CONSTANT PRESSURE FILAMENT DRIVER FOR EXTRUDER HEADS IN THREE-DIMENSIONAL OBJECT PRINTERS
An additive manufacturing system includes a slip clutch coupled to an actuator of a mechanical driver that feeds solid extrusion material into a heater for supplying thermoplastic material to a manifold in an extruder head. A speed of the actuator can be set to enable the actuator to operate at a rotational speed that is slightly greater than the rotational speed of the mechanical mover. This configuration enables the pressure of the thermoplastic material in the manifold of the extruder head to be in a predetermined range no matter how many nozzles are opened in the extruder head.
MOLTEN RESIN EXTRUSION DEVICE AND EXTRUSION METHOD AS WELL AS MOLTEN RESIN MOLDING APPARATUS AND MOLDING METHOD
Provided is a method for extruding molten resin in a charging space from a head by converting a rotational motion of an electric motor into a linear motion of a piston disposed in the charging space through a ball screw and thus causing the piston to move vertically, the charging space being a space into which the molten resin can be charged and formed in an accumulator, the head having an extrusion port at a lower end thereof. The method includes a step of separating an upper plate from a lower plate and retracting the upper plate upward by a rotational motion of the electric motor and then charging the molten resin into the charging space with a sufficient charging pressure to push up the piston against weights of the lower plate and the piston in the charging space, the lower plate being disposed over the accumulator and coupled to the piston from above, the upper plate being engaged with the electric motor through a screwing relationship and disposed over the lower plate so as to be able to surface-contact the lower plate and a step of extruding the molten resin from the extrusion port by moving the upper plate downward with the upper plate and the lower plate surface-contacting each other by a rotational motion of the electric motor and thus moving the piston downward in the charging space.
MATERIAL PROCESSING UNIT CONTROLLED BY ROTATION
An interchangeable unit adapted to couple to a computer numerical control (CNC) machine is disclosed comprising a holder that couples to a spindle of the CNC machine, a controller, wherein said controller is configured to receive the rotational speed of the spindle as an input, and a material processing unit, wherein said material processing unit executes a first function in response to a first rotational speed range of the spindle and executes a second function in response to a second rotational speed range of the spindle.
GEAR PUMP EXTRUDING MACHINE
A gear pump extruding machine for extruding a rubber material includes a screw feeder, a gear pump provided on an outlet side of the screw feeder, and a die disposed on an outlet side of the gear pump. The gear pump extruding machine further includes protrusive members that are movable forward and rearward to protrude into a fluid communication channel that keeps the screw feeder and the gear pump in fluid communication with each other, to thereby change the volume of the fluid communication channel. An actuator is provided for moving the protrusive members to protrude into the fluid communication channel, and is controlled by a controller. When the volume of the fluid communication channel is changed, the rate at which the rubber material is extruded is adjusted to prevent the rubber material from being warmed excessively at all times.
EXTRUDER DIE PLATE FOR REDUCED STRAND SURGING
The present disclosure relates to an extrusion system including a die plate configuration to reduce inconsistent flow of an extruded product and the accompanying distortions of the extruded product.
Thrust load measuring device for sealed mixing device and calibration method for same
The relative displacement in the axial direction between an outer ring fixing member or casing and an inner ring fixing member or rotor is determined, said outer ring fixing member being a member for affixing an outer ring of a bearing on one side, and said inner ring fixing member being a member for affixing an inner ring of the bearing on the one end side. When calculating a thrust load acting on the rotor by multiplying the determined relative displacement by a conversion coefficient, an axial force measuring bolt is used as a tightening bolt for affixing the bearing on the one end side, said axial force measuring bolt enabling measurement of a load acting in the axial direction. The axial force measured by the axial force measuring bolt and the relative displacement during measurement of the axial force are used to calibrate the conversion coefficient.
Kneading method and apparatus
A method and apparatus for a reciprocating kneader. A primary rotational gear is attached to a gear box primary shaft and rotates in concert therewith and engages a secondary rotational gear. The primary rotational gear drive provides a primary source of rotation for a kneading screw and for the secondary gear as a secondary source of rotation. An adjustable eccentric is coupled to the secondary oscillation gear and rotates in concert therewith for reciprocation motion.
Device and procedure for extrusion and application of spacer profile of an insulating glass
The present relates to a device and a procedure for the extrusion and application of a spacer profile of insulating glass, particularly for a machine adapted to compose the spacer frame directly against one or more glass panes constituting the insulating glass starting from a thermoplastic product prevalently contained in drums, displacing the extrados thereof to an adjustable and controlled distance referred to the margin of one or more glass panes.
Methods of manufacturing high-altitude balloons
A method of fabricating a high-altitude balloon. The method includes coextruding at least two adjacent continuous layers of extrudate, extrusion-bonding the layers of extrudate to one another along an edge of the sheets of extrudate to form a seam, and cooling the extrudate.
MOLDING MACHINE SYSTEM, TORQUE DERIVATION SYSTEM, TORQUE DERIVATION METHOD AND PROGRAM
Dimensional limitation in attachment of a torque detection device in a molding machine is reduced. A molding machine system is provided, the molding machine system including: a molding machine including a cylinder, a first screw and a second screw embedded in the cylinder, and a motor rotationally driving the first screw and the second screw; a feature-amount identification apparatus detecting a torque of the motor as one example of a feature amount related to an operation state of the molding machine; a torque detection device attached to a rotational shaft of the first screw and detecting a torque of the first screw; and a torque derivation apparatus deriving a torque of the second screw from the torque of the motor detected by the feature-amount identification apparatus and the torque of the first screw detected by the torque detection device.
