KNIT TEXTILES AND UPPERS, AND PROCESSES FOR MAKING THE SAME
Articles of wear having one or more textiles that include a low processing temperature polymeric composition and a high processing temperature polymeric composition, and methods of manufacturing the same are disclosed. The low processing temperature polymeric composition and the high processing temperature polymeric composition can be selectively incorporated into a textile to provide one or more structural properties and/or other advantageous properties to the article. The textile can be thermoformed to impart such structural and/or other advantageous properties to the article of wear. This abstract is intended as a scanning tool for purposes of searching in the particular art and is not intended to be limiting of the present disclosure.
Constrained Forming of Contoured Composite Hat Stringers
Cap wrinkling in a contoured composite hat stringer is reduced by constraining the cap as the hat stringer is being formed from a flat composite charge. The cap is constrained by an inflatable bladder placed in a tool set used to form the composite charge.
Composite Foam Article
A composite foam article is disclosed herein. The composite foam article comprises a polyurethane foam core presenting a first surface and a second surface facing opposite the first surface. A first skin is disposed on the first surface and a second skin is disposed on the second surface. The first and second skins comprise a plurality of fibers and a polymeric binder. The composite foam article also comprises at least one supplemental layer comprising an ethylene and acrylic acid copolymer dispersed in and/or disposed between any of said aforementioned skins and core.

Hard case for containing objects and manufacturing method thereof
A hard case for housing and transporting objects includes a first shell and a second shell, hinges for connecting the shells and enabling the latter to be arranged in a closed configuration or in an open configuration, and a closing device to lock the shells in the closed configuration. The shells include respective main panels formed by thermoforming an interwoven polypropylene sheet including a plurality of superimposed layers, each layer having oriented polypropylene fibers therein, the layers being arranged to interweave the superimposed fibers, and respective side elements including respective interface edges intended to be coupled to each other in the closed configuration. The side elements are made of polypropylene by injection molding and are fixed to the main panels to carry out respective joining portions in which the injected polypropylene of the side elements and the interwoven polypropylene of the main panels are melted and joined to each other in order to form the shells in a single part and entirely made of polypropylene.
HAT WITH SEAMLESS TOP OF HAT AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
Disclosed are a hat and a manufacturing method therefor and a hat top shaping device, the hat comprising: a seamless hat top without seams, wherein same is integrally formed by hot stretching a piece of a flat knitted fabric blank containing a vitrifiable petroleum chemical fibre material; and a bongrace jointed to the seamless hat top. The hat top of the hat can save on the production time and cost. The hat top of the hat can be made into various hat types and a variety of raw materials can be selected for same. The hat top of the hat is a hat top without seams, completely fitting the user's headform, and can be made by selecting a breathable material, thereby improving the aesthetics and comfort when wearing same.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A CELLULOSE PRODUCT, CELLULOSE PRODUCT FORMING APPARATUS AND CELLULOSE PRODUCT
A method for manufacturing a cellulose product, comprising the steps: dry forming a cellulose blank in a dry forming unit; arranging the cellulose blank in a forming mould; heating the cellulose blank to a forming temperature in the range of 100° C. to 200° C.; and pressing the cellulose blank in the forming mould with a forming pressure of at least 1 MPa.
RESIN SHEET HAVING HAIR-LIKE BODIES, AND MOLDED ARTICLE OF RESIN SHEET HAVING HAIR-LIKE BODIES
[Problem] The objective of the present invention is to provide a resin sheet that has a favorable tactile sensation and no less than a certain light transmittance and a molded article thereof.
[Solution] A resin sheet that has hair-like bodies arranged regularly on at least one surface of an underlayer and in which a continuous phase is formed without any structural boundary between the underlayer and the hair-like bodies, wherein the average height of the hair-like bodies is no less than 30 μm and no greater than 500 μm, the total light transmittance of the resin sheet measured in accordance with JIS K 7136-1 is no less than 0.1% and no greater than 20%, and the contrast ratio of the resin sheet measured in accordance with JIS K 5600 4-1 is no less than 70% and no greater than 98%.
RE-MOLDABLE HOLSTER
A holster for a firearm is disclosed. The holster includes a first layer, a second layer and a third layer sandwiched between the first layer and the second layer. The first layer is made of a first material and defines an outer surface of the holster. The second layer is made of a second material and defines an inner surface of the holster. The third layer is made of a thermoplastic composite material with fibers embedded in a thermoplastic resin. A heating of the holster between a predetermined temperature range softens the third layer to facilitate a molding of the holster.
