposing vertical walls and include a glass component. The opposing vertical and opposing horizontal walls form the tubular structure having a generally rectilinear cross section. A polymer outer covering extends over the opposing vertical and opposing horizontal walls.
Container with synthetic resin window, preform, and preform injection molding apparatus
A biaxially stretch blow molded container is formed with a clearly transparent window portion in a longitudinal strip shape by preventing mixture and cut-in of a colored resin to the window portion. In a predetermined range extending from an upstream end to a downstream position of a flow path including a cylindrical flow path and a reduced-diameter flow path formed in a nozzle portion, a pair of guiding ribs in the form of longitudinal ridges is linearly arranged partitioning the flow path in a circumferential direction, and a longitudinal groove flow path is formed between the guiding ribs. A molten B resin is supplied to the longitudinal groove flow path, and a molten A resin is supplied to the cylindrical flow path excluding the longitudinal groove flow path. The longitudinal strip-shaped flow path of the B resin interrupts the cylindrical flow path of the A resin in the circumferential direction.
Overmolded container having an inner foamed layer
An overmolded preform and a container blow molded from the same are disclosed, wherein the overmolded preform and the overmolded container include an inner foamed layer.

Thus, the longitudinal strip-shaped flow path of the B resin interrupts the cylindrical flow path of the A resin in the circumferential direction.
