A system for constructing a composite structure includes a braiding machine, a winding tool and a forming machine. The composite structure is constructed of a wound tubular braiding. The wound tubular braiding is constructed of a biaxial or triaxial tubular braid of unidirectional tape.

A system to manufacture an object includes a headstock, a tailstock, and a mandrel having a first end coupled to the headstock and a second end coupled to the tailstock. The system also includes an actuator coupled to one or more of the headstock, the tailstock, or the mandrel, the actuator operable to apply a force to the one or more of the headstock, the tailstock, or the mandrel, to oppose deformation of the mandrel.
Pipe Consolidation Apparatus and Method
An apparatus and method for consolidating a pipe that has been wrapped with reinforcing tape, is provided. The apparatus comprises two or more pipe consolidation devices, each having a first end, a second end, and comprising: first and second support members arranged at the first end and having a gap therebetween; and an optional third support member at the second end. Each device further comprises a peripheral band that extends around the first, second, and optionally the third support members and is substantially unsupported in the gap between the first and second support members. The apparatus additionally comprises a mounting plate having a central aperture, and two or more of the devices mounted on the mounting plate such that the first end of each device is arranged bearing against a pipe extending through the central aperture. A method of manufacturing reinforced pipe is also provided.

A nasal cast bender may comprise a base; and a protrusion protruding upwards from the base portion, wherein the protrusion comprises a handle and a bending surface comprising a convex profile; wherein the bending surface is configured to shape an external nasal cast.

According to an aspect, a method of assembling a mandrel includes assembling a plurality of members via interlocking features arranged at opposing edges of each member of the plurality of members to form a compartment, the assembled members having a collective outer surface that conforms to an inner surface of the spar. A support member is inserted into the compartment formed radially inward from the assembled members, the support member making contact with a portion of each member of the plurality of members.
ATTACHING APPARATUS
An attaching apparatus includes a cover plate fixing part and two slideable press heads. The cover plate fixing part is configured to fix a curved cover plate. The two slideable press heads are arranged at a side, configured to fix the curved cover plate, of the cover plate fixing part. Each slideable press head includes an elastic cushion configured to support a flexible display panel. The two slideable press heads are configured to be capable of moving proximate to or far away from each other, and driving the flexible display panel to be pressed and attached to an attaching surface of the curved cover plate in a process that the two slideable press heads move far away from each other.

A tubular membrane comprises a support tube made out of one or more flexible tapes of porous support material which have been helically wound into a tube shape with overlapping tape edges which have been sealed to each other, and a semi-permeable membrane layer made of membrane forming material on an inner wall of the support tube. At least one inwardly projecting helical ridge is provided on said inner wall of the support tube, which helical ridge is covered with or forms part of the membrane layer.
AIRBAG ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR BENDING A FLEXIBLE PANEL USING SAME
A method for bending a flexible panel includes first, providing an airbag assembly; second, inflating the airbag assembly; next, abutting against the bending area with the airbag assembly; and lastly, bending the flexible panel by pivoting on the airbag assembly so that a bent portion of the flexible panel tightly contacts a surface of the airbag assembly, and the terminal area is located behind the flexible panel. The airbag assembly includes a housing and an elastic film. The housing includes at least one outlet and at least one inlet. The elastic film wraps the housing to form a gas chamber. The outlet and the inlet communicate with the gas chamber.
