An injection molding machine for injecting a molten resin into a cavity of a molding die clamped in a die clamping unit via a nozzle formed in a heating cylinder to form a resin article includes a drive source. The drive source is configured to move the nozzle between a first position with the nozzle coupled to the molding die and a second position with the nozzle decoupled from the molding die. The drive source is also configured to pull out the molding die from the die clamping unit and to push the molding die into the die clamping unit.

A mounting stand for an injection molding machine has a base member and an erecting member, to which an injection apparatus is attached, vertically arranged on the base member, and is movable with respect to a support supporting the base member. An injection molding machine includes, on a machine base, a mold having a stationary platen, an injection unit having a nozzle for injecting a molten material into the mold, a nozzle touch mechanism for pressing the nozzle against the mold, and a connecting member for connecting the nozzle touch mechanism and the stationary platen. The connecting member has a support base and an arm part, and also has a first connecting part to be connected to the nozzle touch mechanism on the support base, and a second connecting part to be connected to the stationary platen on an upper part of the arm part. The injection molding machine is configured so that a nozzle touch force is transmitted to the nozzle touch mechanism via the stationary platen and the connecting member. The second connecting part of the connecting member is disposed to be rotatable in a direction along a moving direction of the injection unit.

A machine base supports at least one of a clamping unit and an injection unit of an injection molding machine from below. The machine base includes an upper frame extended horizontally and configured to support at least one of the clamping unit and the injection unit. The upper frame has a hollow member and a plate member having a concave cross-section, attached to an upper surface of the hollow member. The plate member and the hollow member are formed with a through hole penetrating from an upper surface of the plate member to a hollow portion in the hollow member.

The present invention relates to a position determining mechanism for a rotary platen. The rotary platen is disposed to face a mold platen and is provided to be rotatable with respect to the mold platen. The position determining mechanism includes a position determination part which is provided to one platen of the mold platen and the rotary platen, and a position determination driving mechanism which is provided to the other platen, in which the position determination driving mechanism includes a press member and a pressing device, and when the press member is pressed by the pressing device and the press member is fitted into the position determination part, a rotation position of the rotary platen is determined.

An apparatus for injecting a molten material including an injector, a rail, a bell crank, and a frame supporting the injector via the rail for guiding the linear translation of the injector along the frame.
