A method for producing a half shell for a hollow body includes applying a preheated plastics sheet to a first tool half that forms a die, and then pre-stretching the plastics sheet, at least in certain regions thereof, by blowing or suctioning away, at least certain sections of the plastics sheet from the first tool half. The plastics sheet is then suctioned or pressed, via pressure or negative pressure, onto the first tool half, at least in certain regions.
METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION AND FILLING OF AN APPLICATION PACKAGE FOR A LIQUID PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCT
A method for the production and filling of an application package for a liquid pharmaceutical product. A thermoforming film of thermoplastics laminated together is heated in order to plasticize the film at least in partial areas. Plasticized areas are thermoformed in a mold in order to form a chamber for the liquid pharmaceutical product and a tube-shaped application duct opening into this chamber, with the chamber and duct being enclosed by a non-thermoformed, essentially flat bonding area of the film. The liquid pharmaceutical product is filled into the chamber. The chamber and the application duct are sealed by covering the thermoformed and filled thermoforming film with an essentially flat covering film that is bonded to the bonding area of the thermoforming film enclosing the chamber and the application duct. The thermoforming film is pressed by a forming die during thermoforming into the mold in at least a partial area of the application duct.
TAPE CARRIER ASSEMBLIES HAVING AN INTEGRATED ADHESIVE FILM
Introduced here are carrier tape assemblies that can improve efficiency and reduce costs when utilized in the handling, transport, or storage of semiconductor components. A carrier tape assembly can include an adhesive film affixed to an elongated and/or extruded carrier tape. For example, the adhesive film may be integrally laminated onto the top surface of the elongate carrier tape as a single continuous (i.e., unbroken) sheet. The adhesive film may substantially conform to the top surface of the elongate carrier tape, including any punched cavities for holding semiconductor components. Proper securement of the semiconductor components to the carrier tape assembly depends on the adhesive property of the constituent material(s) of the adhesive film.
Method for manufacturing plastic glazing
The present disclosure relates to a method for manufacturing highly reliable plastic glazing by forming a high hardness coating layer. The method for manufacturing plastic glazing includes: a base material layer supply step of supplying base material layer made of polycarbonate (PC) resin; an adhesive supply step of applying an adhesive to at least one side of the base material layer; a coating film supply step of seating a coating film on an upper side of the adhesive applied to the base material layer; and an attaching step of pressing the supplied coating film and of attaching to the base material layer. Through such a manufacturing method, there is an effect of improving the scratch resistance, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, and light resistance by forming the high hardness coating layer in the base material layer made of PC.

The present disclosure relates to a method for manufacturing highly reliable plastic glazing by forming a high hardness coating layer. Method and Device for Laminating a Profiled Fibre Moulding
Illustrated and described are a method and a device for laminating a profiled fibre moulding with a thermoplastic film. The film is laminated onto a surface of the fibre moulding to be coated by heat and differential pressure. To improve the lamination of the fibre moulding and to achieve uniform lamination thicknesses over the entire fibre moulding, the method includes the following steps: fixing at least an edge of the fed film to a base plate, heating the film, deforming the film via a moulding tool, feeding the fibre moulding, joining the fibre moulding to the pre-formed film, and removing the laminated fibre moulding.

A method of three-dimensionally shaping articles, such as articles that are difficult to transport, includes the following successive steps: placing at least one flexible cord (1) on a former (10), the cord (1) incorporating a heating electrical resistance surrounded by at least a first set of yarns of thermoplastic polymer material; connecting the flexible cord (1) to an electrical power supply for a given duration to cause the thermoplastic polymer of at least the first set of yarns surrounding the heating resistance to soften, the cord then taking on the shape imposed by the former (10); cooling the cord; and optionally removing the former (10) in order to obtain the three-dimensional object.

A method of manufacturing a plastic container having a curled rim (320) comprises the steps of providing a sheet of plastic material; drawing a portion thereof into a mould (120) to form a bottom and wall (310′) of the container, leaving a surrounding portion of material to form a rim (320) of the container; cutting the rim loose from a remaining portion of material; and curling the rim. In the curling step, an inner part of the rim is supported by a supporting member while an outer part is pressed by a pressing member (230) moving relative to the supporting member for the rim to be bent around the supporting member.
