APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR VACUUM SKIN PACKAGING OF A PRODUCT AND A SKIN PACKAGED PRODUCT
It is disclosed a process of packaging of product arranged on a support comprising providing a plastic film above said support with said product being arranged between the support and the film sheet, and air tightly fixing said film to said support. The process is implemented using an apparatus for packaging comprising a film supply assembly and a base equipment having an upper side defining one or more receiving areas, each one of the receiving areas being configured for receiving at least one respective product loaded support; an upper tool is configured for holding a film portion above the product loaded support and then heat sealing the film portion to the product loaded support. Each receiving area has a flat portion and elongated features protruding above the plane of flat portion. It is also disclosed a packaged product obtainable with said process and apparatus.
THERMOFORMING MULTIPLE ALIGNERS IN PARALLEL
A system is configured to manufacture an aligner. The system includes a heating section configured to heat a sheet of plastic to generate a heated sheet of plastic. The system further includes a plate configured to secure a mold associated with a dental arch of a patient. The plate includes a keyway and a pin. The mold includes a first feature configured to interface with the keyway and a second feature configured to interface with the pin. The system further includes a thermoforming chamber configured to thermoform the heated sheet of plastic to the mold that is secured to the plate via a first interface of the keyway with the first feature and a second interface of the pin with the second feature to generate a thermoformed sheet of plastic. The system further includes a cutting tool configured to trim the aligner from the thermoformed sheet of plastic.
DEEP-DRAWING APPARATUS, PACKAGING MACHINE HAVING A DEEP-DRAWING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE DEEP-DRAWING APPARATUS
The disclosure relates to a deep-drawing apparatus for deep-drawing a continuously fed film web, an associated packaging machine, and a corresponding method. A cyclically sequenced forming station, which runs along from a start position to an end position and runs back from there to the start position is provided, wherein individual format plates are sequentially firstly connected up to a forming vacuum device and then with a following holding vacuum channel. The forming vacuum device is part of the cyclically moved forming station. The holding vacuum channel includes two interlocking telescopic channel portions, a first telescopic channel portion being part of the cyclically moved forming station, and a second telescopic channel portion being mounted statically relative to the fixed machine frame.
Rapid response fabrication of marine vessel platforms
Marine vessels, including combatant (naval) vessels are produced inexpensively without requiring the use of as many skilled personnel as is conventional. The vessel produced has a high strength metal truss structure (both above and below the water line) capable of carrying major hull loads. A number of curved or doubly curved composite (e. g. GRP) panels produced by vacuum assisted resin transfer molding are fastened by bolts, marine adhesives, and/or rivets to the below water line portions of the truss structure where necessary to handle slamming loads and to reduce water resistance and wake. Substantially flat composite pultruded panels are fastened to the truss structure both above the water line, and below the water line where the resistance to slamming loads and reduction of water resistance and wake are not critical. Necessary equipment is installed within the open truss volume before the above-water-line panels are fully installed.
HEATING APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING BEVERAGE CAPSULES
The present invention related to an apparatus and method for the manufacturing of beverage capsules. The apparatus can preheat the material used to form the beverage material during the manufacturing process. The material and apparatus are particularly suitable for use in producing single serve beverage capsules from biodegradable materials.

A resin molding apparatus provided with a first mold and a second mold for pressing a flat thermoplastic resin sheet into a molded article, wherein the molded article has a shape provided with a flat plate part and a concave-convex part continuous with the flat plate part, and a heating part is provided to locally heat a concave-convex molding region corresponding to the concave-convex part in the thermoplastic resin sheet when the thermoplastic resin sheet is pressed.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCING A 3-D SUBSTRATE COATED WITH A LAMINATE
A forming tool is used, which has a tool trough arranged in a stationary manner and a pressure bell, which can be lowered onto and lifted away from the tool trough. An arrangement is created in which a single- or multi-layer, initially flat, flexible laminate separates the trough interior from the pressure-bell interior in a pressure tight manner. A table, on which the 3-D substrate to be coated is located, assumes a lowered position within the trough interior; there is a considerable, free intermediate space (between the laminate and the 3-D substrate. A radiant-heater assembly is inserted into said intermediate space. The radiant-heater assembly has a carrier, on the top side of which radiant heaters that can be activated are attached and on the bottom side of which radiant heaters that can be activated are attached.
Thermoforming machine
A thermoforming machine for manufacturing articles from a heated thermoplastic film includes a molding station, an extraction device, a hole punch; and a stacking station. The hole punch includes a pivotable lower punching tool which receives punched-out articles from the extraction device while being pivoted into a tilted position facing the extraction device and which pivots into a vertical 0 position to face an upper punching tool for punching operation.
