METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A SERIES OF CONTAINERS COMPRISING A STEP FOR MARKING CONTAINERS
Method for the production of containers from a series of plastic preforms heated in a container production facility having at least one heating station, a forming machine with a number of forming stations, one or more treatment machines with a number of treatment stations. The method includes: forming the preforms in the forming machine; treating the individual containers in the treatment machine; and circulating each container held individually between the forming machine and the treatment machine(s). The method also includes individual identification of each container that is produced during a predetermined tracking period, an individual identification phase including a marking step during which each individual container that is produced during the tracking period receives a marking that matches the container, making it possible to identify individually the container by distinguishing it from all of the other containers produced by the production facility during the tracking period.
CONTAINER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF
A container includes a plastics pressure vessel defining a hollow interior volume suitable for containing a quantity of a liquid, and comprising an inlet/outlet aperture extending through a wall thereof, and being in fluid communication with the hollow interior thereof. An insert, manufactured from a different, harder plastics material to that of the pressure vessel is provided within the inlet/outlet aperture, which is sealingly united (fused) with a periphery of the container to be securely retained therein. The plastics pressure vessel can be blow moulded around the insert so as to sealingly unite or fuse with the insert in the region of the interface between the different materials of which vessel and insert are formed. The insert may have a series of flats machined or otherwise formed around and into its outer circumferential surface so the insert is inhibited from axially or rotationally displacing relative to the pressure vessel.
FIBER-BASED CONTAINER
The invention relates to a fiber-based container comprising a first layer made of compressed pulp, which forms a dimensionally stable sleeve and encloses an interior. The sleeve is at least partially coated with a second layer made of a partially crystalline polyester, and the partially crystalline polyester is applied in the form of a fluid or powder.
Systems and methods for filling containers with liners
A system, that includes a container, that includes a first container opening, a liner disposed in the first container opening, a pump connected to the container, and a controller, where the controller is programmed to perform a method for filling the container with the liner, that includes making a first determination that a power on condition is satisfied, in response to the first determination, providing power to the pump, and after providing the power to the pump, making a second determination that a power off condition is satisfied, and in response to the second determination, cutting the power to the pump.
Multi-Barrier Bottles Having Tabbed Preforms, and Methods of Forming The Same
Multi-barrier bottles having tabbed preforms, as well as methods of forming the same are disclosed. A tabbed preform includes an elongate body extending into a cavity of a first barrier, where the cavity is defined by at least one piece having a recess therein. The tabbed preform further includes at least one preform extension piece extending from the elongate body at a predetermined distance from a top surface of the elongate body. The at least one preform extension piece is sized and shaped to correspond to a size and a shape of the recess.
Prosthetic heart valve and delivery apparatus
The present disclosure is directed to embodiments of catheter-based prosthetic heart valves, and in particular, prosthetic heart valves having sealing members configured to seal the interface between the prosthetic valve and the surrounding tissue of the native annulus in which the prosthetic valve is implanted. The present disclosure also discloses new methods of making an introducer sheath with an inner liner for percutaneous insertion of a medical device into a patient.
HYDROGEN TANK BODY AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME, AND HYDROGEN TANK AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME
A hydrogen tank body includes a base layer formed of a synthetic resin selected from the group consisting of silicon resin, polyphenylene sulfide, polybutylene terephthalate, polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene, polyethylene, and polycarbonate, and a liner layer formed of hydrogen impermeable resin, on an inside wall surface of the base layer.
Process and machinery for integration of discrete parts into composite containers
A process of manual, semi-automatic and fully-automated integration of discrete components into a container that results in fast, reliable, cost-effective, and scalable production of composite containers is disclosed. The process can be embodied in manufacturing equipment that has a series of stations and may be called an assembly device. The equipment can produce containers, tubs, canisters, cartridges, etc. which are easily separated into different bio-degradable or compostable parts. Other container types are possible and are contemplated.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR LOADING A FIBRE-BASED CONTAINER WITH A PREFORM AND FOR INSERTING THE CONTAINER INTO A BLOW MOLD
The invention relates to a device and a method for loading a fiber-based container (20) with a preform (30), comprising the following steps:
providing a container (20) on a rotary plate (40);
rotating the rotary plate (40) together with the container (20) into a predetermined position;
inserting a preform (30) into the container (20); the invention also relates to a method for inserting a fiber-based container (20), together with a preform (30) arranged therein, into a blow mold (80).
