Formation of Thermoplastic Parts
A method and apparatus is presented. A portion is cut from a thermoplastic sheet of a first thermoplastic material based on a three dimensional model. The portion is secured to a mold. The portion and the mold are heated under vacuum to form a structure. The structure may take the form of a protective covering. In some illustrative examples, the mold may be formed of a second thermoplastic material based on the three dimensional model using additive manufacturing.

Apparatus for manufacturing pouch
An apparatus for manufacturing a pouch includes a die in which a pair of forming grooves are formed with a partition wall therebetween in a top surface thereof; and a pair of punches disposed above the die configured to form a pair of accommodation parts in a pouch film while being respectively inserted into the pair of forming grooves in a state of pressing the pouch film, wherein a pressing surface of each of the punches, which is configured to press the pouch film, has an inclined angle that is inclined upward from one end thereof disposed at a side of the partition wall toward an opposite end thereof.
Full face mask for a PAPR
A full face mask (1) for a PAPR (Powered Air Purifying Respirator) to be used in health hazardous environments, having an air inlet (7, 8) and an air outlet (16), manufactured in one piece from a transparent plastic in a one step vacuum forming process with a single curved field of vision (4) exempt from distorsions and comprising a compartment (5) inside a forehead area of the full face mask for accommodating a blower unit (2).
THERMOFORMING DEVICE AND THERMOFORMING METHOD
A thermoforming device according to the present invention has a masking plate and a heater block. A plurality of the heater blocks are disposed with a space therebetween in a planar direction of the masking plate. The thickness of the masking plate is 0.2-3.0 mm. The distance of the space is 1-15 mm, and the distance of the space is set at least five times larger than the thickness of the masking plate. Heat to be transmitted to the masking plate from a high temperature heater block is more easily transmitted in the thickness direction of the masking plate than in the surface direction of the masking plate, and is more easily transmitted to the sheet than to a portion, of the masking plate, corresponding to a low temperature heater block, whereby a temperature difference is provided between different zones of the masking plate.

Apparatus for forming a window of a display panel
An apparatus for forming a window of a display panel includes a mold configured to hold a plate in a concave portion, wherein the concave portion has a predetermined shape, and a transfer part configured to sequentially transfer the mold to a heating part, a forming part, and a cooling part. The heating part includes first and second heating modules respectively positioned on top and bottom portions of the mold and configured to apply heat to the top and bottom portions of the mold. The forming part is positioned above the mold and configured to jet a high-temperature gas onto the heated plate. The cooling part includes first and second cooling modules respectively positioned on the top and bottom portions of the mold and configured to cool the top and bottom portions of the heated plate. The mold is tilted at a predetermined angle relative to a horizontal plane.
FORMING PROCESS USING MAGNETIC FIELDS
Assisted magnetic forming uses a magnetic field to assist in the forming or molding of metallic and non-metallic materials. For example, such a forming process may form a blank of ferromagnetic metals like high-strength steel and high-hard armor, non-ferromagnetic metals like aluminum and magnesium, as well as non-metals like ceramics, plastics, and fiber-reinforced composites into formed or molded parts. The magnetic field is generated to partially or completely saturate the blank during the forming process, which increases the blank's formability and/or moldability while in the presence of the magnetic field.

METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION AND FILLING OF AN APPLICATION PACKAGE FOR A LIQUID PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCT
A method for the production and filling of an application package for a liquid pharmaceutical product. A thermoforming film of thermoplastics laminated together is heated in order to plasticize the film at least in partial areas. Plasticized areas are thermoformed in a mold in order to form a chamber for the liquid pharmaceutical product and a tube-shaped application duct opening into this chamber, with the chamber and duct being enclosed by a non-thermoformed, essentially flat bonding area of the film. The liquid pharmaceutical product is filled into the chamber. The chamber and the application duct are sealed by covering the thermoformed and filled thermoforming film with an essentially flat covering film that is bonded to the bonding area of the thermoforming film enclosing the chamber and the application duct. The thermoforming film is pressed by a forming die during thermoforming into the mold in at least a partial area of the application duct.
