Method and apparatus for manufacturing foamed product
The method for manufacturing a foamed product uses a manufacturing apparatus having a plasticizing cylinder in which an introduction port for introducing a physical blowing agent into a starvation zone is formed, and an introduction speed adjustment container connected to the introduction port, wherein the manufacturing method comprises: turning a thermoplastic resin into a molten resin; introducing the physical blowing agent at a predetermined pressure into the starvation zone through the introduction speed adjustment container and maintaining the starvation zone at a predetermined pressure; setting the molten resin to a starved state; bringing the molten resin in the starved state and the pressurized fluid into contact with each other; and molding the molten resin into a foamed product. The maximum value of the inner diameter of the introduction speed adjustment container is larger than the inner diameter of the introduction port.

To provide a heated cylinder for resin melting in a molding machine which realizes high material supply/transport performance, cost reduction, and more favorable maintenance performance, while making the plan view/plan sectional view shape of a resin charging port into a circular shape. The resin charging port of the heated cylinder is formed to include: an upper charging path section formed in a circular shape in a plan sectional view; a lower charging path section which is formed in a square shape or oblong hole shape in a plan sectional view; and an intermediate charging path section which smoothly links an inner surface of the upper charging path section and an inner surface of the lower charging path section.

An injection molding apparatus having a valve pin plate coupling at least one valve pin to an actuator which, in operation, axially moves the valve pin plate between a closed position and an open position. The valve pin is coupled to the valve pin plate via a valve pin coupler. A biasing member is compressed against a support surface by the valve pin holder when the valve pin plate is in the closed position to create a supplementary coupling force coupling the valve pin to the valve pin holder.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AN OPTICAL LENS
A method for manufacturing an optical lens includes pressing a fluid-state optical material by using a solid-state optical material to inject the fluid-state optical material molten from the solid-state optical material into a cavity. The solid-state optical material is molten only at the part adjacent to the cavity to form the fluid-state optical material, which facilitates transport of the optical material and minimizes residual waste. The pressing force applied to the solid-state optical material can be controlled to hence control the moving rate of the solid-state optical material, thereby precisely controlling the injection volume and injection rate of the fluid-state optical material.
Resin supply systems
Resin supply system in which resin material is stored in a pouch in a degassed state ready for use. The pouch comprises a body portion forming a reservoir for resin material and a connector portion in fluid communication therewith. The connector portion includes an outlet which is configured to be connected to an injector head of an injector assembly, the injector head being connectable to a mould by means of connecting tubing to provide a resin supply thereto. The pouch is configured to be mountable in a housing of the injector assembly and is compressed by hydrostatic pressure of water surrounding the pouch in a chamber of the housing. The application of pressure by a piston moving in a direction transfers pressure to the water and then to the pouch in a controlled manner to provide the resin supply to the mould. After use, the pouch is removed and discarded thereby substantially eliminating the need for cleaning of the housing after use.

The plunger discharges the molten resin reserved in the reserving portion. The valve member is provided in the connecting channel and the second partial channel. The first partial channel and the relay channel are connected to the connecting channel so as to intersect with the connecting channel. The valve member includes a first valve portion and a second valve portion.
