Thermoplastic dental appliance system and method
Methods and systems herein relate to forming an upper dental appliance chassis including at least two upper appliance button protrusions; forming a lower dental appliance chassis including at least two lower appliance button protrusions and at least two vertical displacement bite pads; injection overmolding a first thermoplastic on the upper dental appliance chassis to provide a first reformable thermoplastic layer integrated with the upper dental appliance chassis that exposes the at least two upper appliance button protrusions to form an upper dental tray; and injection overmolding a second thermoplastic on the upper dental appliance chassis to provide a second reformable thermoplastic layer integrated with the lower dental appliance chassis that exposes the at least two lower appliance button protrusions and the at least two vertical displacement bite pads to form a bottom dental tray.
MECHANISMS TO AUTOMATE REMOVAL OF ALIGNER FROM MOLD
A shell removal device includes a platform configured to secure a mold. An untrimmed shell is formed over the mold. The shell removal device further includes a drive mechanism configured to move the platform away from the untrimmed shell responsive to sensor data indicative that the untrimmed shell has begun to separate from the mold.
Thermoplastic forming tool
A thermoplastic forming tool includes a wand that includes a handle, a tip, and a conduit coupling the handle to the tip. The tip includes a heating element, a forming shoe, and a forming shoe support. During use, heat from the heating element heats the forming shoe to a temperature at or above the glass transition temperature of a thermoplastic polymer. The thermoplastic forming tool may be used to apply a thermoplastic material to a surface.

Assembly for manufacturing fillable containers and a packaging line comprising such manufacturing assembly and a corresponding method
An assembly for manufacturing containers by thermoforming, which includes a magazine of thermoplastic sheet-like blanks, a feeding station for feeding the blanks, a heating station for heating the blanks, and a station for thermoforming containers starting from the blanks. The feeding station includes a closed-loop path and at least two conveyor elements, which move, following each other, along the path between a loading position, in which the conveyor element faces the blank magazine, and an unloading position, in which the conveyor element faces the heating station. The heating station includes a heating carousel, wherein, in the active condition, the conveyor element in the unloading position moves with a substantially linear motion with a speed that is substantially equal to a peripheral speed of the heating carousel.

HOUSE WRAP & METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A continuous, wavy and intersecting pattern of filaments is deposited on a surface of a house wrap membrane using a plurality of hot melt nozzles and a controller that controls, positionally and temporally, the relative positions and flow of hot melt of the nozzles and the top surface of the membrane. Water drainage channels may be provided by depressions or viaducts.

Mechanisms to automate removal of aligner from mold
Embodiments relate to automating removal of an untrimmed shell from a mold. In one embodiment, a shell removal device includes a body and a platform disposed within the body. The platform is configured to secure a mold that has an untrimmed shell formed over the mold. The shell removal device further includes a cover configured to secure the untrimmed shell to an upper surface of one or more sidewalls of the body and provide a seal between a lower surface of the untrimmed shell and the upper surface of the one or more sidewalls of the body. The shell removal device may include a media inlet in the body to permit pressurized media into the interior of the body to cause a pressure differential between an upper surface of the untrimmed shell and the lower surface of the untrimmed shell to cause the untrimmed shell to release from the mold.
LID, MOLD, AND LID MANUFACTURING METHOD
According to an aspect, a lid includes a circular top portion, a fitting portion, and a skirt portion. The top portion has a drinking hole. The fitting portion includes an inner fitting portion protruding upwardly from a peripheral end of the top portion and adapted to contact a rim-side inner circumferential surface of a container body, and an upper fitting portion thicker than the inner fitting portion and adapted to be fitted onto a rim of the container body. An upper end of the fitting portion is at a level higher than the drinking hole. The skirt portion at its upper end is continuous with an outer-side lower end of the fitting portion. The skirt portion extends downwardly away from the rim. The skirt portion is adapted to cover a rim-side circumferential surface of the container body.
